I'm not saying hes been Vonte Davis bad, not at all. But on that TD to Mike Williams, they specifically went after him. Rivers said it after the game. Davis was the corner on that play (doomed from the start), and Poy-yay was in position, but he couldnt make the play regardless. And his run support last year was awesome. Alot of plays at or behind the line of scrimmage. This year it seems like hes 5yds deeper, meaning he has to make an open field tackle or get the RB with a full head of steam.

McDermott- Highest odds to be fired..
Captain_Quint replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a reaction to Vonte quitting. Its the only Bill's story out there this season so far, so this guy thinks it's a reflection on McD. Incredibly lazy take on the situation as a whole. I guarantee he read that Vonte quit and immediately created this mess without researching anything. -
I think Poyer had a rough game this week. If they weren't going after Edmund's, they were going after Poyer. I'd say he's taken a step back from last year when he was so effective.

NFL.com has that available, but not in the US. In the US, all you can get is NFL Replay, where you can watch the game after it ends. I would think there is a way around that, but I'm too dumb to even try to figure it out. If you find a way, let me know.

Maybe you cant read or missed the news, but Foster is an elite talent who has a top notch pedigree. He doesnt need to run routes or catch with #4.38 speed. I hope YOURE being sarcastic in that you want to pile more onto this young man's plate right now.

Colton Schmidt is tailgating?

So are Aaron Williams and Stevie. Saw some videos earlier. -
Nice end around play for Foster in the first half. That's a good way to use him so he doesnt have to worry about catching it, running a route, etc.

Breezy here. No rain yet. Cat 1's are easy. On the bright side, I was able to kill deer with the boat out all week.

Looks like this is gonna linger over us for a while. Not real worried about the wind in Charleston, but the tide cycle lined up with this storm. Get ready for some major flooding upstate, then flowing down through the rivers. Nothing we haven't seen before! Boats been out all week. I've been hunting and day drinking all week.

Reason for some optimism. Receivers open.

This year is his training camp. We're gonna get the good, the bad, and the ugly for 15 more games this year. Better than Peterman or McCarron, who only possess the bad and the ugly. Hopefully he learns from it and can roll into the offseason with his head straight on how to be successful. -

Post your panic here. Just got the alert that we're in a state of emergency in SC. Looking like an East Coast strike. Pulled the boats, off to buy beer and smoked meats. I say Florence, SC takes the direct hit from her namesake.

The Decline of the Legion of Boom
Captain_Quint replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Carroll's always been a snake and a liar, so it's not surprising that his locker room fell apart at the hands of a middle school girls clique. I hope his turtleneck sweater swallows his stupid pinhead whole someday. Sherman and friends are also to blame. They tried to emulate the BMore defense/attitude that made the Ravens so successful year after year. Instead, they decided to be divisive and oust the QB, probably because he wasnt quite tough enough for their liking. Eventually, it all became the Sherman Show, and playing football was secondary to the showboating.
