  1. You mean a poster in here would actually attempt to spin a situation to fit a flawed narrative? Say it ain’t so!
  2. Whoa! So Bosch comes out April 17th? Love Titus Welliver in that role.
  3. I guess I prefer a playoff game winning drive over how one carries himself. I have that luxury as a fan.
  4. How about people learn to seek out and absorb the entire quote, rather than pick out a few words and decide “ Yep, that fits my personally biased narrative” ... now THAT would be truly refreshing.
  5. Quite possibly true, and with all due respect for KPeg, that is part of the problem
  6. I actually think TPeg is more passionate about hockey, but unlike the bills, he hasn’t hit on the most important hires. Never heard anything bad about Chris Bandura unless he too went to the Russ Brandon school of behavior. This is a great hockey market - unfortunately the home team has sucked
  7. The article comes across like a piece of fiction peppered with a few facts to give it plausibility. I choose optimism over doomsday scenarios. The virus will change some aspects of life, but at some point in the near future, life will prevail.
  8. I worked at the cable companies head end in those days ... my most important jobs were making sure the Spice channel was scrambled when it came on at 9p and removing snow from all the satellite dishes
  9. Supertuner .... I had the cassette version- heluva good sounding unit with an amp/eq and jensen triax 6x9s
  10. I had the number one pick in my fantasy draft last year and all the experts said Barkley ... fool that I was, I listened instead of going with that voice in my head telling me that CMC is the man
  11. Nah. I believe he’s shot, even if he doesn’t think he is and I want a compliment to DS, not an over the hill clone. I think they had some value when McBeane was building the roster. Now that the bulk of that building is completed, their value is negligible at best, and I’d prefer young depth with greater upside.
  12. First thing I noticed as well ... can’t have it both ways in order to flesh out what you want your narrative to read.
  13. I have no idea but ANYWHERE is a good start. I’ve certainly done the takeout thing, but bringing food home in a styrofoam (wasteful) container automatically drops it’s quality a notch. I’ve been disappointed in foods I normally enjoy when being served at the restaurant.
  14. Yea I really enjoyed his commentary as well as his seemingly warm relationship with Nance .... I worked in media so my first experience was a display of National Geographic type imagery at a demo at the PBS studios .... I knew it would be a game changer then. Plenty of spare tires and baggy golf clothes lol .... and plenty of heaters out of camera range I’m guessing
  15. Really appreciating the roll that Mickelson was on to win in ‘04 .... and appreciating what hi definition TV meant for modern sports coverage
  16. I would think if you enjoyed BB then you definitely would enjoy Ozark.
  17. If Winston could get the picks under control, he never would have lost is job in the first place ... the guy has arm talent and is mobile
  18. Lol that didn’t age well in the #metoo era .... but I’m sure in the same situation, we’d all be choirboys, right?
  19. This is how I remember it as well .... had that Minnesota game gone as, let’s be honest, we all expected? It would have become worse.
  20. I’m cool with that, largely because you’re from my hometown I assume
  21. It was a laughing point for the National media and the narrative was that it’s so bad in buffalo, guys quit at halftime. You weren’t paying attention.
  22. Never partook in their cookies but I don’t mind their chicken teriyaki on flatbread. Not a sub in the true sense, but a relatively healthy sandwich option .....
  23. Never got the hate for CC .... I find him to be a fairly solid analyst, but he suffers from the “Nickelback Syndrome” ... when a vocal minority dislikes something, it becomes the trendy thing to do. As far as Brees? I have no idea until I actually hear him in action.
  24. In related news, water at room temperature is wet.
