  1. Yeah man. I thought the same thing. The moment Adullah doesn’t get out of bounds, you play for the FG. You can’t stop the clock. 1) Why aim to rush the kicker after running a play? 2) why even run a play at all with 15 seconds left? Im telling you man, like the other post, this is why this game reeks of suspicious calls or events in a game. Especially when it’s the new icon/poster boy for the league and his team. Absolutely mind blown there how they’re walking away with a win as a result of a turnover via fumble.
  2. And this is exactly why people believe the game is scripted.
  3. When my brother in-law, who isn’t even a casual football fan, looked at all of us (my father in-law, son and soon to be brother in-law) confused and concerned about the end of the Lions/Bears game it had to be a move Chicago made. Confusing complete novices to the sport about game/clock management is bottom of the barrel coaching.
  4. It’s ok. We’ll gang up on them like they do for tackling. No one, fan or player, misses a hit; observation or tackle.
  5. https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/nfl-rulebook/ Cant see anything that appertains to the exact time frame for cancellation/rescheduling but I’d presume Thursday, 72 hours prior. If not, definitley at least 48. Rule 17, section 1. “Article 6 If, because of an emergency, a regular-season or postseason game is not started at its scheduled time and cannot be played at any later time that same day, the game nevertheless must be played on a subsequent date to be determined by the Commissioner” “Article 9 In instances under these emergency procedures which require the Commissioner to reschedule a regular-season game, he will make every effort to set the game for no later than two days after its originally scheduled date, and he will attempt to schedule the game at its original site. If unable to do so, he will schedule it at the nearest available facility. If it is impossible to schedule the game within two days after its original date, the Commissioner will attempt to schedule it on the Tuesday of the next calendar week in which the two involved clubs play other clubs (or each other). Further, the Commissioner will keep in mind the potential for competitive inequities if one or both of the involved clubs has already been scheduled for a game following the Tuesday of that week (e.g., Thanksgiving).”
  6. Great listen. Always proud to have Fitz as part of our history as the guy truly does get the team, its fans and the representation of Buffalo.
  7. Yeah, Phillips is a good shout but Jefferson would be my guess.
  8. I believe the bye week he was eligible to return so I’d hope this weekend is a strong possibility.
  9. Possibly. It’s only the past couple of seasons for sure so you’re probably spot on with that estimation.
  10. Whilst I was always more inclined for the Barry Sanders “act like you’ve been there before” TD celebration, I do miss the antics some of those guys did with props etc prior to it becoming an “unsportsmanlike” penalty and then being pretty much only allowed if it’s a quick dance or a team celebration. The fact that the whole defensive unit runs the length of the field to the EZ cameras to celebrate is also a real head scratcher.
  11. Um, we didn’t have a 1st rounder in 2020 and our 1st rounder this year is technically Keon Coleman. You’re also missing Tremaine Edmunds. So including Josh’s draft year there’s been 6, technically 7 if you allocate Keon, first rounders. Every single one has seen significant roles or time on the field with the exception on Elam. I get your point being rounds in total and not by draft but only a small percentage of first rounders are mainstays in the league and most who are resign with the drafting team or are overpaid by another who’s less successful with hitting those same draft picks. So Buffalo, by that metric are in a good spot. They’ve hit the majority of guys they draft in that first round and don’t throw the bank at first rounders who move on from their team, outwith Von; whom you didn’t mention.
  12. Given the way contracts are for QBs, what they ended up paying him and what would have been the salary for his fifth year option, they should have picked it up and have him play it out instead of putting Al their stock on even more hope he morphs into a top player at his position.
  13. Russell was over drafted, I put him in a separate class given he didn’t even play out his rookie contract.
  14. Im in the opposite camp. I actually give them credit for a completely bullish move on from Jones and the failings. Probably their best chance to show the Mara/Tisch ownership they made an egregious mistake hitching their wagon to the QB. Hopefully it comes out as to whom, ownership or Daboll/Schoen, was responsible for handing him that contract.
  15. Tomlin didn’t miss a fg, fumble the football, fail two 4th down conversions and absolute shank a punt that only went 15 yards. Coaches take the flak way too much. The Steelers players lost this one themselves.
  16. Yeah man. Im a huge fan of the talent but the more I see of Pittsburgh, the more I see him seemingly whining and complaining when the camera is on him.
  17. Pickens always screaming for a flag when incomplete. SMH.
  18. Why the F are they slinging it every down?!? 😂
  19. That could have been a TD had Fields believed in the block.
  20. Wonder if the players enjoy it. Probably not. But back in HS, playing football in this weather was awesome. You knew you could get some hits as a defender.
  21. BURGLEROOSKI!!!
  22. Feel bad for the dude but this feels more like obvious damage control to show the next team or any potential suitor that he’s a “team first” guy. Which I’m in no doubt he is. Watched the whole 10 minute conference he had its pretty definitive he’s been told his time is well and truly finished in New York. There’s talent there, just not enough to warrant the contract he got and continue to have patience for it to materialize on that team.
  23. Joe Burrow, Josh and Lamar. That’s who it is right now. If Joe wins then last year was an absolute sham because then statistics and not win total play a part. Something Josh bet Lamar in by a landslide.
