Damn. That sucks. Always thought he’s a quality running back. Never amazing but steadily reliable and dependable since his Pittsburgh days.

The League's Top Ten Coaches All Ought to be Fired
Sojourner replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Who would that be? Only two I could see is Tomlin or Payton. Both would absolutely have to fail miserably for them to be canned, even then I think they probably give each guy one more year. -
Well that’s me out of both pools thanks to Green Bay’s epic 3 minute meltdown. Good luck to everyone else still active in theirs! 🙋♂️

Given some of the responses, I wonder if they think The Onion articles are real??? -
Have you been watching the game?! Their best player maybe it Mooney! At least you’d think so by the way theyre trying to get the ball to him. Bijan > Drake > everyone else. That should be how they feed the team.

Pretty weird. Kid was electric all throughout the preseason. I get the regular season is a different animal but you need to give the guy a chance. Especially for a top 40 pick.

What the heck is going on in Jax with BTJ? Are they even throwing to the guy? Commentator said he’s only got 70 yards through these first 3 games!

Patriots have actually had a good production from their offseason acquisitions. Their defense especially. Milton Williams, Harold Landry, K’laivon Chaisson and Spillane have been good. Carlton Davis so-so but he’s coming back from that brutal injury. Their rookies? Will Campbell and Craig Woodson have played nearly all available snaps. Throw in Henderson and Farmer being rotational pieces for their respective units and that snap % makes sense. Again, Campbell and Wilson make up the bulk of that given out of 22 starters they are 9%. If the Kyle Williams hype train actually transpired they’d be leaps and bounds ahead of Cleveland in terms of those percentages. Pains me to say it but they’ve actually done a decent job out there in Foxborough for Vrabel’s first year. Time will tell if it translates to sustained and productive success. For the mean time, their roster additions have hit the ground running and are contributing well.

Do you think Madabookay out be a huge loss for them? He’s integral to their run defense and I’m not sure if that Jones kid they have can handle the load himself. We had a successful game on the ground against them, as did Cleveland even though they got blown out. Think Monty and Gibbs have a field day given the embarrassment of talent they have to catch the ball. You think no chance? I don’t think they win personally but I’m betting a one to low 2 score game. 31-25 Chiefs. Giants defense has been a let down so far.

Disagree on ditching Codrington, the kick returns he’s done so far have been productive. The punt returns will come too imo. Solomon? No way do you cut and stash him. He’s needed for that Bosa rotation with AJE. Exclusive Edge guys, there’s only 4. Roose, Bosa, AJE and him as the guy in your third point; Landon Jackson isn’t seeing the field one bit unless he does a 180°. Once Hoecht returns then maybe you make moves on the d-line, free up a spot for him and keep Solomon as the last rotational guy. Either way, if you’re moving any of those ends off the active 53 it would be Jackson for Hoecht imo.

Is anyone else having to log in here multiple times a day?

NEVER CLOSE THE BROWSER WINDOW/S! On a serious note, running browsers through a VPN causes me this issue for here and many other websites. Don’t know if you roll with one of them? -
For sure. If that defense can’t turn it around, their season is going to be a long and losing one. Agree but with what’s been shown on the field so far, they are a better team than the Steelers. Like you said, it’s going to come down to mistakes They’re both poorly performing teams but I out the edge to the Steelers right now.

Imagine if we took the Harbaugh approach and didn’t pull him in garbage time to pad his stats 🤪
-
That wasn’t his point at all Chris, @Einstein was simply pointing out that 2 free agent windows ago was when Henry was signed for a cheap deal for a player of his talent/production and not that he’s been passed up in 2 separate windows. Which, he isn’t wrong. The majority of leagues essentially let the Ravens sign him uncontested.

How much mustard can he cut?

I have no doubt everyone is praying for your daughter and the family. If going by your contributions to this board over the years are anything to go by blessings should come full circle to you and yours. Many prayers and lots of love! -

What happened to the run game in the second half?

Gotta have that emergency kicker! -
Falcons release Younghoe Koo, then thank him on Social Media
Sojourner replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes. Believe he missed the game tying FG against the Bucs at the end of regulation. -
Agree. Think it’s a commitment to stopping the run first and foremost. Now with Milano out, got to cover that with more players.
-
That INT by Bernard is weird going by the decisions made by Tua on the passes to Achane throughout the game. I understand it but with the amount of traffic in that area, he should have pulled it back and reset or thrown to 28. At least to me.
-
Great point. He’s not elite (yet) so that is substantially hard to overcome.

Never doubted Cook being integral to this offense but the drop off to Davis/Johnson is pretty sizable .
