Exactly. Right now our only tackles on the roster are Dawkins, Brown and Quessenberry. That is awful. Quess should not be more than an OT4 on a roster Brown was only a late third round pick. If he doesn’t become a starter but can give us a better option at swing tackle, that is still a lot of value out of a third rounder. Get an OT early so we can hopefully have better protection for the most important player on the team.

Yea I post because it’s Bills related but don’t think Walterfootball is too connected to the Bills. I would be shocked if we drafted Torrence even in the second round. Bresee is kind of a boarderline guy, the only thing that held him back was the medicals. But the Bills have more info than I have and if they find him to have a clear bill of health then he would qualify right along with Mazi Smith as a top option in line with the Bills draft tendencies.

That definitely could happen! Beane is a smart guy and knows his drafts have been criticized lately and a new approach may yield different results. I’m going to guess we stick with the same strategy though, because he parroted the get a guy who can contribute year one and develop into a starter year 2 mindset at his pre draft presser.

Yes, We are still missing (I think 6) pre draft visits which Simpson may have been one so I couldn’t definitively rule him out. I agree with you though the chance of him being the pick at 27 is lower because it doesn’t seem the Bills are targeting any LB with their visits.

Everette Brown, DE, Florida State. He put poor Ed Wang when he was LT at VT on his butt with a sick bull rush and I was sold. Got drafted in the second by Carolina and was trash. Turned out Ed Wang was just awful haha
