  1. You’ve said it perfectly. Memphis is the way I usually go. Like the dry rub better as, like you said, it lets you showcase the meat and the smoke better. I try to always add sauces on the side or do 50/50; half the racks completely dry, the others finished with wet. Only for the other point you stated, it is indeed not for everyone lol Cherry wood is great, it’s become a staple in my smoking over the years. Absolutely one of the best for chicken and pork imo. With pork I like a 60/40 mix, cherry to apple or 50/50 cherry/pecan. chicken, my neighbor put me into a Red Oak & Hickory blend. Very interesting. Maple and Hickory blend was my go to for several years. Do you use just straight cherrywood or do you opt for a blend?
  2. I’ll always give credit to Darnold for turning his career around but man… every time I watch these Vikings Jefferson and Addison are making repeated outrageous catches on some horrid throws he’s putting out there.
  3. I actually didn’t mind Morrow. Don’t think he’s great by any means but a decent player for depth. He was pretty good for Oakland in spot duty and reviewing the stats, his time in Chicago was productive even if he was on a subpar team.
  4. The best I’ve found is a different angle but has the Associated Press logo watermarked everywhere. This is another, great size but the res’ isn’t the best either. Better though.
  5. Don’t know about everyone else but I usually only get one or two presents a year, one is more than enough, and they’re more often than not something Bills related I’ve been looking at and not bought or something I remarked was cool. Several people in the 9ers GDT mentioned getting the Snow Shovel dive td by Josh framed. I made the idea known to my family. Hopefully they come through and the hangout room has a nice addition.
  6. Congratulations are only due if all of us eating can pass that concrete block 😂
  7. Friday 12/6 @ Busby's West (Santa Monica), 4pm-close Saturday 12/7 @ Santa Monica Brew Works, 12pm-5pm Saturday 12/7 @ Busby's (Santa Monica), 5pm-close Sunday 12/8 Tailgate @ Cork & Batter (ticket required), 8am-12pm Tailgate ticket: https://fansofbuffalo.com/product/la24tailgate/ went to the tailgate they had for opening weekend in 2022. Was an awesome time.
  8. Spare ribs, St. Louis style. Pork steaks. With smoked potato salad, grilled corn, toasted ravioli and beer battered cajun fries as the sides.
  9. Fair enough. Curious how you’ve come to that conclusion on him playing a mere 148 snaps. 138, sorry.
  10. I read the other day he picked up neck and shoulder injuries. He did however play all 48 of the defensive snaps and was limited yesterday as I’m sure you know. Hopefully just a precaution as not to ding or aggravate whatever’s bothering him from Sunday night. We’ll find out for definite today.
  11. Well, at least those Packers guys still have their kneecaps.
  12. After watching the game the drive after that wasn’t too bad. The following drive was where the game got away from us. Baltimore marched down the field and put themselves up 11. The following drive we had a 3rd & 1, incomplete pass then punted. They scored another TD on their next drive to make it 21-3, game looked to be completely forced from there on out. The fumble on the botched trick play during the 3rd sealed the game. Coupled with a missed FG the following drive and the game was over. Definitley a closer game than the scoreboard suggested, an anomaly indeed.
  13. One of the best to ever do it. Straight cash homie!
  14. Youre right. Was worded wrong. 🧐
  15. Sewell is an absolute monster of a tackle. Career is on HoF trajectory.
  16. LOL LOVE SMH
  17. Personally, I get where these guys come from saying that the Lombardi cements the argument of greatness I just don’t agree with it. Some guys are just on the right team to ever be in a position to win it all. Eli Manning is a prime example of that. The guy has 2 championships and was a solid QB. never exactly great though. The team he played on flipped the switch and played lights out. 2007 they won both championship games by a combined 40 points. 34 points allowed. 2011 both championship games by 41 combined points. 34 points allowed. That’s an average of 20-17 score line over 4 games. Very close to the actual ones. We give Josh a defense that’s capable of holding the best team in the conference and best team in the opposite to just 17ppg? Yeah. We come away with a title easily and people, which is sad to say, finally put respect on Josh’s name universally in greatness conversations.
  18. Justin Tuck had an awesome face mask years back iirc. Shredder-esque.
  19. We homeschool our youngest child due to other reasons so technically my wife is a teacher and we get discounts from several outlets, companies or services. Coupled that with our oldest’s student discount for college and it’s a win win.
  20. That’s still tough to do man. If it’s 3rd & 5 the QBs running that all day lol I sympathize with defenders nowadays man. Especially Safeties and Linebackers. They have to change how most of them grew up playing…
  21. You guys don’t have Sunday Ticket or NFL+?
  22. I liked Ray more than Allen as a prospect but that Jets gig is a joke behind that line and they seem geared to use Hall, which I don’t blame them, on every down possible. I think if you flipped their situation we’d be pleased with Allen just as much as we are Davis, at least imo.
  23. Wonder how bittersweet it is for Josh to have been put in the record books for multiple things against his boyhood club. Congrats Joshy!
  24. 13 over 5 games? Yeah. I’d say that’s a solid bet. Rams he might get pulled if they continue playing the way they have. Still puts up 2 pass, 1 rush TD. Detroit will probably end up a shoot out. Think he ends up with 5 total TDs. Pats, could go either way. I’ll put him down for 2 this game. Jets, same as the previous week but with the extra TD. 3. 13 on the mark total without the season finale. With that he’s easily past it imo.
