Was surprised he didn’t get picked up as a UDFA. There’s certainly talent there that was evident during his time at LSU.

You know there’s going to be some brutal play. But that bad? No. No reasoning for half measured play. I’ve been to around 10 preseason games and the consensus about those is it isn’t about the win but watching the competition and effort the guys playing for a job display. Honestly, there was far too many moments of modest effort.

Im with you on focusing on the brighter and right perspective is to look at the bigger picture of what is was… The only thing that bothers me is in terms of the price tickets are nowadays, there’s some people who those preseason games, due to location as well, are the only Bills games they can attend. Many of them take their children. The product, even if it is preseason and meaningless on the actual season, was an embarrassment to any fan putting time and energy on watching the game. Especially those who put up money to spend the evening attending it.

Got to exhaust every avenue that’s available. Not to say there isn’t other problems on the team but the ones that are going to cost us points/games going by last year and the moves made are still the secondary. There’s still some decent vets on the market who have a few years left in the tank; Marcus Williams, Von Bell, Justin Simmons and Whitehead for the Safety positions (all are FS except Whitehead who moved between each role on the backend in his career) Might be time to place a call to Asante Samuel Jr., Kendall Fuller or Emmanuel Moseley a call for the CB position if the backups and depth guys put on the same show they did against Chicago again in Tampa. Essentially from what’s reported the play was by Dugger last season, no point giving up assets when there’s guys who have had just as much capability/production in the league and at a cheaper price.

Dude. That throw by him to the corner of the EZ over Hancock was pretty sweet. I know Dane wasn’t exactly making it the tightest of windows but it was impressive nonetheless. He was slinging it a few years ago when he stepped in for Fields. And if I’m honest, the drop off to him wasn’t that bad. Seemed to be forcing a lot of stuff during the games which would clean up over time. Definitely not a bad backup to have, especially for an undrafted guy.

Can’t say I saw that when we there but if/when the next time we make our way up there I’ll be sure to try them! During my times in Germany, currywurst and fries was my thing. Is it the same type of curried sauce/gravy?

Stumbled across that when we went to the fort up there. The Italian not far from it was pretty packed and couldn’t seat the 7 of us next to one another or in close proximity. The Irish stew was top notch! Wife got the Guinness pie and her uncle, the “bangers and mash”. They were the only ones I tried, kids all got the regular BS; chicken tenders etc lol Definitley worth a visit if you’re on that side of the border.

The worst part for both of them is their schedule. It’s absolutely brutal. You’re probably spot on about them cleaning house. However… That’s why I’m in the camp of getting Dart in there for them as soon as Russ isn’t showing anything. Him showing promise, making some plays and leading the team in certain scenarios and games might be the final thread that keeps their jobs on a potentially awful losing season.

If I’m Daboll I pull the plug on Wilson if he doesn’t show much after the first 4 games and insert Dart. Let him play the Saints, wet his feet and go from there.

Just got done watching the game and whether he makes it or not, I liked what Gore Jr. put out there. All-22 showing that as well.

Bullock and Mustahpa look are the top there that we could have had at that pick. Bullard looks to be a potential stud. Tykee Smith looks to be an average starter at worst. Hicks showed some quality last season in rotational use, as did Evan Williams. Need Bishop to transform if he’s going to be the starter. He wasn’t awful but the return was less than what many of us expected/hoped for. Got faith he’ll get it right.

Agree. Would have liked them to go after Barron and if he didn’t fall to the 20s then grab Nick Emmanwori and then grab a FA on top of Tre; maybe Donte Jackson, St. Juste or Eric Stokes. Got to roll with what they got. I’m sure we’ll be fine.

I’m not asking for intricate concepts but putting some levels concepts on tape instead of go routes isn’t going to ruin a season by “showing it”.

Well said. collectively horrible with a few bright spots by 2 or 3 guys.

Those 3 guys they showed in the graphic, our big money extensions on defense, better be stellar this year.
