  1. You’re right. It was the #1. It fell into the mid 20’s. Sometimes it’s the players but more often than not it’s the coaches. Better be electronic. You tried reading the lines on the piston gauge during a snow storm? F that!
  2. GO BILLS! On a side note, the greeny video is a very good take on the MVP consideration. Even sweeter coming from a Jets fan lol
  3. As much as I don’t want them to play Cincinnati it’s a very fair point. They will have to beat the best to be the best. Pretty simple. Even simpler when Josh plays like he is capable of, the best in football.
  4. I understand that. I wasn’t suggesting they were. It was a hypothetical about the rumors being false. we’ve seen stories where the opposite narrative comes to fruition many times in sports before.
  5. Nah dude. Not you. Just in general. I remember seeing this or something very similar from McCoy/Edelman on a podcast.
  6. Damn. This is like a year old, no? I vividly remember seeing Shady on his podcast saying this ages ago.
  7. Meh. Could have done better than Toohill and Clap if I’m honest. We know what we have in both of those players. One of the few times im actually disappointed with their roster selections.
  8. Shanny and Taylor, I would think, absolutely get another HC gig if they get fired. Especially if the projected 7 open up. Right now it’s 3.
  9. They really don’t want Wentz to botch the 1 seed. Oh wait…
  10. I saw that and given it being the first response he must have overlooked it. A sentenced post is what I figured best for him. Hence the ellipsis.
  11. Good question. If the rumors are false about Daboll & McD then if he gets canned in NY, which I doubt, I wouldn’t put it past him returning. Realistically that’s a tough call. Maybe they promote within and give Lubrick a shot? He’s been on the team since Sean’s arrival. Personally, I wouldn’t be opposed to Klint Kubiak if he isn’t retained by the new HC in NOLA. Ben Johnson, the ultimate hope, is a pipe dream.
  12. Probably the same as that other thread that was on its way to 100 pages before trade deadline…
  13. There’s a few in the practice squad that I’d like to see. Cine and the combination of his time at Georgia and a very recent first rounder that’s been given up on. The other guys are Logue, Hardy and Gore Jr.
  14. Well he’s been healthy the past 2 years. 100% he played in all the games for 2024. Great run defender and relentless effort. The numbers aren’t eye popping elite but his best games this year did come against the better teams on the RBacks schedule
  15. I don’t disagree but I do feel those 3 would easily put up 1100 yards, 40 receptions and 400 receiving yards in todays game. Lynch>Henry>Cook>McGahee Henry had his best year as a receiver in tandem with his rushing high, 2002. Marshawn would easily thrive. He’s not far removed. That dude was no slouch as a receiver. Especially during that 3 year prime Seattle had during their NFCC and back to back super bowls. Now while I don’t think they’d excell as much in the passing game as cook, you give them 6 man fronts like Cook and the guys see regularly because of Josh? Those guys would eat. Handsomely too. Again, I like cook. A lot. But having Josh in comparison to Bledsoe/Van Pelt/Johnson/Losman/Edwards that the others had is rough. Literal difference between night and day.
  16. lmao that’s a rough argument though my friend. None of those backs had a guy like Josh where you worry about the pass. The best was probably Travis when he had Bledsoe but Bledsoe was on the downward trend of his career. His first year with the aging Moulds and Peerless was it. Put Cook on those teams and he isn’t as productive. Certainly not to the tune of 1400 yards that Henry was. Don’t think he puts up the same numbers as the other guys either. Close but he’s not replicating his in an era with no real QB threat and punishing tackling. I like cook, a lot. But you can’t compare the situations given who the QBs were and Josh.
  17. Crash Half Full. Never heard of it? Yeah, me neither.
  18. “If Dion Dawkins is free… if Dion Dawkins is free… if Dion Dawkins is free…” Is he free?!? Seriously thought it was skipping or glitching out. Clicked on the video and was getting something out of the desk drawer when he started that part 😂
  19. Someone at work made a statement when we were watching the Michigan/Bama game. Now, not verbatim but it went something along the lines of: Mahomes is no longer head and shoulders above the other guys in the league; Allen/Jackson/Burrow/Hurts (lol@hurts). He had one of the best peaks you’ll see at the footbal position (‘18-‘22) but has come back to “normal”. Whilst I don’t agree with it entirely, I do feel his point about those 5 years were incredible. It was Pat and everyone else. Josh was the only one close. I’ll give it another year before agreeing with the rest as he’s barely in the prime of his career but looking at this year and last year, super bowls removed, he’s not exactly TB12 territory where he’s taking subpar players and elevating the offense to insane proportions. The only guy I’ve seen do that on Brady levels was Cam Newton, love him or hate him, on that Super Bowl 50 run. It was Greg Olsen and pretty much nothing else to throw to. Ted Ginn, Cotchery, Funchess & Corey Brown. Yeesh. These last two season the Chiefs have had great, not elite, play by Mahomes. The difference is the defense has made it easier for them in crunch time situations. Can you lean on Mahomes? Absolutely. He’s still one of, if not the best to play the game right now but winning another, record setting, Super Bowl will be an absolute team effort from the Chiefs; as it is any team. The Bills? Josh has taken a backseat by design in comparison to other years. That’s the difference. The other one being if we get a Lombardi I hate to say it but it will be a likely be an effort by Josh and the Bills.
  20. This should be the game day 48 and rotation. Great job brother!
  21. Think you might be right. However, Hamlin is still the better player right now. Not as gifted physically as Cole but he certainly doesn’t appear to have the mental lapses that Bishop does. That could be the difference between going home or making the Super Bowl. All it takes is one busted play. Personally, I have no problem with either dude playing as you can advocate reasons for and against each.
  22. Im not a huge fan and feel that team isn’t that great collectively. They have some solid players across the board on both sides of the field but it doesn’t seem to come together like years past. I’d rather skip them than any other team. If they get their ground game rolling, you’re in trouble more than Lamar & the Raven and like @Warriorspikes51 said above, if their defense has a good game it might seal the deal. In terms of passing, Burrow is in elite territory. Partly because he’s had to be but the execution still has to take place. I’d pick Josh and the gang over any team but opponent wise, Cinci and Baltimore are a no thanks. Ironically, we may have to play them both lol
  23. Yardage so far: OSU: 390 Oregon: 64 Thats f-ing absurd lol
  24. The Jackson kid from Arkansas is a monster of a human being. Groot size but way more polished rusher. If not him Scourton or his counterpart @ A&M, Stewart, wouldn’t be a bad choice. For where it stands right now they’re the guys that are higher talent available at our pick.
  25. Seems they matched the uniforms to the on field play ahead of time. That’s quite impressive if I do say so myself lol
