  1. ok beerball, thats just too easy...
  2. I agree with you. In that other thread, i said the added weight is useful at the ILB position. It takes a bigger guy to play inside, imo.
  3. In another thread, they list Moats weight as being UP to 259 lbs. Maybe he has slowed down some, and cant get after the QB as quick as he used to... Maybe
  4. if true, I love the fact that Moats is 260. On the inside, he needs the size to fight off guards to make plays. Oh, and take the damage from making 12-15 tackles per game... Right?
  5. I dont consider that as a knock, necessarily. It is just the truth. Until or unless we get an owner like Pegs in here who will spend money to try and win titles, we will have to try and build through the draft and sign smart, less expensive FA's. Those are facts that we just have to accept, IMO. Been that way for nearly 40 years near as I can tell...
  6. Says they are gonna be Blue. I hope they look nice. I loved the red ones from long ago...
  7. It was miserable yesterday, here. I had to replace a breakline on my sons 1970 cutlass supreme yesterday, too. I was wiped out and in bed by 830. missed the storm...
  8. i dont think teams can sign UFA's because of the lockout. So, this is a moot discussion. I could be wrong.
  9. I watched it. I liked what i saw so far, though i wish it was in HD... I like the concept of one season being one case. It could be very interesting...
  10. ok, I'll bite.... What is a Duvet Cover? Sounds like a drunken golfer asking for a head cover...
  11. that, makes a lot of sense. It would be cool if Jimbo was on here. He is my favorite Bills player, and the only one I ever got an autograph from.
  12. This is what I am unsure about. I dont think we will ever know if Nix was in the process of deciding who we pick. Scouts dont get involved with that, i dont think. Scouts do just that. They scout and provide their report about players, so that someone else can decide which player at which position to fill which priority need... For all we know he said Maybin was "a one year wonder who performed at a high level in College, but it is unclear how that will translate in the NFL." or did he say : we HAVE to have this guy! Dont let him get by us! We will never know. He was the Head Scout, but what exactly does that mean within the Bills organization? Did the Head scout run the draft? or did Dickie Douchebag? or Brandon? Or Ralphie himself? I am all for Blaming people for the Maybin pick. I just dont know who to point at while calling for his head.
  13. so, I was wondering what happens to all these family members when Ralphie boy passes on? I am sure they will all be canned by whomever purchases the team, yes? oh, and sure, why not.
  14. correct. but he was not GM. nor was responsible for Maybin, as suggested
  15. A piece on Foxsports on how to fix 6 of the leagues worst teams, and they totally got the Bills info wrong. Unless Buddy nix has been GM for 2 years already. Hmmm, i didnt think so. I expect second rate articles from second rate sites, but Fox Sports? Kind of suprised me Here is the link to fox article. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/nfl-broken-teams-in-state-of-disrepair-021511 (the writer talks of the Bills needing defense, and the pressure is on Nix since the team failed on the Maybin pick) Fail!
  16. That wheel thing killed me when I did it. My core is rather round....
  17. I think is the best indicator of success at the next level. It shows that a guy is capable of being "The Man" at a University level, and accurate, and smart enough to read defenses at the next level. I would add also that the level of competition is relevant as well. Peyton Manning was "The Man" at a school in the SEC, not the SWC. Or the Mac. One year wonders have been the rage before (akili Smith, Ryan Leaf, Rick Mirer) and now we have another (newton). Stick to the formula. Take Dalton in the second if you must, but stay away from all others, IMO...
  18. Now thats what i want to see! If we wait until the 4th round to address the lb position, we will be the same as last year on defense. We must draft multiple LB's this year, and preferably early, so they can come in and actually play...
  19. well, if he is as good as people say he is, then I want him to stay here for a long time... Lets hope he can build a roster and trun this ship around.
  20. how many rushing yards did the Bills give up in the first half? 200? unacceptable...
  21. Merry Christmas everyone, from Arizona...
  22. I thought it was pretty funny, actually.
  23. i love the idea of getting Kerrigan, but he will be long gone by the time rd 2 gets back to us. And isnt he a DE BTW? he is too big for OLB i think...
