  1. Sorry I know you werent making the who weve played arguement that was others. Although since you brought up 30+ to the Titans (understandable), I would say they have given up 30+ to the Cowboys (understandable) and Vikings (less understandable). We have also put up one of the best defensive performance (top 5 by QB rating) against Mahomes. From talent, our Coverage def seems better (more picks in less games) and their rush seems better so maybe youre a pass rush type of guy...? I dont really see big differences in talent elsewhere. Depth I dont agree as they have a couple of Bills cast offs playing for them. Why do you think their depth is better...?
  2. Fair I read it as the last attempt is not 50/50 cause the first attempt. I read your other posts and did come away with it being loose language not misunderstanding.
  3. Id pass on the Panthers. I like what were doing better. 30+ points to the Vikings ughh.... Panthers are doing well to keep yards down but Bills are getting takeaways. Also if were on the subject of teams that havent played anyone can I have the Panthers for 100 Doc
  4. Ahh... this is still just saying we had ONE bad game. Our game against KC is one of the best defensive performance against Mahomes (I found a total of 3 lower QB ratings than our game). They had 1 bad game where they gave up 143 rushing yards on 20 attempts to a guy not playing the rest of the season.
  5. Overall not a problem. I do wonder if we could get more efficiency with the Gold (rip and liz) calls for WR screens. Miami played a LOT of cover 0 and we used WR screen to counter. It was ok. However at least a couple times (from the Cover 1 breakdown) when we went to beasley on one side, diggs was on the other alone and getting cushion (as you would expect). This is what happened on the TD to Diggs. Middle field open in a cover 0 look and we went his way. I wonder if we could drop the WR screen and throw to Diggs whos gets cushion on the other side.
  6. I agree with you from the onset. Don't agree with your last line. If you go for it again you odds dont change. your language implies that the odds change on the second attempt because the first attempt failed; thats not true, Its still 50/50. But again agree with you notion that at the onset if you are committed to trying twice you have 75% chance of getting at least one.
  7. Disagree on points about his having trouble against good QBs. No QB has had a good game against us this year (including mahomes and tannehill). I think we are designed to play TB in many ways. Everyone struggles with them from a defensive perspective but I think we would do better than most (by inviting the run). I think our weakness is a really strong run first team that can be complimented with a good passing attack when the box is stacked. Titans (before Henry was out), Browns, Ravens are teams I’m thinking of (some top offensive teams from last year).
  8. To the bold, you mean like the Dolphins, WFT, Houston, KC? What? we have done very well against our schedule. Hell we covered the spread against the fish yesterday. To the underline, Pretty sure noone in the world makes their rankings this way. If we were just sneaking out wins sure, but we have been winning by > 1 possession and with losses by a total of 10 points to good teams. If anything we are getting the short end of the draw on these close games. Could the Pats beat? Sure. Do I think well be doing well to beat the Pats once? No thats what I expect. Winning twice would be doing well. Your BBFS is strong still.
  9. Can you remind me? From my recollection we have a lot that have played. Dane Jackson (2x last year), Cam Lewis, off the top of my head. Isn’t making them inactive burning one of their 2 call ups. Who would be the TE that would be made inactive before game day?
  10. 4th and 15 from your own 35? Keeps punts relevant to high octane offenses. Also odds of converting 4th and 15 are better than onside kick and ultimately more exciting.
  11. This is why people think you are overreacting. I thought what matters was January. IMO we really havent hit any it matters times. Do you really think its critical to win these games (as in we wont make the playoffs or were going to lose the division?). If not then we get into the dance and thats when it matters. From that perspective this team has shown it can play well when it matters MOST. Did you miss last game when Levi played man a lot? Was really happy to see cover 2 man so much last game. Tremaine is a beast against RBs in man coverage. Now if youre saying his below average on island without help then I agree. but thats not our scheme like ever so.... its not really that relevant.
  12. I'm not gonna go on their boards and rub their noses in it. However, I feel very good about the state of those franchises and their fans. Fans I do feel bad for: the Lions. But Pats and Chiefs. No Im gonna quietly enjoy that misery.
  13. Thanks for the heads up, I hate when my fries take too long.
  14. That high low concept is killer. I like the slide to the left cause I think it changed the angle and lets him rifle it in there on the short side of the field. I think the WFT when he hit that same concept he arced it over cause he had the field.
  15. I assume this is sarcasm cause would be insane otherwise.
  16. I hated the commentary with that. Mahomes made a great play to score a TD. We didnt move (I think a DE stood up) when they were doing all that stupid stuff. To in any way say they scored cause of all that is wholly wrong imo. Yet there were Al micheals and Collinsworth talking about how special that was for an OC.
  17. Cover 1 analysis of the offensive game (they have a VERY good defensive breakdown too). I knew the High Low concept on the 2nd Sanders TD. That was pretty easy to see in real time. The explanation on the Diggs deep shot was great to tie back to the WFT game. Always like their stuff and I do know from their past videos over the years, it is incorrect to state that they simplified the offense for Josh. It is and always was a lot on his plate. He learned how to master it last year.
  18. I think yorue talking about the 3rd and short. I was ok with it cause it was hard to see and they were behind the play. The one a little later (series before Tre's DPI) was a bit more egregious. Diggs gets his hands on the ball and the defender doesnt turn his head while being very physical with Diggs. @ 12:12 in the highlights below I agree those are both RTP. Clark would have had to just not drive him into the ground and wouldve not gotten the flag. He pushes to drive Allen into the ground, so to avoid the call he needed to stop (within the laws of physics). Ed's play is not about bringing a QB down especially not as a runner. Hes throwing so youre not trying to tackle him. Youre trying to hit him and affect the throw. So yeah it makes sense you can't smoke his knees when hes in that position.
  19. Don’t even have a LCB and ran with 3 safeties to start. 🤮 Also wasn’t a pick 6 but both of Josh’s picks resulted in great field position that lead to quick TDS (2nd return was just weird).
  20. I understand now. Any plays specifically? I dont recall any specifically, and I thought overall the tackling was great in that game which was critical to overall defensive success. Again overall he has been good to elite as tackler which is the secret reason why hes stuck around for McD. I looked through highlight video and got the following summary: 1 whiff at 11:22 against Kelce that resulted in a first down on KC's drive. He also got out run by the cheetah at 15:20 (I'm not gonna count thats a missed tackle, more of a bad angle because of a blocker in the area). If you wanna nit pick he "loses" his grip at 4:30, 9:40 (this was not his man and I think him coming off to engage the runner saved many yards), and 11:50 but all those had other players there quick. would note he has a really good tackle on hardman at 10:30. Overall I still think tre is a worse tackler (he also got out run by the cheetah), and Levi was an effective tackler with 1 exception.
  21. I dont think this is true. He only missed 3 tackles all of 2020. Do you have data for this season.
  22. I love it in the first half too. As Al michaels was saying "This is the first time all night they are bringing their safeties into the box" he burns a time out. He wants to see what youll do for next time!
  23. Josh averaged 21 yards per completion. Thought the offense looked fine considering the weather, some bogus calls, and some really bad no calls (2 3rd downs fell incomplete because of PI with Diggs).
  24. That teasing of desmond king was too funny. Rook has a chip on his shoulder. Even the ref is laughing in the picture.
  25. If peeps are thinking the price is a bit steep I think McBeane are making an example of Taron. He lost his job to cam Lewis last year. He didn’t make noise and continued his grind. When his shot came back around he put up 2 game changing pick 6s. I think they want to reward that type of toughness
