  1. LOL. I agree completely. I know this is early, but maybe we should draft Forcier from Michigan. Yes, I know he is only a Freshman. But he has already proved to me to be a clutch player who knows how to win. PERIOD! That is exactly what I want as my QB. Kind of like Tebow. I dont think he will be a very good qb in the NFL, but he may be the best QB this team has a chance to get. I dont care what he looks like on paper. Arm strength, 40 times, accuarcy, etc are meaningless to me. Just win the damn game! Win the damn SuperBowl!
  2. well, that's ok with me. we all are fans and want the same thing. We are all entitled to our own opinions. I just think that fear is a funny thing to put your finger on. IMO, Edwards seams to have happy feet just a little bit quicker than he used to have. Before that game, he went deep more often. He waited for routes to come open. He stood in the pocket and delivered the ball to whomever was open, without fear of taking a hit. Since that game, he seams less willing to stand there. He gets jittery. he gets nervous. he cant wait to break out of the pocket and scramble, or just dump it off/throw it away. I still want him and the Bills to succeed, dont get me wrong about that. But i am afraid that we may need ANOTHER qb, and soon.
  3. Putting McKelvin on IR confirms one thing in my mind. That this team has no shot at the playoffs, and they KNOW it. Otherwise, why put him on IR when he might be back in 6-8 weeks when we still have 13 weeks left in the season? It sure would be nice to get McKelvin back say in week 12 to help this squad make a playoff push. The fact that the Bills don't want him back, or think he cant make it back, tells us something. I dont think the leg injury was that serious. Therefore, it must be that they just dont care about making the playoffs. Again, its just my opinion. And just for the record, I dont think we had a shot at the playoffs anyhow. Not with DJ leading the way to mediocrity...
  4. For my money, I will say its jauron and Edwards. Jauron is a gutless POS who shouldn't be allowed near our team. And Edwards was on his way to being what we all wanted him to be until that fateful day in AZ. I hate Adrian Wilson for that cheap shot that ruined out team, and our QB. We were on our way to the playoffs, I am certain of it. Ever since that hit, Edwards has been afraid. Hence, Captain Checkdown... I was hopeful that an off-season would help Edwards recover. It is obvious that he hasn't. i am afraid that he never will.
  5. I had to call them to turn my superfan back on. Last week was a free preview, and when DTV turned off the free preview, they turned off MOST of the fans who had paid as well. It took me an hour to even get through, and the gal said they were getting killed with calls from irate fans....
  6. in AZ, new cars are very expensive. depends on the value of the vehicle. Our 2005 Corolla is around 300 and our 2003 grand prix runs around 140 a year
  7. This is why we lost, if you ask me. Patriots made adjustments at halftime, we didnt. In the first half we were able to consistently pressure Marsha. We got ZERO pressure in the second half. Thus the cheatriots scored at will in the second half. If I am not mistaken every possession, yes? Through in playing the soft prevent after we went up by 11, and the writing was on the walls. Wish McKelvin stayed in the EZ though. We win if he does I think.
  8. If its a fractured forearm, that would be bad for his career. Those type of things tend to re-occur and could cut short his career. I hope its just a sprain.,..
  9. That was pretty cool. Djokovic seems like a nice guy. Of course, he just won. How is he when he loses?
  10. Good to see you have stayed the same Bill. We all have the same goal in mind. Win the last game of the season. We just disagree as to the best way to accomplish that goal....
  11. i agree completely!
  12. I only have one thing to say about polamalu. Madden Curse lives on... If you believe in that sort of thing.
  13. so is Trent. Gonna be a long year.
  14. Well, its simple. Trent Edwards was concussed vs Cards. He has not recovered, and i will state that he will NEVER recover, IMO. He cant/wont stand in the pocket. He checks down almost immediately. Since the injury he has thrown less than 10 yard passes almost 75% of the time I believe. SOOOOO, if you carry out the 3-9 since the injury last year to this year, i get 4-12 this year. see, simple. We need a QB.
  15. Sorry, but what is SPR?
  16. I live in Peoria. You should check out Nino's on 59th and Peoria. It was originally Owned by a Buffalo Native, I am not sure if they still are though. They used to have all the Bills games on sunday, and even sold Genny. Dont go to the Ninos on 99th, that was sold and is pretty much just a Bar.
  17. my heart goes out to the families. May God Bless them, and have Mercy. My Father was a fireman in Rochester.
  18. I couldnt agree more. Adrian Wilson finished this guys career, maybe. If Trent doesnt quit playing scared, he's done. He never was the same last year, and so far, he looks just the same. Some guys never recover from a concussion. I sure hope Edwards does.
  19. I think Maybin bears most of the blame in this situation. Ever since number 12 signed, he knew his slot number. He has all the power to tell his agent to just get him the contract so he can sign it. We all know the Bills will give him the slot value. I think the blame the Bills take in this is drafting a guy who values money over Honor. If it was me, I would say this, " give me the percentage increase over last years pick at the same spot that everyone else is getting, and i will sign it today!"
  20. Another voice of reason! Although, I would like to see him in a few regular season games before we put him in the HOF. If the dude plays this year and next like he has so far, than i absolutely think we need to lock him up long term before he costs too much to keep. <_<
  21. I couldn't agree more. I also agree with Lori except this one caveat. I want about 7 more just like EW. 4 for the Offensive and 3 more for the Defensive lines. (i think Stroud is just fine as he is thank you). You win in this league by controlling the LOS. PERIOD!
  22. I kind of agree with you. Being tough in camp does not guarantee wins. But being tough in camp, and then backing it up with being tough in games, and being a GOOD GAMEDAY coach does. Are you listening DJ? Coaches like Parcells and Belicheat get the most out of their guys, that is indisputable. The question is, why have the bills not been able to find a coach who can do just exactly that? Levy was able to. Knox was able to. They are the only coaches we have had (that I can actually remember since i am 43) that did. Players like DJ. WHO FRIGGEN CARES!!!! Jauron does not motivate his guys, and he has never pulled the absolute best out of his team. Want proof? when was the last time a DJ coached team beat a team with a winning record, let alone a playoff team or team of SB caliber? Not in Buffalo, and who really cares what he did before he got here. I hate the bears and nobody cares about the Lions... Sorry, i got a little caught up in my rant on Jauron....
  23. Hey, i grew up in Albion (long years ago, mind you). I will have to wish him well also.
  24. thats what I was thinking too. Also, didnt they beat the Patriots last year?
