Cole Beasley given permission to seek trade
Franco_92 replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought he had a quiet year, but watching highlights showed me how important he was against KC in the big drives, the Tampa comeback too iirc -
I don't know much about the older guys, but he's right there behind Allen and Mahomes today IMO. He's a worse quarterback overall obviously but the throws he can make are absurd

As much as I still feel completely sick every time I think of that KC game, I have also become as certain as can be that this legend is going to bring us that parade

I still find myself sitting still, completely in awe at what we have and what he was able to do this January -
He did do this before the weird company stuff

I was referring to blacks, not non-whites. There are other non-whites in football, but the crux of most of these debates center on blacks because most NFL personnel are white or black, other minorities don't come up in numbers relative to discussion because even though they comprise (100 - 56 - 12)% of the population, they don't play or coach American football in significant numbers. But anyway, my point was just to poke fun at your "the little baby is whining about something completely insiginficant" attitude when the histrionics necessary to describe a sample size of literally five positions as "embarrassing" are entirely reflective of who actually tends to be obsessive and emotional regarding "racial issues" in general
-
I don't care about the rule, but the mocking tone insinuating an overreaction is kinda funny considering that the OP a few posts above you describes it as "embarrassing" that a demographic comprising 12% of the population acquired "only" 20% of the available openings in 2019 lol

So the bengals will get to use the Rams' locker room, right? That's kinda funny

Are you excited about the Superbowl matchup ?
Franco_92 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not excited, but its a pleasant matchup with no chance of annoyance or frustration -
The Bengals coaches coached a better game against the Chiefs (well, a better half) than the Bills did this month. The Bills staff was excellent in KC in October. The Bengals coaches are not better than ours in general. If only you guys heard Bengals fans conversations through much of the last few years. They did not think highly of their own staff until this little run. They might become established as being better than Sean and his guys, but the Chiefs blew their wad against us and hit a wall. Mahomes went from the best game of his career to one of the worst. The Bengals benefited greatly from this, it was obvious that both the Chiefs and their fans are still spent from last Sunday. The stadium was half as loud as it was last weekend. The doomer absolutism on this board is so stupid

Josh Allen was feeling the pain of today as well
Franco_92 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
There were 100k likes on that tweet within 3 minutes. I know that's a silly thing to care about, and I don't care about it, but it's definitely a sign that the Bills' franchise quarterback is firmly planted as a household name -
I should be getting ready to go to the stadium right now
Franco_92 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I kept wondering all week what it will take to not feel as bad about last weekend. Getting today in the rear view mirror will at least be a start -
In theory, giving buffalo fewer yards to go would have simply given KC MORE than 13 seconds, which isn't what we wanted. When I saw 1:02 on the clock and 3 timeouts, that was exactly the way i wanted it. i was happy he scored after he got about 20 yards.
-
A lot still to happen. But there is nothing in that schedule stopping the Bills from reaching their dreams. that will be true every year as long as we have Allen in his prime.
-
I've felt less pain thinking of it as KC needing 2 plays to go at least 35 yards. They've done that countless times of course. But it was still a big screw up

I hope Brady stays in Tampa one more year. Chiefs draw the Bucs this fall. -

It's so funny that people now say this about Reid. Sean will be fine -
I think the clock started this year. Allen was excellent last year, but in that Chiefs game it showed that he wasn't quite SB caliber yet. This year shows that he now is. His first shot didn't quite work out. I'm beyond excited to see his second shot, next year.

We definitely could have, and it stings. Remember where this team was after Indy, Jacksonville, after Tampa? This was that same team, just a few weeks later. Because of Josh Allen, we are going to feel tantalizingly close to a Super Bowl win, like things are lining up just right for us, most of the next 10-12 years. Even the teams that feel weaker than they should be. Sometimes the coin will flip in our direction. And I have all the faith in the world that at least once, Josh will finish the job.
