  1. Kincaid won't be replacing these guys. He'll be replacing Crowder and McKenzie (and a quarter of a season of Beasley). The Bills mid level passing game was terrible last season. Kincaid helps fix this.
  2. Patriots have emphasized TEs in their offense for years. Outside of Gronk, the rest of these guys have either murdered someone or faded into oblivion. I mean, Hunter Henry and Jonu Smith really turned that franchise around, right? At least we get to have fun watching this goofball frustrate the hell out of Belichick this season.
  3. If Carr is a capable vet, the Raiders wouldn't have cut ties with him. He had Adams and Jacobs last season along with a coach who won Super Bowls as an OC and missed the playoffs. He's not doing better with Nate Hackett as his OC. Nate Hackett who bombed with Russell Wilson (a way better QB than Carr) as his QB. The Jets did nothing with the 3rd overall pick as their QB. They did nothing with the 2nd overall pick as their QB. And they're not going to fix their ineptitude with Nate Hackett and a journeyman QB. At best, Hackett/Carr is a rehash of Gase/Flacco.
  4. The Jets finished six games behind Buffalo last season. Derek Carr playing in a Nate Hackett offense isn't closing that gap.
  5. If it's Frazier, then McDermott needs to address it. But McDermott seems to be in perfect agreement running a base Nickle defense with few blitzes that gets steamrolled in the playoffs.
  6. Bills defense has given up 93 points the last 3 playoff games. There needs to be accountability for that, and it needs to start with coaching. However that plays out remains to be seen, but without accountability this team will not win a Super Bowl.
  7. Jets might want to check this again; they might have actually hired him without realizing it.
  8. Can they win a game in December?
  9. Chiefs are the 3rd best team in the AFC. Their division is surprisingly weak this year, which causes their record to be devoid of marquee wins.
  10. Home or away, the Bills are beating the Chiefs next time they play.
  11. It was the right play call, but it was made m3 nervous. Giving up the sure points for a field goal try in weather is a gamble, even with th odds in the Bills favor. In any event, they cut to shots of Tua sitting on the bench, all bundled up during the drive. It looked like going back into the game was the last thing he wanted to do.
  12. Even if the Bills played in a dome the Browns game would have still been moved. Imagine that, spending an extra $800M of taxpayers dollars on a dome and they still move the f###ing game.
  13. Sullivan isn't poster, he's a paid journalist, who holds himself in high regard. And people don't hate Sullivan because he says mean things about the Bills. They dislike him because he is lazy and sloppy in his work. Take that question to Allen about not looking like a Super Bowl offense after the Jets game. The question ignores the obvious fact that the Super Bowl is two months away. It ignores that the Jets probably have the best defense the Bills will face this season. It ignores history, where the Bills offense struggled in December last season against Carolina and Atlanta, but still lit it up in the playoffs. It wasn't a well researched question. It was a trolling question meant to rub Allen's face in expectations when he didn't perform as well as Sullivan (who knew nothing about the Bills gameplan) thought he should have performed. It was a question wrapped in an insult, and Allen expertly and deftly answered to avoid being caught up in Sullivan's energy-vampire shtick. Turn to Sullivan appearing on that low-rent podcast. Sullivan is asked a question that he considers insulting. Unlike Allen, who refused to take the bait when asked an insulting question, Sullivan (the media professional) jumps in whole hog. The question was posed by a person named Amy. Does Sullivan dismiss the question by saying, sorry you feel that way Amy? No. Does he try to give insight to his journalistic methods? No. Does he treat Amy as an individual? No. In response to a question/comment criticizing him, Sullivan attacks ALL WOMEN. He doesn't justify his critical journalism methods (you know, why it's important to ask athletes if they believe they embarassed themselves), he instead identifies the problem is with women. So to answer your question why people hate Jerry, Jerry would answer that the reason is women be cheerleaders who don't understand journalism. But the truth is people dislike Sullivan because he is sloppy and lazy and tries to shock rather than inform. And this recent incident indicates that he is misogynistic, arrogant, hypocritical, and lacks self awareness. These are are traits that hurt his claim of being a serious, critical sports journalist.
  14. Beasley is going to be a package player. The Bills have struggled against 2 deep coverages and that's where Beasley excels. If he's still got gas in the tank, he'll play against teams when they drop coverage. McKenzie will go back to playing against man coverages, and Shakir will continue to be a rookie on a 10-3, Super Bowl contending team. Not every move is a zero-sum game.
  15. Bills are 9-2 in regular season Dec and Jan games the last two seasons. Why do we need to remember anything about the Patriots?
  16. The Bills are 7-1 in post-Thanksgiving home games the last two seasons and 3-0 in home playoff games. But yeah, no home field advantage.
  17. Given that McDermott is going to try to stop Cleveland's running game with his nickle defense, I tend to believe you.
  18. At the beginning of the season, the passing game went low to high and had a bunch of success. When they went deep, it was set up by the previous play calls. During the Pittsburgh and KC game, Allen had success forcing the ball deep, but it planted the seeds of some bad habits. Against the Packers, Jets, and Vikings, there was a shift where Allen's locking onto the deeper throws, abandoning the shorter ones. This is easily fixable with film study and game planning. Just revisit what worked the first few games. It's mind boggling that the coaching staff hasn't addressed this by now. But it's also mind boggling how a defense that plays nickle the entire game can't figure out how to double-team a receiver.
