  1. Will completely depend on if he plays all 16 or not. If he does I'll say yes. He probably ends up with 34 or 35. I'm cautiously optimistic that he adds another 3 or even 4 tomorrow.
  2. It was an impressive throw but part of me wonders how many incompletions have actually been fully charted throughout NFL history. Especially ones that go out of the back of the end zone. Thinking if we dig a little deeper into the film archives maybe we find a few longer.
  3. I've always liked Carr. But that said, he is the Kirk Cousins of the AFC. Neither is good enough for the ultimate goal of winning a super bowl. It goes beyond stats with these guys. The disaster blow-out loss in Atlanta a few weeks ago just can't happen. Both Carr and Cousins seem to have losses (plural) like that one every year.
  4. I really don't know that it was a big factor. Unless he aggravated at the very end of the Titans game. Allen actually played really well in the Titans game. But the entire team around him was crap that day.
  5. I think he could have been a bit of a driver. Allen was basically either going to be a huge bust or a success. Even by the end of last season it was obvious Allen was not a massive bust. He wasn't the MVP caliber QB he is today but he had already guaranteed himself not being a huge bust. Packers could have evaluated Love and thought, "this guys is better right now than when Allen came out and he has the same upside. Allen didn't bust so good chance Love won't bust either" So true. Thank God they turned that around quickly!
  6. Darnold will be a great back up QB for us in about 3 years when he burns out on his second team. I don't think so. Darnold was overhyped. His final season at USC was not good. He's basically been living off of two or three great games from his redshirt sophomore year. All the mistakes he has made with the Jets are the same ones he was making his final year at USC.
  7. I listened to about two minutes of his podcast yesterday. That last two minutes i will ever tune into. To summarize: 1. He holds a major grudge over the Bills handling of Tyrod. Both the benching of Tyrod in favor of Peterman and the subsequent trading of Tyrod after he helped lead the Bills to their first postseason in 17 years. This grudge is in part some of the reason why he dislikes Allen to a degree and a large reason why he dislikes Buffalo. Compared it to the Lions firing Caldwell after too many 9-7 seasons. Acknowledged that race plays a part. 2. It's not "good enough to just be a good QB" WTF? He believes Allen is good but has a fatal flaw. Too much hero ball. He also believes Allen could never make the 4th down TD throw that Jackson made to Brown the other night. As he put it, when Allen decides to run he runs. He won't keep his eyes down the field and throw. Again, WTF? 3. He seems to think there was some level of hypocrisy among the Bills organization and their fans in their love of Allen through his first two years but their insistence of getting rid of Tyrod. Similar level of play between the two in his eyes. Of course this ignores the fact that Tyrod was on a downward trajectory and a 8 year vet while Allen was always improving and only in his second year. All three of his points are complete crap. Me: Hindsight is 20/20 and Bills look like geniuses for both moving on from Tyrod when they did and drafting Allen.
  8. I'd like to see the Dolphins bury Cam and the Patriots offense this week. If that happens we might see Stidham. Also, a chance that with one more loss the Pats might pretty much throw in the towel there last two games. If Josh has a sliver of a chance at the MVP still he's going to need a 4TD, 35-10 blow out victory on MNF on the road against the Patriots.
  9. I know the Broncos have been a feisty team. They upset the Dolphins a few weeks back, pushed the Chiefs to their limits a couple weeks ago and of course just beat the Falcons on the road. That said, I feel like we match up well with them on both sides of the ball. Feels like a 30-16 type game. Looks like weather will be a non factor too.
  10. The #2 seed feels more likely than the #3 seed with the way the Steelers are playing right now. I can't see them finishing the season 3-0. Bills just got to win out. That bum hasn't posted since November 29th apparently. Not much for him to talk about. Even he doesn't believe the nonsense that came out of his keyboard anymore I guess.
  11. Worth the wait! Realistically, I never even thought "the guy" would be this good once we found "the guy".
  12. Would love to see him named first team all-pro. But Devante Adams is a lock. And going to be hard to beat out both Tyreek Hill and Metcalf. I think he has a chance to beat out Metcalf but probably not Hill.
  13. Signature win!!!! Or do the Steelers suck now? So true. After that disastrous first quarter where the offense couldn't catch a break all I could think was, well that's okay. It's just one of those games Allen is going to win on the final drive.
  14. The offense did a great job of weathering the storm of misfortune in the first half. They couldn't catch a break. But they never gave up and the better team prevailed.
  15. Because Big Ben's third year was about a decade and a half ago you really got to go by rank amongst peers from that season rather than raw stats. His rankings would have him looking better (13-22 range but he did lead the league in INT's) but still nowhere close to Allen who is basically top 10 in everything. But Big Ben's raw stats in today's NFL would have him like 25th or worse in every category but YPA. I don't like the Big Ben comparison mostly because Allen is >>>> Big Ben when it comes to athletic ability. Even a young Big Ben was never as close to Allen as an athlete. The scary thing for the league but awesome for Bills fans is the more Allen plays the more the comp looks like Mahomes. Mahomes is a very sneaky athlete himself.
  16. They do have their off days. Take away the first quarter of the Bucs game two weeks ago and they have only scored 32 points in 7 straight quarters. I took under 50.5 points in this one as part of a 3 leg parlay so I hope the Chiefs are either held under 28-30 points or the Dolphins offense is completely shut down if the Chiefs go for 35+
  17. Won't Flores play the same defense the Patriots employed? I wouldn't assume they stick with man to man.
  18. Players extra focused? Why would the Steelers have an edge and the Bills don't? I would have preferred the Steelers coming in unbeaten. But I still think Bills have plenty of extra motivation with the talk from the national media being the Bills needing a "signature win" still. Don't get me wrong I really don't believe in a lot of this stuff but I was responding to a question. If we are saying the Steelers are motivated an extra 1% coming off a loss then I'll counter that with the Bills being motivated by an extra 1% with it being a primetime game and the talk of needing a signature win. Primetime games are still relatively new for the Bills especially in contrast to a team like the Steelers.
  19. Perfect outcome would be something like 20-6 Chiefs. Chiefs easily win but Mahomes looks pedestrian against Flores defense keeping the door cracked for Allen to inch even closer in the MVP race. Dolphins offense with Tua under center has a hard time moving the ball much beyond the 50 yard line.
  20. Equal amount the Steelers would be to avenge a loss. Yes. Steelers are no strangers to prime time. Bills players, if they hear even a snippet of the talking heads are well aware that they are seen as not a real contender yet.
  21. Steelers could have an edge if this were a 1 pm kick-off. But since this is a primetime game I think the Bills will be plenty motivated that it will cancel out any edge the Steelers would have wanting to revenge their loss from last week.
