Surprised Josh walked away after getting his beans spilt all over the 50 yard line of M&T. Absolutely the nail in our coffin that game. Pressure would have been on Baltimore big time. Do they rise to the occasion with the way they were playing? Who knows. The missed fg drive evaporated all false hope. Kyle Van Noy was a monster for them that game. Lol They were questioning his ability after Baltimore and then sh—ing all over him after the Houston game (rightly so). Theres a handful of guys out there who are truly impartial and offer a solid perspective of the game. No surprise they are ex players and coaches.

Every team has some delusional supporters in their fan base but these Chiefs really are morphing into Patriot-esque territory. What were they saying when the Broncos line gave them the whole left side for a block? What did they feel about getting a suspect flag for a win against Cinci? What were their thoughts about narrowly walking away with a win on opening night via a literal toe? How did they feel about needing the Raiders to have a tumble turnover and failed downs on back to back drives so they could secure a 2 score lead, narrowly walking away with another win? That fan base was pretty chill when they had Marty coaching all the way until the Mahomes/Reid combo. Weird how it did a complete 180 when Mahomes was anointed the GOAT QB.

I absolutely loved it personally. Were able to see what this team is really all about when the season is on the line amid adversity.

Wild take but I’d like them to do better at acquiring a backup QB with actual talent in spot fill. Now I know this will irk some but Josh is still a mad man at actively heading towards contact and there’s a litany of events where players don’t take it easy on bringing him down like they do Mahomes, Lamar or some of the other QBs out there. The minute Josh goes down we are screwed. Need someone of even a little quality. Pass rusher and Safety is again probably the only other needs.

Thought about that many a times when reading the Milano thread. Williams has played well and I hope he sees the field but this team plays nickel pretty much exclusively and there’s only room for 2 linebackers in that personnel. Milano, when 100% is head and shoulders above Williams.

The question becomes, who do they take? The draft is always a crap shoot on QBs. We’ve seen it a lot over history for that position. This year there is going to be a few talented guys. Tough to decide who is going to develop the best. Cam Ward, Shadeur Sanders, Jalen Milroe, Quinn Ewers? Maybe they even trade out of the top pick if they land it and grab a guy in the day 2 or 3 in Carson Beck, Drew Allan, Jaxson Dart or Garrett Nussmier?
