  1. Washed up? He hasn’t been great but against the Jets he was borderline the best player on defense. That was 2 games ago?
  2. If they can get to 9, which is possible, they ironically would play Tampa Bay in game 10 to break that record! Go Bills!
  3. Quite surprised no one picked up Alexander. For the fact he played a game, what? 2 days after being signed and wasn’t down right awful for his first ever time on a pro field was something that should have weight.
  4. Meyers is an enigma and might prove how bad the coaching staff in Vegas has been. Not advocating to acquire him but there is this tidbit: I was reading up on him for fantasy football and he lines up in the slot around 35% of the time last season… yet his usage there was pretty low. Only 39 (20%) of his targets were seen from that alignment. Id say the stats and production dictate he’s a versatile receiver who sees more production as a boundary guy. Interestingly enough, I believe half of his touchdowns came from the slot, so there is that. The other side of the coin was that he only scored 4.
  5. My guy!!! That popped into my head immediately too lol Id argue the handlebar mustache is more protection!
  6. Was hoping they’d start that 21 day window given he’s started some personal drills. I can’t remember what McD said exactly but it was something to the effect of “the athletic trainer is working with him… nothing further…”
  7. That’s a fair point and again, I’m not doubting any of the guys we have. Simply if Palmer doesn’t show up here or there before the trade deadline it wouldn’t be a bad decision to get look for an addition.
  8. That’s a great point and I don’t disagree. But we are 2-0 in the division and should be coming away with the better record come Week 18. At least you would hope. Given the Bernard scare on Sunday, rest Milano as much as possible. Brown and Ed are absolutely pivotal to a lot of their side of the ball’s success. Same goes for them. Can see it either way though.
  9. Honestly, aside from Coleman’s showing against Baltimore and Shakir’s 40 yard effort on Sunday, it’s the Cook and Josh show. Palmer needs to start getting involved. If not, it wouldn’t hurt to get an upgrade somewhere on that group. To add to your last point, the offense could have put that game to bed in the second quarter when the defense made plays. They didn’t. Team effort. When the offense is rolling, the defense seems to have lapses. When the offense sputters, the defense picks it up. When they’re both on the same page theyre on of it not the most dangerous team in football.
  10. If the Pats were 3-1 or even 4-0, I’d hope that Brown, Ed and Milano were ready to go. Got a game in hand divisionally; 2-0 to their 1-0. Best just to get them absolutely 100% healthy as the next two games should be wins, even if the score line is close.
  11. Bengals have absolutely no shot in that division without Burrow which is crazy given Lamar may miss some time. Unless that team does a miraculous turn around, they aren’t even sniffing the wild card. Chargers/Chiefs will end up with better records in the AFC West. Colts look to be taking the south with Houston having a defense, their offense just needs to figure things out to be in with a shot at competing for the South or getting a WC. East is the Bills. Pats look like they could piece some wins together to get a WC spot. North is the most interesting division. Steelers could have a chance if Lamar misses multiple games, especially with injuries throughout their team. Ravens still in the mix. Browns are the interesting option. If Gabriel turns the offense around, they could rack uo the wins. That defense is dominant. It wouldn’t surprise me if the two wild card teams end up from the AFC West; Chargers/Broncos/Chiefs
  12. Congratulations Mark! Is the Buffalo you’re standing next to on the cover the paperweight for the book?!
  13. Do we know why exactly? What were the points brought up that were voiced by players leading to those frustrations?
  14. If he is on the hot seat, it’s definitely as a scapegoat. He’s running Sean’s defensive tendencies to a tee.
  15. Definitely some results, especially their pass rush, have bared fruit so far. Which will be a problem if Spencer Brown can’t play again. Saw a lot of eye rolls, laughs and dismissing at those who go said the Saints weren’t going to just be a rollover game… Patriots are a better team. This game can’t going to be a period of stalemates like we saw in the second quarter. Thankfully the Saints couldn’t muster anything other than a FG on a punt from short field, penalty included. Teams are successful on the ground. Not having to be heavily reliant on the pass. Couple that with it being a closer game where they aren’t forced to air it out to catch up fast.
  16. Maybe we can secretly switch him for his brother, the other Ferguson Long Snapper?
  17. Packers deserve to lose for that farcical series of events.
  18. Heck of a catch for a rookie
  19. So where do we rate Love in starting QBs?
  20. difficult for sure, lack of effort and just walking out of the end zone when the guy you’re covering is 6-7 yards away isn’t it lol
  21. Yes. That’s why the CBs blow. Absolutely dreadful awareness on this drive from each boundary guy.
  22. These CBs absolutely blow for GB lol
  23. Always the worst man. I lost last week by 0.7 due to the Amon Ra 4th down conversion. Having a rough one in my big money league, 3 players to play vs. 1 but I feel the GB defense is going to come back to haunt me as theyre at a -4 right now.
