  1. White and Elam could be the best pair of cornerbacks the Bills have ever had. Beane continues to improve a team that was 13 seconds away from back-to-back AFC championship games. And that's not an easy task.
  2. The draft is Jet fans' Super Bowl. Remember how excited they got last year when they drafted that 12 year-old from an Olivia Newton-John workout video to be their "QB?" That was adorable.
  3. Throwing away a puck anywhere but a hockey game does make no sense.
  4. Good point. So the Bills shouldn't sign AB OR hire Bruce Arians.
  5. Sex crimes are the most under-prosecuted crimes in the justice system, especially when the suspect is rich or famous.
  6. Depends on the motivation of the DA. Is the DA willing to press a case against a wealthy, famous public figure? DA is an elected position. Does the DA press a case against a popular suspect if the DA believes it will impact his chance to get re-elected. Bill Cosby and Jeffrey Epstein avoided indictment for years because of under-motivated DAs. Anyway, the structure of the Watson's contract shows the the Browns are perfectly fine with Watson even if he is guilty of sexual assault. They've protected him if he gets suspended this year by agreeing to pay him only one million dollars this season, and guaranteed his contract so he can pay off all his current (and future) victims. So the Browns might or might not have brought a sexual predator into the Cleveland area, but even if proves out that they did, they appear perfectly fine with it.
  7. Sure, I mean who isn't walking around with 22 sexual assault civil cases filed against him.
  8. Gotta wonder if the NFL should revoke the Jags license to football.
  9. The Rooney rule isn't about 'giving' a minority person a job. The rule doesn't mandate the hiring of anyone. It mandates only that teams interview a minority candidate, and ends there. It's a small accommodation that could greatly benefit teams and candidates who take advantage of the opportunity.
  10. Yeah, I think there's changes that need to be made in his approach and staff. I kind of see him in the same spot as Levy after the Browns wildcard loss. Up until that game the Bills won a couple of division titles, lost in the AFC championship game, but were still a conservative team. They fell behind big time in that wildcard game, and resorted to using the no-huddle hurry up. They fell just short, but switched to the no-huddle full-time the next year. McDermott is kind of in the same place now. He's got a lot of good and even great things going, but he needs to fine tune and maximize those things, and abandon the things that aren't working.
  11. And both those coaches were fired, and the teams that fired them won the Super Bowl without them. In Dungy's case, his replacement won it. Not saying McDermott should be fired, but his game management definitely needs to improve. It's not unhead off for teams to fire a coach who plateaus short of the Super Bowl. Other teams have done it, and have been rewarded for doing so.
  12. We all saw what Allen did in week 5. We also witnessed the heater Allen was on coming into this game. So can somebody explain to me why the hell the Bills ran so many plays out of a double back set? And what was with the dump offs early in the game? Those plays were designed to have the flat be the first read. Allen's fourth quarter can only leave us imaging what would the result have been if he were allowed to throw deep the first 3 quarters. It was almost as if someone was trying to prove to the Giants that he can run a smash mouth offense.🤔
  13. Allen had the best post season for a QB in franchise history, and he only played 2 games. If the Bills squibed the last kickoff and/or played a defense better suited to the situation of 13 seconds left in the game, he be on his way to playing the best postseason for a QB in league history. He's the real deal. Hopefully this franchise can pull things together to better support him moving forward, because, if not, his career will end up like Dan Marino's instead of Joe Montana's.
  14. Tennessee robbed the NFL of the Houston Oilers, which led to the Houston Texans. Those crimes against the league should result an infinity's worth of bad karma for those fans.
  15. How could it have been better? This might be the best performance from an NFL offense period.
  16. He's getting some medical advice from Joe Rogan over Zoom.
  17. The whole jet sweep game is missing. Bills can't pound the ball but last season they kept teams off balance with WR runs. Those would have helped today.
  18. I'm going to be at the game. Should I expect the stadium to be overrun by demigorgons if this happens?
  19. Classless? Why weren't the Dolphins LETTING the Bills score there? They were down 9 (two scores) with no times outs. Letting the Bills score as quickly as possible keeps them within two scores (16) and saves them clock. Nobody is accusing Dolphin fans or media of being smart (they're not), but the only way for them to have a shot at that point of the game was letting the Bills score as quickly as possible.
  20. It's a well-known fact that 85% of stories people tell about their grandmothers end in violence.
  21. Collinsworth came up with a narrative before the game started, and then tried to fit his call of the game to that narrative. He obviously saw the Chiefs as some kind of sleeping giant who was going to flip some switch to take down the overmatched Bills. Mahomes and Reid weren't a couple of guys who can't figure out the Tampa 2 defense, they were unstoppable geniuses who only needed a couple of plays to figure out this pesky defense. He even chided the Bills for not blitzing. Defensively you would have thought that the Chiefs were thr 85 Bears instead of one of the worst units in the League this year. Collinsworth pulled his script from last year, completely missing the fact that the Bills were playing better football than KC this year. They even played that stupid graphic claiming the Bills haven't beaten any good QBs this year, missing the fact that the Bills didn't just beat those QBs, they annihilated them. Collinsworth approach was bad because it was formulaic, tired, and lazy. You wonder if he actually has followed what has been going on in the league this season.
  22. Right now, it's crystal clear why Beane did what he did in the draft this year. The guy is just phenomenal.
