  1. It's not that entertaining 17-13 imo. Again what was a better game to watch the 13-3 Superbowl or the NFC & AFC Championship games? Oh yea and NE had to put up 37 points in that game to make the Superbowl...... KC too were a dear in the Headlights scoring 0 the first half.
  2. How about being entertained? As a Bills fan they are winning so yes that makes me happy, but if you are just watching the game as a football fan, the games are not that much fun.
  3. Welcome to the 10% or less..... 6-3 games after 1 (imo) is more then enough. We are not a fun team to watch (outside 4th quarter comebacks). Frankly I'd like to see this team down by 14 and see what they have (yeah yeah I know NYJ). More so I'd love to see a shootout.
  4. You do realize that even amongst the most ardent fans (I'd bet 90%) would have no interest after a while watching 6-3 games???? My friend was in Tennessee and has been a season ticket holder driving down for 30 odd years and he commented how boring a game it was. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/270428-worst-game-ever-buffalo-vs-cleveland-review But keep fondly reminiscing about that Cleveland game...... Oh I forgot Buffalo lost......
  5. It is as I say over & over the idea that McClappy preaches about the game being played between the 20's. The Bills can move the ball, they just often turn conservative and continue to play for a 17-13 game, vs. where the NFL is going, which is 27-24 (or higher). Eventually it will bite them in the a$$. Yes I want them playing with the mindset that they need to score 30+ every game & not ball control.
  6. The point is that he was the top receiver by a pretty wide margin, average yards receiving very good & when he catches the ball I don't see juggling, which is important.
  7. How they came up with 6????? The point was he just didn't do anything, and there were high hopes as a second rounder. He didn't make as far as I remember a contested grab, didn't fight for the ball, catch anything that would count as difficult, had drops little YAC. If he flourishes elsewhere good for him, but can't see it based on the body of evidence to date.
  8. Watch his CFL highlights, look at how big he is and the fact he was the #1 receiver in the league should have answered any questions.
  9. The day Zay makes a tough catch will be his first. I wanted to see him do well, but seeing replays of him getting lost on a wide open route and dropping Tyrod's pass just infuriates me. WR's are supposed to be sure handed and able to battle for the ball, something I never saw Zay do.
  10. Bills last 300 yard passing game was 2016 OT vs. Miami. And note that was the only game that year they threw for 300. No wonder some here suffer from Stockholm Syndrome and go on about not needing to throw for 300.... It happens for every team in the NFL but Buffalo!!!!!
  11. And with a bye week coming up, they'd serve his head on a platter!!!!
  12. And so is NE's........ Frankly NE's is much better......
  13. Can you imagine how many pages there'd be on here about Allen if he put up a stinker like that? Heck after NE the Barkley talk as the better option was real here.
  14. And we'd have some people here waxing poetically about the Clevelland Brown's Buffalo Bills 6-3 embarrassment if the Bills had won that day!!!!
  15. Yep..... Never thrown for 300 & incapable? Check again..... 37 games & counting for thew Buffalo Bills......
  16. Again he'll learn more throwing for 300 then 175 and check downs. Like so many fans, you probably have no idea what a 300 yard passing game looks like as it has been over 2 seasons (and took overtime to get there)......
  17. 14-0 & then they let the defense take over..... Same story week after week. Scoring points is anathema when it comes to the Bills. Anything over 21 is a result of the defense or will be a mistake. Exciting offensive football is not their style.
  18. He has strong hands and from what I saw in the preseason & CFL, there is no juggling, good body position and control & can take a hit. No reason he can't do well.
  19. This is the Bills MO & a lot of fans fall for it. 19 years of a loser mentality that no one can make a mistake. Would have neutered Favre, Rodgers, Elway, Brees, Mahomes, Watson & others with this coaching staff. Heck I was awfully proud of the coaching staff for having not wasted a timeout the first half. May have been a first!!!!?
  20. Absolutely right. There is separation and then there is good coaching to create those seams. Not seeing those from Daboll. Screens seldom called & not well executed when they are. Good on shovel passes, and maybe need more like that (or swing passes). The knock on Duke is he isn't fast, but he is a big target and sure handed. The TD pass was a great call I saw as soon as he lined up. Should be used more often.
  21. Yes the positives.... 1. A Win & 4-1 2. Allen is progressing (& yes I don't get caught up in college & drafts. All I want is for a top 7 pick to be a great player). 18 years without a legitimate QB (top half of the league) is a long time. 3. Defense is very good 4. Wanted to see the #1 receiver in the CFL in 2018 get a shot and produce, which he did. 5. Really like Brown too
  22. I like to be entertained, so yes I want 28+ points from the Offense on a regular basis. The Bills have beaten 0-4 Jets, 0-5 Bengals & two win teams NYG & Tennessee. I'm happy with the record, just not a fan that is satisfied with the offense & lack of scoring.
  23. Good review.... A few observations of my own. 1. I am a believer in this D, but can not play for 17-13 games, week after week. Bills got away with an obvious facemask that resulted in a missed fg. A TD called back too and they got other breaks, no if ands or buts. Tennessee receivers had drops too, reminiscent of Bills that I often complain needing to make that tough catch. At least 2-3 3rd & 3-5's where the receiver dropped a ball (albeit good D). 2. The int was on Yeldon, as JA is rolling that direction under pressure and he is running that way. You don't just stop. The slow motion replay posted conclusive imo. 3. Separation by receivers is still an issue. 4. Duke is a big body, which is exactly what is needed. The TD was so open and an easy play that should be there multiple times a game. Yes only 4 catches, but knew they were throwing to him and he was going to catch it. 5. Sorry but this team needs to score more and play calling still suspect. Can't take penalties on 3rd & 2 and create 3rd & 7. Never seems to be a call those yardages to make a first down. Usually JA needs to break containment or improvise. 6. Again 3rd quarter malaise.
