my biggest problem was snapping the ball with 7-15 seconds left on the play clock in the fourth qtr. When milking the clock, you need to really milk it out....

I also found your post (825) to be interesting as well. The speculation about a beakaway civilization, specifically. There are people out there who talk about secret space programs, leading to the ability of being able to do just that. Leave earth behind! Now that would be some story if true. There was a huge thread on another site (abovetopsecret.com) about just that. I dont suppose you have seen that thread, have you? It was pretty far out there.....

nice video GreggyT Gobeckli Tepe is one of many fascinating places around the world. Puma Punku being another. I have often wondered how many times civilization may have arisen, only to wiped out, only to rise again. Main stream science is always wrong. I mean just read some about nasa and their work with warp drives.... why cant we have older civ's that are undiscovered?

Week 1 "lock" to win - Now on to Week 2.
Zona replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best bet week 1 is NE/Pitt Over. Both teams have great offenses, and sub-par defenses. Then you can still root for the cheaters to lose. Final score 38-31 -
i vote for "show me the baby"

no, i didnt use a dedicated circuit. i should have. My daughter has blown the gfci circuit many times, and we actually had an outlet melt down. the electrician i talked to said the outlet was probably just loosened gradually over time, but now i think otherwise. now i think otherwise. thanks for the tip!

Man asks Costco to reassign him. Costco reassigns him.
Zona replied to Beerball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
LOL, as a costco employee, i only have one thing to say, just about everybody pushes carts(even I did. for about 9 months). Women used to get a pass because of the difficult and dangerous nature, but now they have push carts and security, so even women have to push carts. Costco is all about diversity and tolerance, but there is always somebody who claims to have a problem. Granted, there are still racists and bigots and discriminatory people in management, but they get fired before too long. Some always find there way through the process, but ultimately reveal themselves... This particular case sounds like the guy was planning on suing from before he even applied for a job. Costco would not have even known about his religion, as they are unable to ask about it. So within days of being hired on to the front end as a bagger(like most new employees), he objects, threatens, and then gets fired. then sues. What? he didn't know Costco carries pork? Sure he didn't. -
I think you are right YOLO. His game tape is awesome! i have hoping for a while that he would slide down in the draft and we could grab a steal. But he just ran himself into the late first, early second round. I think he will be in the pro-bowl for years. He just refuses to lose....

I was dis-appointed to see Jaelen Strong run a 4.5... I was hoping he would go a little slower and fall to say 3rd or fourth round. I love this kid! I would have loved to see him in Buffalo. He will be a stud in the nfl. I see him as an Anquan Boldin type. He wins the ball everytime. He is just so strong when the ball is in the air. Since he just ran a 4.5, he will go very early. I am happy for HIM, but sad he wont be in Buffalo.... And yes, I know we dont need a WR, just a big fan of the kid... Go Devils!

i just watched Rich Eisen on NFL network do the story. Very moving, and very sad. RIP Stuart....

I have wondered since I first heard of Marrone's opt out clause if the Jets had Tampered with Marrone. He was a NY guy who was at Syracuse, and IMO wanted to be in NY since day one. Once the Jests fired Rex, Marrone may have wondered, and if the Jests reached out at all, that is against NFL rules. I would love it if we got compensation if the Jests indeed sign the Doogie....Maybe we get their first round pick as compensation? Get'r done Terry. Go after the Jests, just be sure to wait for the signing to show your proof....(i know, we wont get the 1, but we should get something, and jests should be forced to give up something)

The assassination of Doug Marrone by the coward Kyle Orton
Zona replied to BuffaloPride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just re-watched this play, and Orton had chandler open right in front of him. He could have hit him on the sideline for the stick, but he took 2 more steps then slid. He clearly was busy looking for defenders than guys to throw to.... The guy people are saying was headed up to cut Orton off came off of chandler. he was tailing him and stepped up to stop the scramble... -
The assassination of Doug Marrone by the coward Kyle Orton
Zona replied to BuffaloPride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lol, that was a bad decision IMO. He could have dove forward to try for a stick. i also liked the slide in the middle of the pocket to avoid a hit. Orton was in rare form early in the game yesterday -
And THIS is the number one reason that Officials call crappy games. Because the league wants Manning vs Brady 399 in the playoffs. Good teams get every benefit of the doubt, while bad teams never will. And never forget that bad teams are mostly small market teams as well(i am aware of GB, thank you). Why would the league care about Bills fans opinions? Buffalo doesn't make them money. Denver, NY, Dallas, Boston etal., have Millions of fans, and make the league way more money through higher ratings, better ad revenue, sales of merchandise, etc. Money talks, and we all know it. The NFL is solely about money, people. Don't ever forget it. Don't ever think they give two s***s about the likes of Small market teams fans. And---it is For Entertainment Purposes only league. Not about "may the best team win", but rather, "what is best for our bottom line?"

Does Beating Cleveland mean we've already beaten Oakland?
Zona replied to Mr. WEO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it's pathetic that i knew that. I don't post often anymore, but when I do, people still don't listen.... -

Official Pre-Game Thread: Week 11, Bills at Dolphins
Zona replied to Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Time for another Bills Vs Fish. I agree with others that this game may reveal the character of this team vs other Bills teams. We need a big win after that crushing loss last week. I think we get it! And on a side note. I just put two 9lb pork butts on the smoker. Twelve to 13 hours from now, (ok, maybe longer) i will be stuffing my face with Pulled Pork .....Yum! -
Coach Marrone game planning for the chiefs

I would agree with you 3rd, about Brown only having one game with us, but all his film and highlights show him improvising, looking for holes. He has never shown me the ability to be an every down back. As far as our oline and run blocking, i think back to the switch at QB from Edwards to Fitzpatrick. We went from the most sacked team in the league to the fewest sacked team in the league in one season. With the same players. All because Fitz would fire the ball out, or escape if he had to. The style and characteristics of the qb changed the success or failure of the oline. The same things apply to Rb's. If we had a true number 1, instead of an aging guy with slightly less then number 1 talent, then i think our oline would be much better. And our oline has new guys, in new positions, trying to learn to play together. AND-throw in a new QB in week 5, and i dont think they are nearly as bad as the "experts" or us fans think. Give them some more time together and coaching and they may be OK. Any way i look at it though, i see the bills drafting a rb early next year. One of our first two picks i think.

my opinion is that the rb's vision, or lack thereof is the biggest reason behind our lack of a run game. Fred has the best vision of all our backs. He sees the hole, sets up his blockers and gets as much as he can. CJ uses speed as his primary ability, and sometimes chooses poorly. Boobie runs straight ahead, and does not read blocks, or see holes. And Brown has the worst vision of just about any back i have seen. He sees holes that are not there, and completely misses the one right in front of him. The example Bandit just showed us is a prime example of brown's lack of vision. Just hit the damn hole in front of you instead of trying to cut back into a much smaller hole. The primary run right play design has a man on a man, all blocked, with an opening that most backs would have been able to exploit for a positive gain. Brown cuts back and gets nada... maybe that is why he has been sitting...
