  1. Wow, that is much higher than I expected. But St Louis really wants a football team again, I guess. Reuben Foster is a monster in this league. He's 30 years old and I imagine he gets one final NFL contract as a backup.
  2. The great Kelvin Benjamin You gotta hope he's an Anquan Boldin type. Boldin could take over games with a great QB passing to him because he was smart and physical.
  3. And how many viewers does a typical baseball game get? Hockey game? Arena league game? MLS game? Minor league soccer? Yet, somehow these leagues still survive....go figure.
  4. I don't think they need to change anything. Keep it like pro football because that's what it is. It's not the arena league. Combined, this is the 3rd season for the USFL and 2nd for XFL. That's better than previous spring leagues, so they're figuring it out. They seem to have no trouble getting sponsors, the talent pool is better, and the game quality is better.
  5. Could possibly be an H-back type, but I don't see them doing that. I get what your saying about his ball carrying skills. He sets a tone when he runs with attitude.
  6. They've already been posted in this thread, but his attitude and lack of effort when the ball's not coming to him is one mentioned again and again. He may be a great receiver, but that sounds like a guy who isn't going to last under McDermott, justified or not.
  7. Too many red flags for Mitchell. Legette has the tools, intangibles, and the most important thing for a WR: ball skills.
  8. A lot of love for Jayden Daniels in this thread. I think he'll be a bust. He was very underwhelming for 4 years before his last year in college. He doesn't seem like a leader. He's got the physical tools, but I don't think he has the intangibles of a franchise QB.
  9. Matt Corral's a starting QB in the USFL bro
  10. What if both Josh and Patrick collectively decided to quit the NFL and join the UFL? Josh goes to the Michigan Panthers. Patrick goes to the Memphis Showboats. What happens next?
  11. Thank you. I'm keeping a list. I titled the list "Da Kool Kidz"
  12. If Ruben Foster stays healthy, he'll definitely be a backup in the NFL again.
  13. If both of those guys keep failing to win the Super Bowl, they'll face the same criticism. Jackson is overrated, but still gets plenty of flack. Allen gets plenty of praise along with it. He's not a pariah.
  14. Yep. Other great QBs get the same flack. It shouldn't surprise anyone.
  15. Would be awesome if the NFL had the same system Based on this opening weekend, the merger seems to have been good for the quality of play.
  16. He's a top 3 QB in the league. Of course he's gonna get plenty of hate.
  17. Not really nostalgia, since we still have great RB and safety play around the league, but there is a reason they're two of the most undervalued positions.
  18. This is such a an odd thing to bring up and focus on.
  19. I don't think so. Top 3 are probably Ta'amu, Perez, Cookus, then maybe AJ. But AJ is not good. I haven't seen anyone say he's the top QB heading into this season. If Houston still had Walker, he'd be one of the best too, but I think he's still with the Browns.
  20. You think he'll get a look from the NFL?
