  1. He is and he's only mid-20's right now. Although he didn't put up good numbers this year, it was in limited carries and snaps. He's a powerful runner and I think he's very underrated out of the backfield as a pass catcher as well (over 500 yards with Jax last year). He's probably looking for 8-10 million after that Super Bowl performance though.
  2. I thought Fournette and Gronk were viable options for the award, although I think we all knew that Brady would win it.
  3. Marpet was blocking at Hobart for my high schools alum RB Steven Webb. I've liked him since making that connection. Go Bucs, the Chiefs have taken my top spot for team that I hate the most. Not only that, but many of their fans seem to be obnoxious, bandwagoners, or both.
  4. He needs to spend the off-season doing whatever Diggs does and I'll be even more excited. In all seriousness, he had a great rookie year and I'm very happy to see the success he had. I'd like to see what Hodgins has in preseason next year. IMO I think we need a guy that can just blow by the defense with his speed. Maybe John Ross would come play on a small deal. I know he's had injuries his whole career but we seem to have a way of rejuvenating guy's careers.
  5. I think that a reliable TE opens the game up for Allen more than a RB would, although I think we need to target both this off-season/draft. Even a guy who is half as good as Kelce (Tonyan as far as receptions and yards) is better than our entire TE group. It's not realistic to assume that we can just find a Travis Kelce, Darren Waller, or George Kittle, but we can find someone around Tonyan's level and an upside of one of those guys mentioned, especially with Josh throwing them the ball. Three of the teams in the championships have legit number 1 receivers and very reliable TE's. We were the only team that didn't and I think it really hurt us.
  6. I loved him going into the season. My favorite play from him this year was the one on one in the endzone against D-Hop where he knocked the ball away. I think he has some serious potential.
  7. Thanks for sharing this. Good to see that not every QB is perfect and nerves are going to play into it, especially when our QB is SO YOUNG. Plenty to look forward to in the years to come.
  8. Not saying he was going to tackle him, but the dude just stood there... Even if he slows him down a little it can change the outcome of that play. I understand that he's slow but all he has to do is take two or three steps and dive hahaha
  9. I thought he was a confused offensive lineman when I first saw him, because of his number. Glad I was wrong and he's able to make a few impact plays here and there.
  10. Other than being a bad analyst, he let's his love for the Cowboys and Sooners dominate his thinking 😂 Guys like that will always have a spot on TV because people like to watch them say outlandish things, it's just how Sports talk works I suppose.
  11. I agree. Colts would make more sense, for Darnold's sake, because they can hide his inefficiencies behind a great rushing attack. That could be a Ryan Tannehill situation, to a lesser degree, where a QB escapes bad coaching and ends up in a good situation for his style of play.
  12. His thing is he would take Mayfield over Allen now, which is quite funny. Shannon is a big Josh Allen defender IIRC. This whole segment is just hilarious.
  13. Probably the Jets. I could see Darnold getting traded to the Bears or the Eagles possibly. If I was Miami I would try to make a deal with Houston; Tua and picks for Watson preferably.
  14. Gotta think outside the box, or round shape, whichever one Rob is.
  15. As I watch through this again and again, I can't help but wonder. Why didn't 78 (Orlando Brown Jr. I believe) put more of an effort in to tackling Johnson? It looked like he just stood there even though he was one of the closest guys throughout the whole play.
  16. When we so often do our fake field goals and he makes a throw. Have you no sense??? 😂
  17. Didn't Allen clear in one week last year? Concussion against the Patriots and then cleared to play the Titans the next week. I think we all expected Mahomes to play, regardless of what they labeled his injury as. What's more concerning for the Chiefs, in my opinion, is his turf toe injury. That can change his whole dynamic of throws on the run if he isn't as mobile outside the pocket as normal. Send inside pressure and force him outside to keep that foot as a bigger factor in the game. Go Bills!
  18. I'm too nervous to process anything other than the game on Sunday, sorry 🤣
  19. I'm so glad Christian had him on to co-host. Tre's episode was definitely the best one from this season. He's just such an energetic and funny guy
  20. Sub in my personal favorite Gus Johnson. That guy can make anything exciting. I might be in the minority here but I really like Michaels. Collinsworth... Not so much.
  21. That's why you get guys like Jerry, Poyer, Lorax, and to a lesser extent even Beasley that aren't super productive with other teams but just find the right scheme. Allen is example A for developing a QB IMO. -Beasley was good in Dallas but definitely not as good as he has been with us.
  22. Been saying it for a while this week, John Brown and Matt Milano need to ball out this week. I agree that Oliver is due though, last game was tough because he was up against one of the best in the game. One thing I do love about Oliver is his pursuit after a play, even if he can't make it to the quarterback he's running to make the stop no matter the ball carrier, which is something you don't always see from a DT.
