My second training camp report, ever!
Zona replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. I am usually drinking by noon on the golf course, what's wrong with that? I wish i had a blackberry so i could get TBD updates from OC's brother. I love training camp!!! -
Simple question.......Will Jason Peters be at camp?
Zona replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no, he won't. I say he shows up late or not at all. we could be looking at a long holdout. i hope not....but we could be. -
yeah, I am getting nervous about these guys getting in to camp. If they miss a few days, thats alright. But if they miss 2-3 weeks, that will put them WAY behind... The last thing we need is to have a prolonged holdout. Get these guys signed and get them into camp asap!

Let's real people. None of this matters. Mesa is a suburb of phoenix. As is Glendale, home of the cardinals. Foxboro is only 19 square miles and has like 17000 people accordining to Wiki. None of this matters, imo. Whether or not the Bills leave is up to Ralph, the NFL, and what happens when he passes...

Just a little note to all my friends on the Wall

all I know is i had half a tank at lunch, and on my way home it was on empty. Half a tank should last me three days of normal commuting. I am putting a locking cap on anyways... I am not saying your wrong, I am just confused as to what else could have happened... -
I had about a half a tank of gas siphoned off while I was at work today. I have never had this happen before, but I will try to prevent this from happening again. The work lot is not under surveillance, and several of my co-workers take breaks and lunches in the lot, in their cars. So it was either one of them, or someone who happened on to our lot and i was the unlucky one. I know its not a big deal, maybe 25-30 bucks, but maybe a locking cap would have prevented this from happening. Oh, I went to lunch and checked my tank to see when i may need to re-fill, so I know it was at half, and on the way home it was empty... I don't see any leaks, or smell fuel in my garage after filling, so I assume it was stolen....

lol. I didnt want to sound like an Arse. I shot an 80 yesterday...I am on vacation this week and plan on playing every day... I love the summers in Arizona. Play from 1:00 till 3:30 or 4:00, and there is nobody on the course , no waiting.
-
sorry guys, but i play often and pretty well. I shot an 83 Monday and a 75 today. Had three birdies in a row today! I am usually around 80-85. But I have been shooting low so far this summer...

How many times have we got to tell you about washing your car?! Next time, let it stay dirty, please!!

When I first got my HD tivo, I would tivo all his travel shows. It was a fun way to take a half hour vacation. I know, it sounds lame, but I enjoy his show. i like how he gets a local guide to give the history of the place, as well as translate if necessary....

Hey Steely Dan, There is a fringe conspiracy site that i read quite a bit, and they have a nice thread there discussing this same topic. If you want to check it out, try abovetopsecret.. Yeah, it has the usual stuff, but some good stuff too.. Go to the boards, check under general conspiracy discussion... Let me know what you think....

Shame to hear about Eight Bells. I saw the video and I still dont see the injury. maybe it happened during the race and she just broke down on the runout? Big Brown looks like the real deal. i hope he goes all the way..... -
Draft: Who would you like us to come away with
Zona replied to lets_go_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont care which wr the bills take, but they better take one early. Does Devin Thomas remind anyone else of Andre Reed? The way he runs after catch, he looks like reed to me and I wouldnt mind him on our team. And i also think that if this team wants to draft Schmitt, they better take him in the third. He wont last in to the fourth round. 1. Thomas. Trade down if possible, but get him or Sweed. 2. Keller TE 3. Schmitt -
You see, that's what is so great about the draft. At this point, everything is speculation. Nobody really knows what will happen. Do the Bills go WR? Do they trade up for a guy? Or down to get more picks? Bottom line is, I DON'T CARE!!!! I just love the excitement. I want them to trade up to get Ellis. I want them to trade down for more picks. I want them to stay put. I want it all!!!! I like speculating on all the different possibilities before the actual draft. Plus, given the success of the last two drafts post donawhore, I am encouraged that the Bills will have another successful draft. I dont care who we pick, I am going to cheer them on with all the gusto I can muster. After all, they will be a Bill.
-
I am fan of stockpiling picks, but only in the first 3 rounds. The talent level after that is thin. 5 picks in the first 3 rounds is better than 8 picks in the last three...

I also have a black dot set of eye two irons that I have owned for about 20 years. I would definitely keep them and have them reconditioned. IMHO the Eye Two's are one of the best sets of irons ever made. I find myself going back to them from time to time. What could it hurt. Dont know what it would cost you, but it is probably worth it. Dont know anything about the sumo clubs...

RIP Mr. Heston. A fine Actor and a better Man. The world is worse off today.....

On a positive note. WR Adarius Bowman.

As i was saying in my post in your thread, THIS is how TSW used to be way back in the days of yore. A respectful disagreement! not an attack, or a flame. No personal insults! Wouldn't it be nice... Keep up the fight Tipster! -
After reading JoeF's post about JP being a team first guy
Zona replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, the good old days. Before the huge RJ/Flutie fiasco. When the board was a fun place to hang out and DISCUSS the Bills as opposed to the my OPINION is better than your OPINION days we have been in for a while now. I used to post quite a bit back in those days. Joe Six Pack was not yet JSP. SDS used to post far more often. JDG used to be John De GeorgioSomething (sorry JDG, my memory isn't always there since I hit 40!) It would be nice to go back to POLITELY disagreeing with an opinion without the insults. Part of the problem is the overall lack of maturity, loss of respect for others, and the outright aggressiveness of todays society. This board reflects that IMO...After all is said and done, dont we all still LOVE the damn Bills!!! ??? Oh well. You cant change the world in 1 post. Sometimes it's better to just ride the wave and enjoy the scenery. Don't look too hard for the Sharks.... -
As far as pain goes, it was breaking both forearm bones in a game of football. I got knocked down from behind and landed funny. The Breaking of the arm was not as painful as the 3 nurses and the Dr trying to set the bone. THAT was excruciating! if you have never had a bone set, here goes. The nurses hold you, and Dr grinds the ends of the two bones together to try and line them up properly, then he pushes the jagged ends together! yeah, that hurts. But you guessed it. he didnt like the way the ends joined so he tried again....No painkiller. I was 13 and ready to kill him... The other injury that was bad, but not as painful, was my knee bending sideways in a softball game. I was at bat, and took a big swing, My plant foot slipped and the knee buckled. Turned out to be a fractured kneecap and thigh bone. I was 32 and missed 4 months work. The knee still is "off". I am limited since then to golf mostly....It sucked to gap the outfielders, clear the loaded bases and get thrown out at first.

I like the Jordy Nelson pick. I think that kid will turn into a Player. I really want him on this team.
-
I might Lurk for the most part around here, but I sure miss this place when it Rosen's. Damn Jay!

I think you hit on the key in your post to figuring out what the Bills Might do. They said as much last year. The Bills evaluate different draft combinations like you did to see which helps the team more. Willis then Irons lets say, or Lynch and Harris/syler. Marv said thats what he likes to do. Question is, which combination does Marv like?
