  1. So were the patriots. This team better not take their foot off the gas for anyone.
  2. I understand what you mean, but the chiefs are a top 5 defense, and still one of the best teams in the NFL. Quality win. But we did see Brady get out-coached in the second half by a veteran DC. We have to expect something of a learning curve for our young OC. Hoping this was a good experience for Brady.
  3. Also, this defense held KC to 20 points last time they played. In okay with criticism of McDermott, but damn some people just let their hate cloud their judgements.
  4. I'll hold out hope until it's over, but I worry that you're correct. The Bills made the switch to Brady too late, when it's been clear all season that the offense was stuck in the mud.
  5. There are still 5 regular season games to go. A lot can happen in that time. Just a few short weeks ago, I was a passenger on the Don't Fire McDermott train. But now, I can see it pulling in to the station. Most owners want to win because that is how they sell tickets. Changing coaches can be a means to get those wins. But Buffalo is different. History shows that these fans will pay for a crap product.
  6. McDermott makes more in a year than Jauron did in his whole tenure. So if anything, McD is a rich man's Jauron. That said, not sure I agree, but I see the comparison.
  7. I'm not advocating for Ben Johnson. He certainly is very run heavy, though I wonder if that's a product of who his QB and HC are. Would he be run heavy with Josh Allen behind center?
  8. From the beginning, when he announced he would be taking over the DC role, my concern was that his game management would suffer. Given when has to work with, I don't think he's been bad at DC (apart from NE and the second half of the Eagles game).
  9. This is the time of season that you want your team to get hot for a superbowl run. But I'm afraid the Bills may have dug themselves in too deep a hole. As long as the Bills lose one less than Miami going into the last week, they have a shot at the division.
  10. His hustle helped to prevent a TD on that interception before the half.
  11. With the switch to Brady, and Gabe's performance over the last several weeks (Tampa Bay aside), I think we may have seen the end of his run as WR2. It's Kincaid with a sprinkling of Shakir taking over as #2.
  12. You would lose money. We have to stop with this "Diggs just wants stats" stuff. He has shown himself to be a fighter who just wants to win. He's not pouting when another receiver gets the ball. He's right there celebrating with them.
  13. Brady has had 5 days to prep someone else's offense to play a top 3 defense. How are we not up 21 - 0 by now? Seriously, Brady may fail here, but people complaining about the offense already (after scoring points on the first 2 drives) are the reason we can't have nice things.
  14. I agree. I wasn't absolving Josh's mistakes. He makes plenty. But no amount of coaching can make a person good enough to make this play. Burrow couldn't make that throw. But Burrow would've hit Cook for the first down. Like you said, that's what you get with Josh.
  15. To the people who don't think Josh is elite... this throw is ridiculous.
  16. Quality of the starting QB has a big impact. Say what you want about Josh (I still love the guy), but I think we can agree that he's a big upgrade over Bridgewater, Darnold, and late career Newton.
  17. Asking for your friend, Dean McSermott?
  18. How dare you? If Uncle Rico had been put in 4th quarter, he would've won state. Learn some football before making asinine comments like that.
  19. Well, you've convinced me...to smoke exactly what you're smoking.
  20. The one who is brainwashed is you, apparently. You're on some strange crusade to prove that Belichick isn't a good coach. Any objective person who knows football, knows that Belichick is a damn good coach. By your simplistic measure, Brian Billick was an excellent coach because he won a superbowl with Trent Dilfer. And you fail to address how Tom Brady wins the superbowls, I mentioned previously, without Belichick's excellent coaching.
  21. Brady is one of the greatest to play the game. I hate to say it because I can't stand the guy. But also, he doesn't win all of those rings without Belichick's defensive mind. Brady didn't limit the "greatest show on turf" to 17 points, or the McVay Rams offense to 3 points. Brady didn't stop the Falcons from scoring in the second half, nor did he get a goalline stop when the ball should've been given to Beast Mode. He hand picked the bucs for a reason. It gave an aging Brady a team loaded with playmakers and a good coach. Brady was great. But QBs don't win games by themselves. It's not a question of Brady OR Belichick... it was Brady AND Belichick. Greatest coach QB combo of all time. I'm going to melt my keyboard now, for allowing me to type that.
  22. While covering a deep zone, I assume they'd line him up wide, right?
  23. The Madden curse...you forgot the Madden curse.
  24. I agree with this. Of course, we are all speculating because no one from TSW is in One Bills Drive every day, but McD seems frustrated by the offense as well. He's getting production out of a patchwork defense, meanwhile the healthy offense (with generational talent at QB) is sputtering along. McD isn't going to publicly throw Dorsey under the bus, but before the Bucs game, McD said at this point, the offense should have an identity and you should know what your guys are good at. Then they came out up-tempo, throwing it to different guys and finally getting Kincaid his first TD. It makes no sense that McD would purposely sandbag the offense. None. No coach ever said, "This offense is just too good, slow it down." I get it, we're all pissed off about this teams performance. And ultimately, it's on McD to get this turned around. But to assign him blame for the offenses current stuggles is just misguided. But I understand the anger behind the blaming. I'm pissed off as well.
