  1. So why choose Buffalo? the 9ers wanted him and weren't/aren't resigning Crabtree any time soon... He would have automatically been their #1 receiving option.
  2. Thank goodness, I didn't wanna have to start rooting against the guy.
  3. Four? I thought the Jets had a pretty good set of defensive linemen. Guess I was wrong.
  4. Disagree. They aren't far off but they need more than just "one safety". Their LBs are average. Actually, as of right now they only have one decent one to begin with. That one being the young guy, Jenkins I think is his name. Even then, last year was his breakout season. Next to him they have Koa Misi (who's always been average at best), Trusnik (role player) and Sheppard. Yes, that Sheppard. Wouldn't surprise me if they draft a couple this year. If we put together an O-Line that can generate any sort of push in the run game against the Fish, I don't see there being a problem with Suh's arrival. He's only one guy. And oddly enough - Wake never really shows up against us. At least not since the 2012 season.
  5. The funny thing? I have 9er friends and tried telling this to them for years. They wouldn't have it. Apparently he was "light years ahead of Stevie Johnson".
  6. Yikes. I mean, I would like the Bills to pay it for one man only at that position - Gronk. Maybe Graham - maybe. At least the Jags got Bortles a potential play maker even if it is crazy money. Maybe if they can get White/Cooper/Parker in this draft and use the rest on defensive upgrades, they may start to make headway in that division. In fact, I hope they do.
  7. Jerry's play won't dip. I think he let us off the hook a little. I was expecting around 6-9m more in the contract somewhere. Either way, thank you Jerry my man! Long may you continue!
  8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJLSZfpwgFs Maybe we can pull a Falcons and have this playing at the presser? Ehhh, who am I kidding? Jerry's a beast! Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!
  9. Word is Glen Coffee and him have been hanging out quite a lot during the off-seasons the past 4-5 years. No surprise that this article has popped up: Patrick Willis is retiring after religious awakening
  10. Well I'll be darned. I didn't think they'd be able to make such a massive contract work. Kudos to them. Still, doesn't change a thing. Suh can be a dominant player but in reality, I hope the Fish just overpaid for a headache.
  11. Given what we traded for Bryce Brown and Mike Williams, would a 3rd or a 4th shock you?
  12. Given they receive two and we get one, I would bank on it being a 3rd or 4th at worst. We will get a 6th and 7th.
  13. That link just directs me to the homepage...
  14. They may want Suh but after cutting Hartline and Gibson surely they would need to address the WR position in FA? Even if it is one low level guy. Don't they also have a number of decent players who are FA's next season too? I may be wrong but I thought the contracts of Tannehill, Pouncey, Vernon and Clay (again) expire next year. My guess is he lands with the Browns, Jags or Raiders. Not because they are the top three for cap space but they all have a desperate need for guy in the middle of that defensive front. Not great. The last time I looked it was around the $9m mark.
  15. Out of AP and McCoy? Yup. Though I think Murray is similar to Gore, the guy who has so much success in Roman's O. Time will tell. I think it'll play out good for us.
  16. I'd put it more around the 20 mark but sure, 15.
  17. These articles coming out that say McCoy was "fazed" from of Chip's offense are brilliant. He wasn't. His role was simply reduced as a third down back. He was still a workhorse in the ground game - second highest rushing attempts for a season in his career at 312. Handing the ball to a guy 312 times is being "fazed" out? Not at all. His role changed due to Sproles who is more of a tailored receiving back. Well played more than not by Chip with Sproles coming in. Including his catches, McCoy saw 340 touches. Seriously, stop picking up and running with every statement the media put out there. He still saw the bulk of the workload, he just split time with a guy who's better at what he was put in there for - receiving. I had to laugh at this guy's post (even though it's from another thread). Maybe it is possibly the most bonehead thing I've heard so far if indeed the trade goes through: Who in their right mind asks "who's McCoy running behind?". Anyone with any common sense can establish that Shady walks in here as the #1 back right away if the trade goes through. Personally I don't think you can choose one or the other, it's two different cogs to our team. People are just shocked by it. It actually is probably summed up best like this: Who is liked more by our fans across the board? Kiko, obviously. Who immediately makes the Bills an all-around better team? McCoy, no question. Kiko or McCoy? Whichever gives our team betters odds to win a game. Time will tell but I put my money on Shady.
  18. F-in amazing dude. Good find. Pretty convoluted to predetermine who takes what avenue. Over the space of several years, there is some transparency to it. Banking on a season and one season alone via PFF to measure player value? No.
  19. Why? I don't think there's that much difference between the two in terms of speed to be honest. I'd rather take Harris purely on the basis of familiarity with Ryan. Also, for some weird reason I think Spikes is going to see a 2 year deal somewhere - possibly Titans or ATL.
