I don’t believe the Chiefs are too worried about directional punting.. just Boom it out of the Endzone.

I think the reason that this is news is that the Chiefs are at the top and it doesn’t seem like they plan on giving up the reign anytime soon. Every move they make is an attempt to stay ahead of well everyone else.. I am not saying all their moves work out. But we know they got a Punter who can boom the ball. Will probably be considerably less than resigning their previous punter. They signed a guy who we kicked to the dirt. The icing on the cake for me would be a mock draft that I just saw where first pick we take an Edge, and the Chiefs take.. you guessed it a Wr. I think they have a better vision than us to reach a title or our vision is sound but something keeps holding us back.

Pretty much that’s it. We remember the Crazy game in Kc.. my mind blanks out everything inbetween. This season Gabe and Allen just didn’t connect. I do wish him well.

Today on Adam Schein, Nick Wright was a Guest and he made some good points even though I can’t stand the guy. The Chiefs despite their Wr struggles showed the signs of why they are right back in the SuperBowl. 3 things A very dominant Defense for much of the season. The head coach who is arguably the best in Football right now And Mahomes Not to mention they have gotten younger at certain positions, haven’t had to go all in on bad contracts and been retooling the team because they know at Playoff time Mahomes will be playing his best football. So take us, how many of the above 3 would you feel 100 percent good about. I think we have 1. 1)Josh - yes 2)Coach-? 3) D-? Good but not great. 2 and 3 need to be way better to win a Super Bowl. Acttally I know injuries took a toll and really not reflective how good our d could have been.

I was over this loss pretty quick. We battled hard and most friends who I talk too really just enjoyed the game. Basically agreed that we need another Wr. I also have just realized more than ever How good Mahomes and The Chiefs are and appreciate that. There is a reason Mahomes is being talked about in the Brady stratosphere. For one season though I’d like to see us making a run relatively healthy and not missing Milano and Bernard.

The Teams that hit on playmakers are going to win more often than not. I’ve seen like one real game breaker on D this playoffs and he plays for the Chiefs.

Lions have so bought into Dan Campbell. Last year you really didn’t want to play them, this season they are that good where you need to bring your A game to beat them.

Swift didn’t need to play the SuperBowl Halftime show because she is bigger. Now the NFL will get her and all her new young Chiefs fans for free. Maybe the best thing would be for Mahomes to win the Sb and Kelce and Reid to Retire?

I am ok with this but let Brady install his Offense. I also hope that Brady is banging the drum for some Playmaking Wr. I think a lot of what we saw in running the ball was the realization that everyone could see.. our Wr room is not good enough. I think he does have a better feel for the game than Dorsey did by seeing our shortcoming. He was also willing to adapt plays from other teams that had success. Lets just hope Mcd is hands off with him. Mcd needs to worry about his side of the ball if they are going to investing in his D.

If your Pegula who doesn’t seem to shy away from spending to the limit with this Roster, have arguably the most exciting talent at Qb, knocking on the door year after year but falling short , don’t you think Terry probably could bring the best coach available in? But if he truly views Mcd as Family then it will never be easy to get rid of him. I actually think Mcd hears the noise but quietly smirks at how well him and Terry get along.. that their relationship is stronger than we think. I know Mcd intentions are good and true in scraping every avenue to bring a Super Bowl. He says it every year. But what is his vision going forward to get us over the hump? How will Beane and Him change their approach? If he continues to need to invest heavily in Defense before Offense than we are probably screwed. If they want to bargain shop Receivers again we are probably screwed: Is he is willing to let Josh be Josh? Go all in on surrounding him with talent however aggressive they need to be and let the Offensive coordinator do his thing. I read an article in the Athletic that the Chiefs got 5 years younger than us. Older roster much easier to predict injuries to them. We also like to run a D based on Speed so our Lb are quite small. Is this contributing to more injuries as well.. I don’t know. Thought it was an interesting correlation. Did guys come away from his press conference thinking that Brady is a shoe in for the Coordinator job? I kinda felt the opposite or maybe just not really tipping their hand. Should we be looking outside the organization for a new approach or give Brady a chance to install his Offense?

This game is what separates Allen and Mahomes, from like the next tier of Qbs!

This. I thought Mahomes was pretty composed last night for the most part. Could be, that they had an extra week off to prepare but to me it looks like he is mentally ready to make a playoff run.
