  1. Nice - so far! I'm hoping you end up getting them ALL right. Go BILLS.
  2. Damn the Pats - GO BILLS!
  3. Ha ha, but then again, January 3, 1993 was a blacked out playoff game in Buffalo that will both be never forgotten and never remembered by many.
  4. Not confident. I believe the Bills can beat any team in the NFL BUT I also believe the Bills can LOSE to any team in the NFL (aka Jags). Unlike last season, this season I am apprehensive about which Bills team shows up to play for every game. Funny, last season I believed those old days (draught years) were behind us. But losing to the Jags busted my bubble. Best I can muster these days is Cautiously Optimistic. I blame this on the ptsd from 20 years of futile fandom.
  5. Not sure this team belongs in the playoffs
  6. Lamar Jackson OUT for Sunday's game. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/01/02/nfl-week-17-early-inactives-lamar-jackson-officially-out-marquise-brown-active/
  7. What an f'n JOKE
  8. Due to PTS from the draught years, I have stronger reactions than ever. After last year and early this year, I thought we had turned the corner to a new era - my bad. Right now I am disgusted by falling back into the "What team will show up to play this week" mode. SO DISAPPOINTED - maybe I'll get over it, but maybe I am just sick of it.
  9. I wonder how much "heavy snow" Josh Allen played in before he became a Bill? I wonder how many Buffalo Bills players or coaches, for that matter come from warm weather states? It is total BS to think that a kid from Firebaugh, California has some sort of magical advantage playing " in the mud, rain, heavy snow...everything expect(?) a thunderstorm". You forgot to mention the WIND; the very element we could not overcome last night. Another thing, teams that come to play in the wacky western NY weather have ONE game possibly effected by the elements. The Buffalo Bills have HALF of their entire season possibly influenced by the elements. It makes it much more difficult to remain competitive. IMHO...
  10. It leave such a sour taste... - after all these years of rooting for the Bills, to finally have a team CAPABLE of winning it all BUT half of the players (seemingly) not CARING about winning it all.
  11. Well, just last week! With the Bills facing a 4th-and-4 against the Dolphins in the first half, it appeared that Miami jumped into the neutral zone just before the snap to give the Bills a free first down. Allen was flushed out of the pocket and brought down by Andrew Van Ginkel for what appeared to be a sack, but was later ruled to be intentional grounding. Allen was angry that the apparent Offside wasn’t called, and the Bills quarterback could be heard cursing toward referees as he walked back to the sidelines. Whether right call or wrong call by refs - it was boneheaded because Josh did not play until the whistle.
  12. I thought the same thing. I wished Allen showed more class. However, (I have not had a chance to re-watch yet) it has occurred to me that Josh might have not been waving but making the hand motion of "Yapping" or "flapping your jaws". I thought he was waving but I also wondered why all of the refs right there seemed to ignore it rather than flag him for TAUNTING.
  13. As I was reading the comments, this avatar cracked me up: (Josh bottle feeding a dolphin)
  14. ...and it has been that way since August!!!! I watch GP every day when I treadmill. Starting in mid July , the site was offline completely for nearly two months. They just put up a message that they were getting ready for the upcoming season. BS or they hired high school kids to program the "new" site. (Which by the looks of it - that is exactly what they did) ;-). So unprofessional. ooooops - sorry for the rant.
  15. WOW - well said! Beasley seems to be "tilting at windmills". (Tilting at windmills is an English idiom which means "attacking imaginary enemies", originating from Miguel de Cervantes' early 17th century novel Don Quixote.)
  16. Also - How many of the above started college ball at the Community College level ( ie an extreme deficit in quality team and COACHING )? All of these players did not start the race at the same starting line.
  17. I have thought that on almost every throw to Sanders - 'those were "Smoke" balls. Josh does not seem to be in sync with Sanders. (?)
  18. "Oh, there's my dil-dough"
  19. Ha Ha - me too. A giant "dil-dough" 🤣
  20. I think the title of this thread should of been - "Per Nick Wright Wrong: Bills will be a fringe contender" imo
  21. Actually, some will do the exact same thing to show affection/friendship.
