  1. The amount of pre-snap motion the Rams used was insane. Virtually every play had it. On top of that, the amount of times they had stack or trips lined up for a 3v2 is insane. Lions do this. So expect Ben Johnson to use it as well. If I’m any of the offensive guys in the remaining 4 games, Ben Johnson/Todd Downing/Van Pelt&McAdoo, I’m abusing that motion and creating that numbers mismatch unless our defense can prove it’s not confusing or effective. Absolute clinic of abuse on the McD/Babich schemes and calls. It happened all game. For the amount we use double high or quarters, it’s insane there’s absolutely no press or attempt to chuck guys at the line. What’s worse is we played cushion and we’re still getting catches against us @ 10-15 yards.
  2. That’s fair and very reasonable. Like the comparison too. im a supporter of Sean but I’m gravitating toward that ideology. Can’t hang on to hope we’ll turn the corner if we’ve only been on the sidewalk (championship) once. Yet to be on the doorstep and ring the doorbell… it’s now or never to make it inside to the big dance.
  3. I had them scraping into the playoffs. In the pool at work I had, as crazy as it was at the time, 3 NFC North teams making it; Lions/Pack/Bears Ive watched most of their games on replay, there’s talent there it’s just not put in the right situations or calls. Like everyone suggests, cleaning house with that staff is probably best. Doing that, I wonder how their defense will play. For all the failings @ QB under Eberflus, that defense is quite good.
  4. I bought into the Bears hype. They’re a miserable watch.
  5. Serious questions, if McD and the team don’t reach the SB what do you do? What do you do if they do and lose? How long does he get if we are fortunate enough to see Josh and the gang hoist the Lombardi? 3 years? 5 years?
  6. He seems like the guy who wears the Self-Wicking Alpaca Wool type socks.
  7. He had Styx on his mind.
  8. Yes. I believe so. He’s been the lead guy for a few years now unless it’s changed.
  9. Wow. What a run. Great challenge by Taylor, horrible call by the official.
  10. “I must go. Krypton needs me.”
  11. Very true lol Chase is a menace.
  12. Crazy the Bengals aren’t eliminated from the playoff race @ 4-8.
  13. Where’s he playing though? He doesn’t diagnose quick enough to be suited for the Free role. Definitely suited for the Strong where he can be in positions that are reactionary. Right now Hamlin and Rapp are interchangeable between safety roles. That leaves him as a LB, he’s undersized and will get washed at that weight. Plus, you give Dorian the nod next to Bernard over him if it’s to replace, spell or supplant Milano. So where is the next option? Nickel DB? That still goes to Taron. Hands down. Even after his rough outing yesterday he’s still one of our best guys in the secondary period.
  14. JFC 🤦‍♂️ I would prefer something along the lines of pure transparency: “the defense was unacceptable and embarrassing”
  15. Maybe they’ll give you guys first dibs if the Toronto Series returns…?
  16. Agree. Whilst the whole unit played awful, embarrassing if you will. Benford, Hamlin and Von were the better of the fielded players. The whole DLine was a let down. But Milano and Douglas were brutal. Really think they need to reduce Milano. Dorian is a better option right now.
  17. What about a kick in the nuts, 70% power?! 🤔
  18. Watching that game again is rough on everything except the offense. It’s like scrimmage and Stafford is wearing a red, non contact, jersey. After the Rams first drive, whenever the defense got into the backfield for making a negative play, they missed. The only one who made a was Von. That’s tragic. Defensive line played like ass. But a performance of the game that was just as bad goes to Rasul Douglas. Holy smokes was he atrocious.
  19. Yup.
  20. LMAO My son just showed me that video. Wonder if the Brits know who he is?! Paging @GunnerBill, @UKBillFan Is Ronnie Pickering’s dog called Fenton? Jesus Christ.
  21. To some extent I get the logic behind that thinking but sitting in zone literally requires you to be doing one of 2 things, either getting to the quarter back by your default 4 or 5 or sending a blitz that’s usually disguised. That zone was getting eaten alive. As was the man coverage. Exactly like you said, the pass rush was what we needed. Credit to McVay and Stafford, it was a borderline clinic of taking advantage what they were given. I hate to say the word because a lot of factors go into failures but legitimately our defense got abused. Straight taken out to the wood shed or train tracks. Usually can find some respectability in the press conferences Sean does but yesterdays post game left pretty much everything in a questionable state.
  22. Smh.
  23. Fall for what crap? Lmao Why are you arguing about that? Ive stated numerous times about having a problem with officiating of the league in this board. That doesn’t mean something can’t be called a penalty because you, me or others believe they should pocket the flag or choke the whistle. It’s a problem and me pointing out something is a penalty, even though I disagree with them calling it by the other ones they miss through a game shouldn’t be an issue.
  24. Didnt say they did or did not. By letter of the law it can be called. Whilst I don’t agree with the decision, it’s still a penalty.
  25. Pressure dude. On all phases from their front 5; inside and out. Some of it was coverage but most was from the line themselves. We had neither. No pressure up front and poor coverage. Recipe for disaster. One has to help the other sometimes.
