That is exactly how I feel about it, except i wish to add "i hope" they'll get it right. Give the new guys time to see what we have and what we need. My biggest concern is that they apparently thought we didnt need a Qb, when most of us thought we did. I hope that they got that one right...Maybe edwards was doing what coaches told him to do when he checked down. Maybe this year, Gailey will bring a "gunslinger" type of attitude out of him...

I have thought for years that if the league truly cared about reducing injuries, than they need to take off the pads and helmets. Play this game like rugby. The "throw the body around and make the highlight reel" mentality will be gone instantly. In this form of blocking and tackling, injuries would be less likely imo. Aussie Rules football and rugby dont wear pads. They survive ok. Players would adapt. The question is, would the fans?

Yeah, but Dolfag week is not what it used to be. Squish the fish was an anthem. Those two weeks were always the biggest games. Now, its the Cheatriots, and rightly so I guess. We cant beat them either. But I still have a deep dark hatred of the fish... One of my fondest memories as a Bills fan was the victory over the fish in Buffalo when the Pork Faced Satan said in his presser, "they were just tougher than us. More Physical". It was the game when we stopped them on fourth down twice, including once at about the fish 30-35. We had Big Ted and Fat Pat stuffing the middle. Must have been with Wado as coach in the late 90's...

I think Coleman is plenty big enough to play DE. Bruce played at almost that exact size for his entire career. Granted, guys are bigger now, but he played DE in the SEC, which to hear tell is the be all, end all of college football. Elvis Dumervil is doing pretty well at DE and he is smaller than Coleman. Let him play. if he cant cut it, then move him...

One thing I am absolutely DREADING about the upcoming WC, is those annoying horns :thumbdown: ! Listening to the matches on TV will be difficult. I may have to mute the broadcast, and read the CC...

I love hearing stories like this as opposed to the PAcman Jones, Ray Lewis, Ben Rapelisburger type stories. Their are some good guys out there. Not all of them are corrupted by fame, and Money.. Keep up the good works, 85. and also Kudos to Deion Sanders as well....

I was very interested to read Tim's Article, and compare it to what Chris Brown wrote in his piece on BB.com. Chris Brown quotes Brohm saying about his start against the Falcons "“The biggest thing I took away from it is that I can play at this level,” he said. “I felt like I did the job they asked me to do. We had a real basic game plan. They didn’t ask me to do a whole lot of things. We tried to keep it close, not make many mistakes and just do my job." So my question has been, and still remains. Did TE checkdown all the time because he was told to by the coaches? You know, run the pop-warner, capgun offense and thats it....or is Edwards Broken? Gailey may be able to save him, or he may not. But the offense was just so pathetic under Jauron that its hard to tell.

I agree. I didnt realize how much I wanted the Bills to get him until he went to Denver. Yeah, I know he doesnt have the "skill", or the "arm" or the "Motion". All he had was the Heart. I want THAT on my team, any day... No go get Clausen!
