  1. Steelers reign as a perennial contender is OVER. Their retirement party kicks off Sunday!
  2. Very obvious reason at play here.. Daily testing costs a boatload of money. Not doing daily testing places the paycheck risk and all the pressure back on the unvaccinated players.
  3. The only point worth making is the Bills have the most veteran qb in the division. So that's good for Buffalo. The point you might have missed, is that getting excited by win% v rookie qbs, is equivilent to getting excited over touchdown passes v the practice squad.
  4. I'm assuming the original poster is an 8 year old, or could have some kind of alcohol abuse problem, so be nice guys.
  5. What's the all time stat for any coach? I'd imagine this is not unusual for good teams/coaches.. This is one of those lame media stats that gets overplayed because broadcast booths have nothing noteworthy to talk about.
  6. Good point here, didn't even think of that aspect. Did make me think, it'll hopefully be fun one day looking back at all maybe all the recievers that Josh Allen turns into pro-bowlers/hall of famers.
  7. Game flow purposes only. 1-2 possessions assuming all goes well. You just want to get him some reps organizing the offense, looking at a play clock, taking some snaps. They can go 3 and out and that's fine, just want to get a dress rehearsal in.
  8. So you think it's pretty much coming down to who can add to the team this season opposed to losing your higher ceiling guy? I guess I wouldn't go against that argument based on what I've perceived from this coaching staff.
  9. Raiders: "BUT PLEASE DON'T LET THIS LEAK! Bears: (someone looks dumber than us right now) Bears: "No you're definitely not on speaker phone."
  10. Objectively, we're talking about the 6th receiver on the team. How many balls this year will be thrown to the #6 receiver? Probably not too many, and whoever this player is, will probably not be the sole difference to a single W or L this upcoming season. For that reason... you keep whoever you think has the higher potential, and you live with seeing Kumorow in a different uniform.
  11. Hindsight was paying out contracts before learning if people would be willing to vaccinate. You can be the most talented OL in the world, but if you get a moderate case of Covid, you're very feasibly months away from getting back into shape.
  12. How is this a thread? "I feel upset about the media not saying exactly what I want them to say"...
  13. Not sure what universe people think we exist in. I don't see anything possibly working out before the legal situation is resolved.
  14. So the Saints ignored/ forgot about a $40million asset for 6 months.. If true, the Saints head office might be even dumber than Michael Thomas...
  15. You can never predict exactly what position will be the most banged up come playoff time.. I will say, the improvement that is needed would be better O-line run blocking and better TE production. I wouldn't look at the AFC championship game outcome and come to the conclusion that more WRs is the fix.
  16. I gotta believe that if you test positive you're going to be under whatever protocol regardless of vaccination status. But only 'unvaccinated' players require daily testing.
  17. If I'm an NFL team, I'm paying players as much money as it takes to take the vaccine. Cost of losing a key player(s) during a critical game would be way more.
  18. Our defensive game plan over the past two years is as follows: "Don't get outsmarted" We haven't had the level of D-line talent to enforce our will. Career years coming up for many of our guys this season!
  19. Thanks for the warning. No need to watch if the consensus these guys came up with was qb play as the major difference.. They must read a lot of ESPN articles.
  20. I think it's a safe assumption that there is more than one gay player in the NFL today. Why do you think he might have been hesitant to come out?
  21. Our scheme and D seem to match up incredibly well vs Baltimore. Don't get me wrong, I think our coaches are best in the business. I think this team has one of the most ridiculously high ceilings imaginable. I keep saying this team overachieved last year based on the talent level on D, but I mean that in the best and most optimistic way possible. Shore up the defense, and watch this team become unstoppable.
