Yeah. September was a Mirage. Lucky win against the Raiders. Almost go down to the Rams. I got my hopes up too. Looking back, those games look ALOT different now...

NAh, I knew this game was over after the first Cheatriot possession. Bad penalty, followed by a bad call, followed by "not seeing" the challenge flag. The fix is IN!!!!

Yeah after the cheap penalty on Simpson, followed by the bad call on the catch by Welker, followed by the refs "not seeing" the challenge flag, it has convinced me, somewhat. If the league is fixed, we might as well watch wrestling. or Roller Derby. They are as much a sport as the NFL... Oh....btw- there was talk of the league being fixed back in the Kelly days. I was a big gambler back in the early 90's, and one week, the Bills were at the Bucs, and ALL the talk was that the fix was in, DONT bet the Bills. I thought to myself NO WAY is the NFL rigged. Well, I didnt bet the Bills and Kelly and the Boys went in to Tampa and were beat. The Gamblers all knew, the House knew and had Tampa favored. there was almost no action on the game that week. Nice post, and welcome to tbd. I agree. We are good enough to win. The question is will we take the next step? The ESPN crew (TJ i think it was) said at the end of the day we will find out if the Bills are Pretenders, or Contenders. This is as close to a MUST WIN game as I have ever seen. Its not about the Playoffs, it's about proving we are a team to be reckoned with. We must win this game to stop the bleeding and end the downward spiral. If we win, then ANYTHING is possible. If we lose, I fear the season may be over, and I worry about the fragile Psyche of this team. We may never get over it with this group of guys....I mean, We were in first place going into 3 games against the division, and if go 0-3, I think the team may fold... Go Bills! Ok. Whatever. What part of my post sounded like I had a problem with Obama's Race? I have a problem with the fact that we elected a guy with no experience to guide us through one of the most difficult times this GREAT Country has ever faced. I wanted a strong hand, who has served his country, who has a reserve of experience to draw from, and a voting history that consists of more than just "present". I didn't want a guy who was raised with values not my own. How exactly is that a problem? I could care less what color a man is. I care about what he stands for, and what he is willing to die for. McCain is a HERO. Obama is an unknown. So you are just happy that we got an African American, and you call me ignorant? I wished President Obama well. I hoped for things to get better. What is wrong with that?

One of my proudest moments as a Bills fan was after we beat the fish in Buffalo years ago, and the pork-faced Satan said after the game that we just beat their asses all day. Our defense (Pat Williams and Ted Washington stopped them on a couple 4th and 1's )was incredible. Johnson said we were the Tougher team and one of the toughest he had faced. Where oh where has the Manhood gone. Our team has the smallest sack of any team I have seen. A direct reflection of the coach. No passion, no heart, no problem. (I realize that is untrue, but I would love to see SOMEBODY spitting nails after back to back turds like they just laid!!)

I agree that our lines are the problem. But we were hurt by Peters holdout, and though some here think Schobel is over-rated, we REALLY miss him. i would flop your picks and go DE than OC. Oh and then I would go WR. Our guys dont threaten anyone....

I watched one of those this week with Karloff and Legosi. It had 3 short stories, based on Edgar Allen Poe. I think it was called Tomb of Horrors. I liked the one where Legosi walled up his wife and Karloff in the basement and proceeded to have what looked like an acid trip, but was meant to be a haunting. I like the old classics.

yeah, 5-2 is the only thing that matters, but deep down I have always wanted to see the return of dominance of the Bills coincide with a spread, K-gun style attack. I love the Style the old bills had, and I would love to see it come back to Buffalo, thats all. Watching old horror movies has made me a little nostalgic I guess...
