  1. We heard the same about Nathan Peterman. What a useless tweet!!!
  2. That's what I said. Allen was not good. Daboll didn't help him and just a bad day (just like Brady). Can you imagine Allen throwing an Int at the goal line, as Brady did (& Barkley appeared to) and the response then? How about some screens or shovel passes too.
  3. Big Ben - 27-47 1 Int, 3 total points Miami - 18-39, 4 Ints Shutout NYJ - 12-22, 98 yards, 1 int, 0 points..... Allen made bad mistakes, threw some terrible passes too and looked like little separation and we know Zay can't adjust or fight for a ball (i.e. two ints). Maybe their defense is pretty good?
  4. If only Peterman was still around..... And of course who'll ever forget Rob Johnson?
  5. It was tongue in cheek. Barkley had 4 possessions & produced 0 points...... He's a good backup.
  6. I shudder to think that Allen would be on the next bus out of Buffalo. I already see 12 pages debating that Barkley gives the Bills the best chance to win.
  7. Has there been a Superbowl WInning or Losing team who did not throw for 300 yards in the regular season in the last 20 years. Yes just a #, but a pretty simple yardstick that I use. The Bills QB & Offensive situation has been so woeful that 250 yards is otherworldly. There are probably 15 QB's who when they throw for under 250 most think they had a bad game (or had a very easy blowout win)...... And trust me I'm a big fan of Allen and want to see him throw for big #'s. Sorry if I like an offense capable of 30+ points & 300+ passing yards.
  8. Again you just don't get it. If he didn't throw for 300 they don't have a chance..... Yes the Bills are 3-0, however over the 36 games they are 18-18...... Don't you think a 300 yard game may have won some for them (or a few games may have been an easier win)?
  9. But he threw for 300+ yards in his first game. Buffalo has gone 36 games (and it took OT), since they did that!!!!!??
  10. Funny that's what I saw the first time I watched the game!!!! Constant pressure, ducking out of & escaping sacks, making some great throws too. And yes a dumb decision or two.
  11. I am a huge Allen fan (he is a Bill after all). Can't compare Bradshaw & Favre's stats. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FavrBr00.htm
  12. Check his career stats..... Not impressive & only 3 pro bowls..... Can thank Chuck Noll for his career. Note bad stats early & indifferent later in career. And a different era. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BradTe00.htm
  13. Don't you understand the Bills & some on this board's mentality? Bills football is 17-13 wins and rely on the defense and any offense is a surprise.
  14. And I agree...... I just find it interesting and looking at it as a Bills fan that is not used to seeing competent QB play. Yes the 300 yard stat sticks in my craw and it is unfathomable that the Bills have gone so long without it and still at times don't seem to grasp it is a passing league. I still see the control the game between the 20's mentality. The lulls bother me as does the inability to play 4 quarters of offensive football (heck I'd take 3). Interesting no Lamar Jackson threads after getting beat soundly (though 183 yards in the 4th quarter).
  15. That my excitement level is so high watching Allen and wanting to see the Offense explode. Here are the QB Stats & not in one category is he in the top third. https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/player/_/table/passing/sort/passingYards/dir/desc I am really enjoying and cheering Josh Allen on, but want to see the offense do better, which yes I blame on coaching and not having better weapons.
  16. Another weapon & a 300 yard passing game would be really nice..... 31 300 yard games through week 3. 48 total QB games have thrown for more yards then Buffalo's best game of 254. 21, 17 & 28 points in the three games where the defense has played well. Again game management can only get you so far.
  17. And what is the Bills record those 36 games? .500 I think. Wouldn't 300 maybe help them to a few more wins? Heck 18 losses and not a 300 yard game. Pretty sure last one was vs. Miami Christmas Eve that the Bills lost in OT.
  18. And yes Josh did a remarkable job considering the O-line, which has been a concern for how many years now?
  19. Again missing the point. This is the offensive philosophy and again shows Bills fans have been down so long, the smallest glimmer of hope and they can't see the bigger issue. This team needs to show it can score more points & not be in life & death struggles vs. The Jets & Bengals.....
  20. How is that possible, when the next nearest was 11 games I think? 3-0 vs. teams 1-8 and wins, but certainly nothing convincing. Let those explain again that qb's & teams throwing for 300 means nothing and further explain how it is a meaningless stat. Daniel Jones in his first game did it (as did Kyler Murray). This is embarrassing...... Can the Bills get the monkey off their back?
  21. BTW anyone watch Lamar Jackson today? Stats look pretty so so (padded in the 4th) and saw a few hail mary/lame ducks that could have been intercepted.
  22. The O-line offered minimal protection. How many yards was he responsible after plays broker down?
  23. 7 QB hits, & he only took one sack. Buffalo had 3 qb hits & 2 sacks. Sorry o-line didn't do a great job of protecting and Josh made some great throws on the run. He extended plays, great runs and yep a terrible pick.... The pass to Knox was a great read and yes an extra 15 yards..... But otherwise it was all Allen.
