  1. Even though I have never met you, I have been a follower and poster here since the D&C days. You are one of the people here who feel like a friend, and you are a Brother as far as fandom goes. I am deeply and truly sorry for your loss. I am sure your Dad was thankful that you were by his side when he needed you the most. As a Father, I hope for the same from my family. Again, My Condolences on the loss of you Father, and your friend. And best wishes for your Brother. Hard times are upon you for sure, so have Faith!!! Zona
  2. For the life of me, i dont understand people and their fascination with size. Didnt bruce smith play for a while at 6'3" and 265? I thought he played pretty well at DE...in a 3-4 to boot. Dwight Freeney plays pretty well at a "smaller size". As does the most recent NFL sack leader, Elvis Dumervil. I dont care what a guys Arm length is, or how long in the leg. CAN HE PLAY? Thats all that matters to me. If Graham is the guy at 9, then I will support him. In Buddy I trust.... History is littered with guys who were too small, too weak, too injured, or too whatever to succeed. And yet they did. BTW- OP, dont take this as a attack against you or your opinion, i dont intend it as such. I just dont want to fall into the Al DAvis trap of taking the guy with the best numbers who NEVER produces on the field.
  3. I think Little did prison time over his DUI caused death, didnt he?
  4. Wow. Something about cats dragging things in... Whats up Des?
  5. Well, can Jesus play QB? Seriously, I agree with you. More picks = faster rebuilding time. I trust the "Football guys" to get the players they think will help this team win...
  6. Well, the playoffs start tomorrow and I still see no games listed. Are they on different channels maybe? or will they not show up on the guide?
  7. Maybe I didnt notice because the Sabres were not playing...
  8. Last year, the CI package ended after the regular season. Are you saying that they will cover all playoff games this year?
  9. Nice to see Phil win again, with all he has on his plate now. Wish i had bought that Callaway driver last week when I saw his ad on TV. Cost me a new driver!
  10. I agree. Overall the night was quite boring. The two main events were disappointing...
  11. i would trade down as often as possible. The entire draft is a crap shoot. it doesnt matter if you pick in the top 5 or in the mid-twenties, the chances of finding a guy who will become a pro-bowler is ENTIRELY dependent on your scouting department. Let them evaluate, and create their list, then trade down two or even three times, and get as many guys on that list as we can. I would rather have a 1st rd pick around 25-30, and 3-4 2nd round picks. This team needs more than 1 or 2 players selected at 9 and 41. i mean, isnt that why we wanted football men in the front office? Nix is known for stocking the team through the draft, in ALL rounds. So lets get the guy more picks by moving down. Dont give away valuable 2nd and third rounders to move up! thats silly IMO.
  12. I was thinking the same thing. Just say no to a guy who thinks banging his sister is a good idea. I would rather have the face-painted bad-ass like this kid. Aggressive penalties i can live with. stupid ones i cannot.
  13. Wow! I cant believe I missed this entire thread. Beerball, conrats on kicking the bugs out! I am glad to hear you are getting better. Best wishes from Arizona! Welcome back dude!
  14. Yeah, i've seen that video. Dont forget the owner of the building on video talking about telling the fire chief to "Pull" the building. A term used in demolition circles.
  15. I totally agree Aussie. Winning isn't everything. Part of Being a Bills fan is that the team reflects the city, It should be Blue-collar, hard working, ass kicking, lunchpail kind of team. The fans should be PROUD of the players on the team, not embarassed by the them.
  16. OK. I haven't read every response, but i will give you my simple answer. Because he sucks!
  17. Yeah. i thought about that again when we hired Jauron. Loser the first time around, like levy, Belicheat, maybe he be a winner this time. Maybe Gailey can be just that, a winner! If we start to win alot of games, people will forget about Frazier, or whomever.
  18. Yeah, I saw that. Thats why I said take it for what it's worth. I have been a Bills fan for as long as i have memories, almost 40 years. I am just going to have to give Nix and Gailey the benefit of the doubt. Do I sit here wishing they will fail? hell no! i want them to win back to back SB's and say !@#$ all those people who wanted XXXXX. We got it done.
  19. take it for what its worth. http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/article/20...eaks-for-itself
  20. I also heard on some radio or tv show that the reason Gailey was brought in was because of Cowher. Cowher said that if he was hired as HC he would bring in Chan Gailey as OC, and he even suggested the Bills look at him for the HC position. Well, the brain trust (read Nix) did just that and Voila! I wonder if it's true?
  21. huh. I missed that completely. Thanks.
  22. i was wondering the same thing. Did he sound befuddled and confused? Or did he sound like he knew a secret? Maybe the Bills have offered him the gig already, and Ralphie was smirking a little. I dont know, why dont you ask him? meaning the offer is out there and he is just waiting to hear back, maybe?
  23. Hey, dont get me wrong, I dont know anything about this guy. I know Maybin was too small at DE, and I thought it would be ironic to have a LB who was bigger. Thats all. I still am holding out hope that Maybin will out over the next 3 years and turn into a beast...
  24. Hey Lori, Given your knowledge of all things Buffalo Bills, Who would you like to see come here as HC? Also, who do you think they will ACTUALLY hire?
  25. huh, he's bigger then Maybin. I'm just sayin....
