  1. Id go with “Chase these Nuts” given there’s Jamar and then a trio of head cases.
  2. Whilst I agree with you on a standpoint, the team overall itself wasn’t exactly the same as Vrabel had. Talent level for those Titans was akin to what McD was working with during his first two; 9-7 & 6-10 Helps when you have a GM in synch with your vision and the QB to boot. This Pat team, whilst it doesn’t have the record from last year to show, is certainly above what he had in Tennessee. I’ll give him 2 years to judge whether it was solely the roster in during those 2 seasons or the combination of both Vrabel’s coaching ability and the team sheets.
  3. They best start strong given 3 of their first 4 games are all divisional opponents lol
  4. Jabrill’s draft day was an excellent adventure, now it seems to be a Bogus Journey… Who’s going to Face the Music?!
  5. This is the #1 ranked team? Woof.
  6. Yeah, what @Johnny Hammersticks said is one reason. The other; Adams. I think he poaches a lot of RZ production from him. Stafford is the main issue there, his volume will take a hit if he’s not playing. Still, he’s a solid choice for your #1 pick in a PPR league if you’re in a 12-14 team league, or better yet your second selection at the top of round 2. Personally, and I see this in all 3 of the leagues that have a $ buy-in, RBs are the prime market after Chase/Jefferson. The plethora of high end running backs is minimal; 8 to 14 (depending on the perspective). WRs there’s so many to get who’ll produce at least 10 points in a week to week basis. Look at Meyers in Vegas, dude is a top 20 WR the last 2 seasons but is going in the 8th to 9th rounds… If people are as bullish on Jeanty being as productive as the fantasy pools suggest then Meyers should have an increased production with average-at-worst Geno Smith throwing the ball. Calvin Ridley is another guy going around the 30th WR drafted mark. Crazy when you watch the connection Ward had with him in that preseason game he played. Deep dive into the stats for last year and he might turn into a Terry McLaurin-esque jump. Josh Downs and Shaheed are two others guys I’m keeping an eye on to acquire if they hit the trading blocks.
  7. No, Chase Brown went @ 15. CMC @ 19 after Drake London, AJ Brown and Josh Jacobs. I guess every league and players are different, otherworldly talent for fantasy and easily a top 3 guy if he finishes the season healthy. But that is resoundingly, for most, a big if.
  8. From recent years? For me: Eagles. 2001-2008 (I know they didn’t get a ring but they were always on the cusp) Seahawks. They should have won at least 2 in that 2012-2016 run. That’s actually a good call. Make that 3 teams.
  9. Sleeper is pretty solid, very clean interface and a load of tools like you’ve mentioned. Really above the rest of the field. My BML switched there last year. ESPN isn’t that far off, and we’ve used that for 6 years prior. Yahoo is solid. NFL Fantasy App is absolutely disgraceful. Question, how do you go about setting up the 2 matchups per week? That sounds very interesting and more fun for all the prop/side bets for each week!!
  10. Pick 11, Achane was my first pick given the only other RB for that area was CMC. WRs still had depth so the guy picking 12 and 13 was going to leave one of Amon/Nico/Nabers. He double dipped WR and took Nico/Amon. Nabers wouldn’t have been my first choice but Giants might be where they were last year and be forced to pass more often than not, Wilson/Winston/Dart is an improvement over Daniel Jones imo so I see him slotting around the same production as last year, if not better. Draft first 10 went: 1. Chase 2. Bijan 3. Gibbs 4. Jefferson 5. Saquon 6. CeeDee 7. Jeanty 8. Henry 9. Jonathon Taylor (wild) 10. Puka
  11. So what’s your feeling on that? The premise is running its course/getting stale? Or there’s just a lack of characters to be presented?
  12. No kickers oddly enough lol RBs hurt man. All the top 6 guys were retained as keepers as were the usually 5 WRs in most leagues so even then you’re limited on who to buy off the bat. The only top RBs that were in the pool was CMC and Jeanty. CMC ended up going for $74 and Jeanty $71… no thank you lol (They add a $6 amount onto what they were bought for last year if you’re designating them as a keeper, so that’s a no from me to keep Amon for $69)
  13. Great team, I always feel those 8 man leagues end up with stacked lineups. Always been a fan of 12 team leagues for that reason, to each their own though. This is my $125 buy-in league, a 12 man, auction and keeper league (3 allowed. No duplicates from the year prior): QB: Josh RB: Breece Hall RB: Aaron Jones WR: Ladd McConk WR: Calvin Ridley TE: Mark Andrews W/R/T: Jammy Williams (Bench: Mixon/Purdy/Keon Coleman/Rashee Rice/Jordan Mason/Jake Ferguson/Trey Benson) my other 2 leagues are $25 buy ins and regular snake draft - 12 man, one I feel great about: QB: Joe Burrow RB: Devon Achane RB: James Cook WR: Malik Nabers WR: Cam Sutton TE: Tyler Warren W/R/T: Egbuka (Bench: Stroud/Breece Hall/David Montgomery/Chris Olave/Matt Golden/Shakir/Colston Loveland) My thing I got into last year is the 14 teams Guillotine drafts on Yahoo. Lowest scorer each week is eliminated. It’s free but there is prizes throughout the season.
  14. What’s the compensation? Multiple firsts? Jerry really is a fool, squandered retaining a stud pass rusher.
  15. Great point. And while there is elements when the coaching staff does this even if it isn’t routinely noticed, it seems to be a very linear way of draw defense as a whole. It’s system A, no ifs ands or buts. It has to be the exact type of player and if it’s not, the issue is forced or addressed solely by position rather than the best available talent. Drafting then becomes the issues I’m sure most have. There’s a few problems we are encountering because of this mindset and lack of foresight. Draft the best player available, not solely for a system or need. The same things have been the problems for a few seasons now; WR, DLine and Secondary. Thank goodness they hit on Benford cause that unit is a disaster without him.
  16. You can have no interest in developing a QB, no dispute there. But when you have a superstar QB, the development comes from mentoring and guidance from the guy above him as much as it does coaching staff. The point isn’t about drafting a guy to replace or “become the next Josh” but rather an insurance policy incase something happens because if it does this team isn’t going to win much. The point isn’t every year but once in a while to take a flier on a guy you have as that insurance or are able to exchange for future draft pick/s to get another shot at a Milano, Taron, Shakir or Benford… Mitch was dreadful in Pittsburgh, a team that is very friendly for a QB. They moved on to Kenny Pickett because he wasn’t doing enough, which even then had to be pretty minimal. If you believe Mitch can be successful at leading us to multiple wins if Josh is unavailable, more power to you. I was in that camp prior to his Pittsburgh 2 year deal. Not anymore. There’s better options out there. Grooming a backup versus a guy who’s played a ton of football and done so very averagely since his Sophomore year seems like a smarter option. Especially when you revert it back to your point about rather having a chance at more late round gems; you could get something for him.
  17. lol I understand what you meant, i just feel with where Milton was drafted it wouldn’t even be an issue. Purely development and backup, now if he was a first round pick? Sure, there might be some sentiment where there could be an issue. Even then, with who Josh is and how he plays, Milton (you would think) would be soaking it all in to learn from such a uniquely elite talent.
  18. Multiple firsts for a CB? No way, not with what we got. At least to me, that would be absurd unless you have top end productive blue chip talent at the defensive line & LB that is proven to be reliable in the biggest moments. An elite game wrecking defensive lineman (Donald/Chris Jones/Jalen Carter) or pass rusher (like the trade talks this past year; Max/Myles/Micah) moves the needle for the secondary as whole.
  19. Ethan, that’s quite surprising as you seem to be a knowledgeable poster from what I’ve seen… That one by Taron sealed the deal in a huge playoff game that the Bills were in the cusp of completely falling flat in. Baltimore clawed the momentum and punching it in for 6 might have been the undoing of the night. On top of that, it’s very recent.
  20. Great point and on consideration he probably is.
  21. The Jets cut two good ones: Fatorma Mulbah and Phidarian Mathis
  22. As hilarious as that is, it’s actually spot on.
  23. It wasn’t my post. It was @TheyCallMeAndy lol I just out the names in for quick reference instead of the numbers.
