  1. Yes & one stupid play under immense pressure. And yet again bad mid-game adjustments..... Oh yea the game winning drive was all Allen..... But sure tell me otherwise.
  2. McD's offensive philosophy is to win 17-13, no 300 yard games and to control the clock & field position. Saw this as soon as the Bills had a 14 point lead on the Giants. Play not to lose, not win..... I expect Mahomes would be more a game manager here..... Please prove me wrong McD.
  3. They had already scored 21 points & threw for over 200 yards...... McD knows that is when to put on the brakes...... 21 points from the offense & moving the ball through the air is just not allowed if a Buffalo Bill. Now if the D was responsible for 14 of those points that would be a different story. Inexcusable and only to paraphrase Bruce Springsteen "like a dog that has been beat too much, you spend half your life just a covering up" that is a Bills' fan who is scared to let the offense impose it's will and score points & throw the football!!!!!
  4. Yes I keep searching and it is not just the fact it is batted, but if then intercepted, how does one view it. In the case of the Int Sunday, yes it is bad luck, but if balls are batted too often it is an issue.
  5. Interesting I can't find where there are stats on QB's and batted passes. I will freely admit that I want to see the Bills succeed with a high powered offense and Allen to be the engine (that's what a fan wants). So he had one int on a pass that Beasley miffed and another on a batted ball (yes and there could have been another two as well). Generally batted balls fall harmlessly to the ground, but tried to find stats on batted balls & QB's. Couldn't find any. I heard Kyler Murray had 5 week 1 and none were intercepted. This to me is an interesting stat and surprised I couldn't find it. Maybe there are other advanced QB stats such dropped Ints, balls thrown away, accuracy stats that also would be helpful in better assessing a QB's performance.
  6. You're right it didn't hit him between the 1 & the 0. If it did, we'd be debating he threw it too hard.....
  7. No it was an easy catch..... Middle of the field not going to get drilled looking at the qb..... Couldn't stand the announcers blaming Allen.
  8. No NFL receiver should drop that ball..... He's paid $10,000,000/yr because he is a sure handed possession receiver. But if you want to see Allen fail, then I guess it was his fault.....
  9. How anyone can not blame Beasley for the int has a huge hate for Allen. Those pictures tell a 1000 words. As for the TD pass, how many times did we see receiver adjust for a ball or play it rig last year? Of course 3-4 drops too as is usual. Heck 250 yard passing too is a start.
  10. If you're a JA fan A, if indifferent probably a B/B+, and the ones who dislike him C-. Beasley 100% responsible for the interception & another drop (pros catch passes and don't let it bounce off their helmet). Ran the ball well and brought them back. Very few "bad" passes. A couple of bad passes too and an int called back. Loved that the Bills wanted to move the ball.
  11. Are they still thinking this is the 60's NFL? Again I pay little attention, but saw Allen in the third pre-season game throw all of 4 passes prior to the last drive of the half. Saw the Ringer & ESPN put the Offence at the bottom of the league (as in one of the 3 worst). Now McCoy cut and wondering whether the Bills will again think the game is all about field position & bleeding the clock.
  12. $48 million decoy. sure with the Bills fa money they can find a decoy at that price.
  13. And as expected, the Bills were near the bottom with their rrp play calling. Of course many here still think running the ball is the key to winning 14-10.
  14. And again as soon as it seemed TT was developing chemistry with Watkins they blew that up to start 2017........ Still concerned as to the Bills commitment to offense.
  15. Well then the Cowboys knew 70% of Seattle's plays as they were all runs and they did not take advantage or use Russell Wilson like they should.
  16. Seen very little & I think the stats bare it out. I hope he makes a huge jump in 2019, and then will come the question that seems to be the Bills bugaboo...... Paying players at skilled positions....
  17. I for one did not think Lamar was that good down the stretch during the regular season. A great defense and certainly very athletic and Baltimore took advantage of his skill set. He did not throw a whole lot or had a good completion %. The issue is when they had to rely on Lamar to win the game, or create offense they had no idea what to do. I compare him and the narrative to Allen and nothing but positive press for Lamar, while Josh still has many critics. When watching Lamar, his passing mechanics and throws just are not very good.
  18. No Rob was the reason the Bills weren't up 14+ and the game over well before the kick. The defense played as good a game as any in the last 20 years. McNair did almost nothing that game. Unfortunately Rob kept on giving them the ball back.
  19. Also noted that with Lamar, Baltimore seemed to employ a Buffalo Bills scheme whereby they expected every game to be close and rely on the defense. Hate that style of football.
  20. Interesting note. Flacco averaged 274/gm before his injury. Lamar played with the lead in every game and never trailed by more then one score. Also 204 yards was his most passing yard (included a 68 yard td on a 25 yard pass).
  21. Sorry lousy receivers, not catching the ball, drops, running first & second downs, setting up a third & 8, fumbling at the 5........ There was a lot that went wrong that game. Very simply the Bills need to draft & sign players (F's) that can help JA. Very few designed running plays or options, which is in stark contrast to Baltimore.
  22. The OL & terrible receivers in addition to no RB's (McCoy barely in the game) and on the road didn't help.
  23. Well I'd say Wade vs. Tennessee as Rob Johnson was trotted out over & over, but am convinced Ralph Wilson made that call. Was Lamar Peterman-bad? That is a leap for me to make. Baltimore's Defense was the only thing saving it from a blowout.
