  1. I want to sign Mo Alie-Cox for a fraction of Engram's cost after the season. Mo is a true breakout waiting to happen.
  2. You pay tax where you work. NFL players have to file tax returns in ~9 different states. Cowboys players have complained in the past, Texas has no state income tax but their training camp in Oxnard required them to pay California income tax.
  3. There's one team in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes.
  4. I would do everything in my power to avoid THIS Jets team. But they have to fire Gase. They have an extra 1st from the Adams trade. I would think they would get extra draft capital for Darnold. Denzel Mimms could be something and hasn't gotten on the field yet. We saw first hand here how quickly an oline and receiving group can be rebuilt.
  5. We need a RB and they know it. They were after Fournette before Bell. If Etienne or Najee Harris are there at our pick it'll be tough passing on them.
  6. If I'm Dallas, I'm on the phone immediately to try and swap Fitz and Dalton.
  7. Both passes were throws maybe 6 other QBs in the league could make.
  8. We have to beat the Jets this week, otherwise the season is over. But beating the Jets and beating the Pats the next two weeks, every single Bills fan would have signed up for 6-2, 2.5 games up on the Pats through the first 8 weeks of the season.
  9. Allen had 2 40 yard dimes he dropped on Brown and Diggs in the endzone. Those would have been good, but not amazing catches. Those two are brought in and it's a completely different conversation today.
  10. I don't care how many points the D gave up. When a team has Mahomes - Hill - Kelce and they are comfortable just running it down your throat and playing keep away, that's a gigantic red flag on any D.
  11. Should have called Snacks Harrison the moment Star opted out.
  12. We need a RB with talent. The good news is where we are likely to end up drafting is kinda the sweet spot for a top shelf rb. The bad news is we've used day 2 picks on RBs the last two years and are still talking about potentially drafting a RB.
  13. KC is 12th in DVOA, and that's largely due to an awful Raiders game. Their D isn't bad.
  14. The more I think about it, I think the Pats are just bad. They lost Hightower / Cannon / Chung to opt out. Other than Winovich and a couple interior Olinemen, they are getting no production from players they drafted. They have ~3 All Pro caliber players, one is a guard, one is a special teamer. Who scares you with the ball in their hands?
  15. Man, I know they are the walking dead and will never go away, but even with a Chiefs loss, the potential we are 6-2 and they are 2-5 with a head to head loss to us already to start November is very much in play.
  16. LOL. People saying "pass on Le'Veon Bell" when he's coming out of a "Gase" situation and saying the answer is give the ball to Yeldon more need to sit a couple plays out.
  17. People still aren't grasping Adam Gase. Tannehill looked washed out of the league under Gase, his last 14 games his numbers are almost identical to Mahomes. Robby Anderson looked to be on the same course, a month away from Gase and he looks like a WR1. Davante Parker looked like a JAG with Gase, his first season away he also looked like a WR1. Gesicki looked like a complete bust when Gase drafted him, now he's one of the most interesting young TEs in the league. Either 1) Bell is washed or 2) it's another Gase affect guy. Given it's only money and we could toss him out of the building, I will gladly roll the dice. If you plug anywhere near prime Leveon Bell into this offense it raises the ceiling dramatically over Singletary / Yeldon / Moss.
  18. I think Star and Phillips attitudes in the heart of the dline are very missed and were one of the major sources of the defense's whole backbone last year.
  19. I think there was some "out of sight, out of mind" with some posters here on the Titans. They manhandled the Ravens like that in the playoffs last year and the Ravens are a team that routinely manhandles opponents. The Titans were in the AFC title game and it wasn't a fluke. They somehow turned their own ignorance into a "us against the world" mentality and the Bills looked like they weren't sure they should even be on the field with them. Not to mention with the Chiefs coming up, it was an easy to overlook game.
  20. The Titans make every team in the league look small. That's a grown man offense.
  21. I know "never sign a running back in FA", but if Aaron Jones hits the market, he would be my first call. More under the radar, but I think Gus Edwards is good and underutilized in Baltimore.
  22. Lawrence grew up less than an hour outside of Atlanta, from a marketing standpoint for the team it would be a bonanza to draft him. As others have mentioned, it seems financially impossible to move Ryan. But I would have to believe both Dallas and Washington and maybe San Fran and Chicago would be interested. Personally I think Ryan is just about washed.
  23. I'm sure I'm not the first to bring it up, but if this were the long snapper and the nickle-back, is anything getting moved in the schedule? On the same token, if only Teddy Bridgewater, Shaq Thompson and a strength coach for the Panthers tested positive, would anything be moved? This feels like BB lost his QB and he and Kraft were complaining behind the scenes to Goodell for accommodation.
  24. Norman was in interesting addition last week, forcing the fumble. It's pretty clear pass rush and 2nd corner are our weakest points, but a 2nd corner who can force some turnovers could be a nice key to defense improvement. I'm not buying the Ravens when it comes to the Chiefs. The last couple of times they've played the games haven't been remotely close. The Pats with Cam are likely the closest challenge, their ability to run the football and grind the game down it what's needed. If our secondary could force turnovers and Allen / the offensive improvement is for real, I think we are an interesting matchup.
  25. The Titans shouldn't be allowed back onto a field until they have 2+ weeks of all negative tests. If they have to forfeit a month worth of football games, it is what it is.
