Not to mention long term effects and recurring conditions. If you ever had a case of Shingles, you know this all too well. I had a case of Shingles that last most of three months! Terrible and very, very painful.

Social Distancing Canada vs USA - https://www.macleans.ca/news/canada/the-maid-of-mist-coronavirus-and-americas-ship-of-fools/ -
WOW - This impasse sounds serious! ^^^

I don't follow your logic regarding the Northeast "trend". The Northeast had case reduce due to a shut down and strict mask and social distancing protocols. It didn't just randomly burn itself. The states you listed above are doing little to stop the spread of Covid.

Do you mean that all 32 teams will reside in the same bubble? If not, then the "No physical contact with the outside world until a team's season is over" is over as soon as the first two teams meet.
-
Ha Ha - and the folks calling for the players to "suck it up and live in a bubble for six months" are likely the very same ones who refuse to wear a mask to the grocery store. Go figure. It's almost as if there were a double standard or something...

Agree!!! How many coaches and staff have medical conditions that would make them more likely to have a deadly bout of covid-19? Daboll? Take a peek at the photos of the 2020 Nfl Coaches. Sure, those coaches can hide behind protective barriers but how could the league justify protecting some and not others? It is sad to think that there are fans out there that are perfectly fine with sacrificing the lives of a few just for a few hours of pleasure on Sunday afternoons. Pitiful

This thread feels like standing in the checkout lane with all the candy and tantrums are breaking out all over. Everyone who comes to this site every day want football this season. Some folks realize that our Buffalo Bills are also people. People with lives and families. Most professional athletes have only their body to make a living with. If their body fails them, well... All professional athletes realize the risk they take, in their chosen sport, and know that their career could end at any time due to injury or decreased physical conditioning. NONE of the current professional athletes signed a contract to go perform in inclement conditions. (electrical storm, etc.) None of them agreed to play in potentially deadly or possible career ending pandemic. Dear lord Jesus, how many years have we as Bills fans waited to finally have a winning team? I for one do not want to risk any one currently on our team, just so I can be entertained a few hours a week. The players want to play. It is not wrong for them to demand that their environment is as safe as possible. nuf said.

This is why we cannot have nice things! New Yorkers who are envious of Floridians, Texans, etc. Yeah, the good old days. What about your freedom to drink and drive? -
Belicheat can work magic but... He couldn't fix CRAZY (AB)! It has been a while since Cam had to buckle down and concentrate.

If reality equals doomsday it is a very sad world we live in today.

The players may be young and healthy, but what about coaches and support staff? Who wants to take bets on Andy Reid's chances? How about Romeo Crennel? It is not just about survival either. Survivors are reporting long lasting issues. What if some young and healthy players recover but never have the endurance required to play pro football anymore. This is not chicken pox. It just isn't that simple.

How Many Vietnam Veterans follow the Bills?
cd1 replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you just asked about veterans that were Bills fans - no problem. My uncle died in WWII. He did not live to be a veteran. Memorial Day is to honor all of those who DIED in service to their country. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE To fight about this shows that you are the JERK... -

Just to be a stick in the mud... Memorial Day is to honor those who died in war. Veterans Day is to honor all those who served. -
Which Bills player is mostl likely to progress in 2020?

This kid (JA) will NEVER, EVER, live this down. I have been watching a lot of last years Kansas City games lately. Their QB GOD can also stink up the place when another team can bring pressure. FCOL! -
