  1. This looks like GM Gase reacting to getting reamed out by HC Gase.
  2. https://nypost.com/2015/08/06/rex-ryan-loves-eating-dog-biscuits-goes-back-for-seconds/
  3. It's been eerie. No QB controversy, surprise retirements, coaches eating dog food....
  4. Dabs the Mike Vrabel's Junk square on my off-season bingo discussion card.
  5. Thanks - even though they only played in the same division for the 2001 season, it would be remiss not to mention.
  6. Sorry Josh, Flacco is still the GOAT! https://web.archive.org/web/20140302023620/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_0Nskl22g4
  7. Looking really brings into focus how special Kelly vs Marino was. Can anyone name a recent QB rivalry within the same division that can compare? The only one at the moments that springs to mind is Rivers/Mahomes, but that doesn't exactly fit the bill as they came into the league 13 years apart.
  8. Hard disagree here. What he's done with bad o-lines and run-heavy offenses is amazing.
  9. The Bengals winning the AFC North might be the boldest claim on their list. I dismissed the idea of the Lions firing Patricia mid-season, but them I looked at their schedule and thought it's not totally out of the realm of possibility.
  10. With the front 4 looking better, I'd put my money on Hughes getting his first nod.
  11. Wanna feel old? Josh Allen wasn't born until after the trial was over.
  12. The narrator should be Jerry Springer.
  13. Death. Taxes. Jaguars/Titans on TNF.
  14. If Jayson Blair or Alex Jones reported this story - about a good player wanting out of Washington because of FO incompetence - I'd believe it without hesitation.
  15. Sort of a real life metaphor about how much harder things will be going forward for without Pittsburgh's great line protecting him.
  16. Exactly. Hard to argue that a 7th round pick who's not the most athletically gifted QB can last 15 seasons in the NFL without adapting and changing.
  17. "It's probably better for your career if you go out and party the night before games than stay home and watch Modern Family."
  18. The Ralph always seems like a bargain after getting concessions at a Jays or Raptors game.
  19. I think it'll be PM based on the preamble that only SB-era years will be included. They specifically use him as an example: Because we only considered a player's performance from 1967 onward, some notable passers, such as Bart Starr and Don Meredith, aren't included, while others, like Johnny Unitas, only have post-'66 production factored into their franchise QB eligibility.
  20. This is surprising, as a big reason for blacking out the competing game in local markets is to keep to keep a captive audience so local team viewers don't switch to competing games during commercials. Could be a 1 season wonder.
  21. I must be more optimistic than I though, this is the first season in a while I haven't thought about punters.
  22. Ask Jeeves was much more generous to the Bills.
  23. As bad as our o-line was last year, Arizona's was much worse. And Miami's this year looks to be around the same level of awful. Although Miami's QB situation (and likely coaching) is much improved this year, that awful line will "hinder" (not really in the grand scheme of things because it's a rebuild) them. The Dolphins are in a great rebuilding situation for 2020: If Rosen doesn't work out, there are plenty to chose from in next year's draft. But if he does, the team will likely still be near the bottom and they'll be in a great position to get a haul for a likely top pick.
