  1. How anyone can not blame Beasley for the int has a huge hate for Allen. Those pictures tell a 1000 words. As for the TD pass, how many times did we see receiver adjust for a ball or play it rig last year? Of course 3-4 drops too as is usual. Heck 250 yard passing too is a start.
  2. If you're a JA fan A, if indifferent probably a B/B+, and the ones who dislike him C-. Beasley 100% responsible for the interception & another drop (pros catch passes and don't let it bounce off their helmet). Ran the ball well and brought them back. Very few "bad" passes. A couple of bad passes too and an int called back. Loved that the Bills wanted to move the ball.
  3. Are they still thinking this is the 60's NFL? Again I pay little attention, but saw Allen in the third pre-season game throw all of 4 passes prior to the last drive of the half. Saw the Ringer & ESPN put the Offence at the bottom of the league (as in one of the 3 worst). Now McCoy cut and wondering whether the Bills will again think the game is all about field position & bleeding the clock.
  4. $48 million decoy. sure with the Bills fa money they can find a decoy at that price.
  5. 30 degrees..... wouldn't worry about hands. footing yes.
  6. And as expected, the Bills were near the bottom with their rrp play calling. Of course many here still think running the ball is the key to winning 14-10.
  7. And again as soon as it seemed TT was developing chemistry with Watkins they blew that up to start 2017........ Still concerned as to the Bills commitment to offense.
  8. Well then the Cowboys knew 70% of Seattle's plays as they were all runs and they did not take advantage or use Russell Wilson like they should.
  9. Seen very little & I think the stats bare it out. I hope he makes a huge jump in 2019, and then will come the question that seems to be the Bills bugaboo...... Paying players at skilled positions....
  10. I for one did not think Lamar was that good down the stretch during the regular season. A great defense and certainly very athletic and Baltimore took advantage of his skill set. He did not throw a whole lot or had a good completion %. The issue is when they had to rely on Lamar to win the game, or create offense they had no idea what to do. I compare him and the narrative to Allen and nothing but positive press for Lamar, while Josh still has many critics. When watching Lamar, his passing mechanics and throws just are not very good.
  11. No Rob was the reason the Bills weren't up 14+ and the game over well before the kick. The defense played as good a game as any in the last 20 years. McNair did almost nothing that game. Unfortunately Rob kept on giving them the ball back.
  12. Also noted that with Lamar, Baltimore seemed to employ a Buffalo Bills scheme whereby they expected every game to be close and rely on the defense. Hate that style of football.
  13. Interesting note. Flacco averaged 274/gm before his injury. Lamar played with the lead in every game and never trailed by more then one score. Also 204 yards was his most passing yard (included a 68 yard td on a 25 yard pass).
  14. Sorry lousy receivers, not catching the ball, drops, running first & second downs, setting up a third & 8, fumbling at the 5........ There was a lot that went wrong that game. Very simply the Bills need to draft & sign players (F's) that can help JA. Very few designed running plays or options, which is in stark contrast to Baltimore.
  15. The OL & terrible receivers in addition to no RB's (McCoy barely in the game) and on the road didn't help.
  16. Well I'd say Wade vs. Tennessee as Rob Johnson was trotted out over & over, but am convinced Ralph Wilson made that call. Was Lamar Peterman-bad? That is a leap for me to make. Baltimore's Defense was the only thing saving it from a blowout.
  17. http://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay?gameId=401038955 Not fair to blame Lamar, but they were atrocious (and can see how to defend Lamar Jackson). Watching Lamar it is apparent he needs a lot of work throwing the ball and will be interesting to see if he improves there. Right now I think his mechanics and skill is way behind JA. All of a sudden getting flashbacks to Rob Johnson vs. Tennessee.....
  18. Some garbage time yards but he was terrible.
  19. 6-10 folks and a putrid offence. Can't give a ringing endorsement. We'll see in FA & the draft their commitment to Josh and how bad they screwed that side of the ball. Also special teams, discipline in game decisions need to be much improved.
  20. It is a stupid argument. You need the ability to throw for 300 yards and the fact no one respects the Bills passing game since McD took over is embarrassing..... Again all I ask is that they show they can throw for 300 yards. Somehow we have people here thinking that it was a bad thing Darnold threw for 345 yards vs. GB (Radger threw for 422 and a stirring OT victory). How about Mayfield almost knocking Balt out of the playoffs, but it was a loss so the 375 yards means nothing. Of Mahomes losing to the Rams or NE with both Goff & Brady over 3000 too. Rothliesberger a fumble away from beating NO (Breez over 300 too), but that is a loss. Here are games that the Bills needed 300 yards to have a shot at winning in 2018..... Balt, NE x 2, Miami game 1, LAC, Chi, GB, Indy & NYJ. The only loss they had this year where the Bills did not need to throw for 300 to win was vs. Houston....... In every loss if they did throw for 300 heck they may have won a few more games.....
  21. Sorry I watched Galloway vs. The Bills do everything in my list above in that one game. That is one example and as said every game I watch I see great catches multiple times that not a single Bill made in 16 games. You're right that Zany is not a priority, but need a whole lot more from him, and yes my fingers are crossed.
  22. You can't be serious? He's a Bill & I hope for the best, but underwhelmed through 2 seasons. I'd like to see: 1. Hold on to catchable balls 2. Win a 50/50 battle 3. Crisper routes & cuts. 4. Separation All of which says right now he is below average on all accounts.....
  23. Okay let's look at it another way...... Playoff teams & 300 yard games..... KC - 10 NO - 6 Rams - 8 Chargers - 5 NE - 5 Indy - 7 Hou - 5 Dal - 2 Sea - 1 Bal - 2 Phil - 7 Chi - 4 Buffalo - 0 And then people bring up Atl or Pitt like it is a terrible thing that they have QB's that throw 300+ and unfortunately sometimes lose games...... The issue with Buffalo that is well documented is that if they trail by 10 points and the game is over because they can't throw or comeback. Now let's hope this changes in 2019
  24. Yes it is. Brees went 5-1 when he threw for 300..... I'd say it was pretty meaningful in almost every win. Show me how many wins where the QB threw for 300 it was not necessary and they were just padding stats..... It is about as dumb an argument as anyone can make that moving the football up and down the field via passing is a bad thing. So Big Ben threw for 380 and lost to NO...... Does that make the 380 useless? How about Mayfield week 17 vs. Baltimore. The reason they were in the game was because of his passing. Indy made the playoffs in large part to Luck beating the Giants 28-27 and Manning too threw for over 300, but that's a loss according to your stats (same week 17 as Prescott too threw for over 300). Rodgers & Darnold, Watson & Foles too...... https://www.footballdb.com/stats/300-yard-passing.html Yes Matt Ryan & the Falcons were lousy this year, but blame much of that on the Defense.
