If Josh is cleared to play he will start. It doesn’t matter if he missed some practice during the week.

It truly must be Halloween season. Even the regurgitation of this atrocious loser’s name gives me nightmares. And, no, he did not take the team to the playoffs. The team made the playoffs in spite of him! To this day I am amazed that this narrative has an inkling of life that this guy was anything but horrible.

Why the snarky attitude? I’m just expressing my opinion but I don’t believe this happens. To make a challenge when you know for certain the call will not be overturned makes no sense on the face of it, to me.Even doing it to “send a message to the refs” doesn’t make sense to me because of what you give up. Honestly, I don’t know where you’re getting all of this attitude from. You sound maybe a little paranoid or something. I’m just chiming in with my opinion.

This is more likely than not the case. Our defense is that good! I agree, Brady will be back to his old self against Washington. They might put up 50. And I don’t believe that it would be a good move to try to outbid them for a wide receiver particularly just to prevent them from getting one. We have to keep building our team the way we have been over the last two years. If the bills make it to the postseason this year than it is a successful season. Anything after that is gravy. Let the process go on.

As the other doc (s) on this thread have noted, this is the case. It’s hard to say how long it will take but Josh should be fine. I can’t remember if this is his first concussion or not but that is now my big worry for him given the way he plays. Typically when an individual suffers a single concussion, and it is their first one, with time they recover fully. The problem, as we have all come to find out, is repeated concussions. I have a valuated many combat veterans who have had multiple TBI’s and their symptoms can become chronic. What is interesting is that there does not even have to be a direct head trauma in that something hit somebody in the head. Getting exposed to explosions such as mortar attacks or IED hits cause a concussive effect, also. Thus, the well understood cumulative effect. The hit on Josh was clearly targeting and the guy should’ve been ejected. But Josh does need to learn how to protect himself in these situations a lot better.

I have evaluated many patients with traumatic brain injuries over the years, mostly veterans. Loss of consciousness is a grade one symptom. If someone loses consciousness after getting hit on the head a full-fledged concussion protocol should be initiated. They did the right thing with you and with Josh. Although I’m not completely certain he fully lost consciousness but he might have

I pretty much agree with this. While his fourth quarter heroics have been terrific,his turnovers, if they keep going this way,Are not a sustainable way to keep winning games.

Trent had the “check down mentality“ before that hit. He just lost his nerve after that. I don’t think we need to worry about that as far as Josh is concerned.

Well, for what it’s worth, I am a doctor and I have assessed traumatic brain injuries many times. A brief little Dash like that is completely non-diagnostic. I hope I’m wrong. Why so snarky?

If he was determined healthy he would’ve been back in the game.

That’s not really an indicator of how severe a concussion might be. It could still be pretty significant despite his dash into the stadium.

If I had any hair on my head I would be pulling it out. But I do love this defense! We, mostly Josh, gave it away. I have to admit, I was wishing Josh was in there for that last drive to see if he had any magic. Damn!
