  1. I agree with Boatdrinks and others who stated that it comes down to our defense putting pressure on Warner. When he feels the heat, he makes the damndest decisions I have ever seen. Oh, and he turns the ball over VERY easily. I was hoping the Bills would be the beneficiaries of the 7 turnover game Warner has in him. He still may, since he seems to have bad stretches each season. But i want to see our defense get after Warner like we did against Seattle. stopping the run is secondary this week. Edgerin is not a homerun threat. He might break free for 15, but he wont take it the distance. We need to pin back our ears and chase the rabbit, he will cough it up... our offense will not torch the Cards defense like the jets did, simply because we are to conservative. We wont throw 30 times, we will run 30. Cards are decent against the run. We should win, but we must force turnovers and get in Warners face all day long.
  2. Hmmm. There is a NNY at 95th and Glendale. Or one at 83rd ave and bell. Which do you mean to start at my friend?
  3. i may be incorrect. But I think you may also chose to defend a side....
  4. it is usually closed. They probably wont open the roof until late October.
  5. I personally think it is a great idea to defer to look at the weather as well. How many Nov. and Dec. games at the Ralph has the wind been a factor? LOTS! if we defer, we can make sure we have the wind in the fourth quarter for the crucial kick, or to make them have to try and throw into the wind, etc.... Our defense is good enough that picking a side may be the best choice in bad weather games....
  6. maybe, but that "crippled" offensive line produced 236 yds rushing the next week against Indy. Oh yeah, they won on the road as well... The Jax win is huge if you ask me. There was nothing wrong with Jacksonville's defense. The had all 11 guys, I believe...
  7. Hey Aussie, are you gonna be there?
  8. i dont like the amount or return yardage we are allowing, period. 70 yard return on the opening kick sets a bad tone from the start...
  9. Umm, Well said!
  10. Sorry. But the mistake was definitely on Ko Simpson on that play, IMO. He is the FS and its his job to take the proper angle to insure there is no TD. Doesn't matter if Poz bats it or not, the FS plays the angle to stop the td. Ko just took a bad angle. Maybe he is still a little rusty, or still learning on the job, but i dont blame Poz.... you could make the argument that Witner is equally to blame if we were in the cover 2 which I believe we were. The cover 2 is supposed to prevent long plays, not give them up.
  11. First I want to say that I am as Giddy as everyone else is to be on the right side of a game winning kick, and a 3-0 start. Trent looked great in the 4th qtr. Marshawn's td in the 4th was the best 3 yard run I have EVER seen! the entire Offense was laying on top of Raiders in the endzone, it seemed! friggin amazing. Ok- here's my Nitpick on Jauron. All the great coaches are able to evaluate talent and schemes of opposing teams, and gameplan accordingly. Jauron is the type of Coach I fear that believes "my system will prevail", and sticks with it regardless of opponents weaknesses. We all new the Raiders secondary got Torched against Denver. The Chiefs are PUTRID, so we cannot expect whomever their QB is to to beat that defense regardless. So next up is the Bills, and I was HOPING to see the type of offense we saw in the 4th qtr for the entire game. A balanced attack is nice, yes, but after it was proven to be ineffective in the first half, we could have/should have opened it up sooner. We only opened it up after there was no other choice left to us. This game could have been the blow out we all thought it could be if we had ATTACKED the Raiders with a wide-open throttle from the opening kick. Basically, I think Jauron is a MASTER at getting the most from his players. We are prepared every week, and we fight like true Western New Yorkers in the middle of a Nor'easter! But I wish he would change his gameplans from week to week to exploit opponents. For example: If the Rams this week were starting 4 rookies in the secondary, we would come out in a two TE set and try to run 30x and throw 30x and be balanced. I would rather throw the first 30 plays of the game and be up by 35 points, then run the next 30 to run out the clock... Great win Yesterday! Go Bills!
  12. Yeah, they look like that all year long, and then comes the Playoffs and Romo folds like a cheap suit and DaBoys go home early... Screw the Cowpukes....
  13. ROFLMAO! That was SOOO true. well said, sir!
  14. Plaxico Burress did something similar for the steelers his rookie year. Only it was a big first down grab, not a td. He caught the ball with a nice diving catch, then got up and spiked it with a big first down signal while the other team was going after the ball. I LOVE watching stoopid players do stoopid things (As long as the are not Bills mind you)....
  15. Yeah. People are stupid. Have you ever seen "first 48" on A&E? Its about solving a murder in the first 48 hours after the crime. People are pretty dumb. And BTW- cops will lie their ASSES off to get you to confess...
  16. I would say OLB is the biggest need. Crowell is gone. Digiorgio plays inside. And I dont think Bowen is the man. 1. OLB 2. TE 3. C 4. OLB 5. DE 6. OL 7. OL
  17. I also noticed Digiogio had two blocks as well. One as Roscoe caught the ball, and another around the 15 yard line or there abouts.
  18. WTG kzoomike. Dont spend it all in one place. nice win for you and the bills!
  19. and lets all pray that we suffer fewer injuries than last year! If we do, we make the playoffs. Play hard, make plays. LETS GO BUFF-A-LO!!!!
  20. Marshawn Lynch will have 23att for 136yds with another 4rec-38yds out of the backfield
  21. nicely done Mike, so far. The biggest payout I was ever looking at was 18k, and I lost the last game. It was Favre and packers that choked at home. Good luck to you, though you obviously dont need it. I LOVE the 6 team parley, but in Vegas it only pays 52-1.... Go Bills!
  22. Because when Fairchild came here, he was highly touted as "innovative" and "creative" and a "mike Martz disciple who will drastically change the passing game". And what did we get? Run, run, pass, punt about 75 percent of the time. I think he directly puts his "touch" on the offense by dictating game plans, as well as what type of plays he wants to run for a given week. I could be totally wrong, and you could be totally right. Bottom line is, it doesn't really matter to me, I just hope our Offense is more exciting, less predictable, and can create some big plays CONSISTENTLY this year.
  23. I want to see if this teams offense is being run by Jauron or Schonert. If Dickie has his way with the offense, then I expect another 7-8 win season. If he lets Schonert run the Offense the way he wants, then I see us winning 10-11 games. We have the talent to win more games than last year, but only if we utilize it in a manner the league doesn't expect. We CANNOT be the same predictable team we have been for the last 3 years and expect different results. IMO-we must use more mis-direction, play action, crossing routes, RB's in the passing game, TE's crossing the middle. And I LOVE 3 or 4 wr sets with no FB. Spread the defense out and run or pass at will. Lynch will put up fabulous numbers if we can do that. We should be able to tell to some extent this week. My enthusiasm for this years version of the Bills is tempered until I find out who is running the Show on O.
  24. I wish i had the link for you, but I read an article about retirement age and how long a person lives. Basically it said that the earlier a person retires, the longer he lives.... I would go with the 39 yrs old option, if possible...
  25. EXACTLY!!! Bottom line is, media may be dying, but the Bills are a 650 million dollar corporation who spends millions in salaries. THEY can afford to send 8-10 people to chase him down and say, "Hey, Jason, What's up? What's with the limp, and what's it going to take?" Silent treatment works on women, sometimes, but eventually you both need to apologize and kiss and make-up. It feels to me like this is what's going on here.
