  1. The throaty growl of a V8. The smell of a new book.
  2. That's a good point, too. On top of risking STDs. The dating life is not fun for a lot of people and if there's not a significant cultural push towards getting married/having kids, then there's gonna be a huge drop off in numbers. There's no point. Plus, it's a lot harder for males to get laid than it is for females, in general. There's also the option of just watching porn and jerking off.
  3. Yeah, social media is just another sub-factor. The internet, in general....video games...and the perpetuated notion among youngsters that getting married/having kids sucks.
  4. It's actually what happens to all highly developed, overpopulated countries....even before social media existed.
  5. Is there an Allen Williams or a William Allen in the draft? If so, that would be a perfect scenario.
  6. Bills reporting was the same way up until recently. Pegulas have done what they can to control the media. Opinion pieces are fine, but subjective reporting parading as objective was a real problem. reporters being obnoxiously disrespectful at PCs was a real problem. Some reporters constantly acted like the Bills stole their lunch money. A lot of fans are the same way. They can't enjoy the game, regardless of it's outcome. Depression and self-righteousness has much to do with it.
  7. Gotta agree. I think all three would be great in any era. Sanders is my all-time favorite.
  8. The W-L record is one thing. He also has to take into account how the players are feeling. Does he make time for skip-level meetings with the players themselves? If the players have hope, there's a chance for a turn around. If the players don't believe, then make a change.
  9. Can't you throw together some duct tape, a paper clip, and hydrogen peroxide and make Buffalo a more desirable place? Life must be hard.
  10. Semi-open stadium downtown. That'll be sick. Fans will find a way to tailgate/cookout/party. Idk why people are so worried about that. When it comes down to it, tailgaters are just a small subset of fans, anyway.
  11. That's a really bad sign. They can't just be a league of NFL wash-outs. That was probably obvious to them. I bet they're plan was to have a strong initial showing and then use that to bargain with the NFLPA. That's a steep uphill battle. The XFL will run into the same problem, even if they have more money to throw around. They need to be a paying alternative to the NCAA. Develop star players of their own right out of high school.
  12. Welp...they ***** up that investigation. Handed the defense an out.
  13. They'd get drafted/the big NFL contract after playing in the D league a few years, just like they would coming out of college. Get paid, then drafted or play for free, then drafted. We all know most 4 or 5 star recruits will want to get paid sooner than later. What if they don't pan out in college or get a bad injury and don't even get drafted?... It would be an easy decision if the league could actually offer this. I've been talking hypotheticals this whole time. You're just your typical argumentative self.
  14. I'm saying I hope they would plan on becoming a D league. If a player could go into a developmental league for a 6 figure contract and be eligible for the NFL draft or a pro contract after a few years, so many would opt to go that route instead of going to college. So many. The staying potential of this league would skyrocket, if that could happen. If it's just going to be a minor league for NFL wash-outs, then there's little potential. If they could somehow get backups/practice squad players in there, then there'd be some potential. That seems unlikely to me. You seem to be in agreement, but just in the typical WEO tone.
  15. I think high school players could be developed in this league and get paid for it, rather than go to the NCAA and get exploited for 2-4 years. If that could happen, we'd see a lot of top high school recruits foregoing college. I'd be disappointed if it wasn't in their plans to try that out.
  16. The hope is that players can forego the NCAA and start getting paid right away in these leagues. If that can't happen, then there's not much potential. I don't know what the blockers are. Seems to work for the MLB and NBA.
  17. Are we sure the aliens aren't firing warning shots at Russia?
  18. I want N'Keal Harry with a trade back in the first Bennie Snell in the 4th
  19. Listening to Beasley's album now.... .... I'm hoping there's at least one downloadable song on here...
  20. LaAdrian Waddle's best PFF seasons were back in 2013 and 2014 (75.7, 70.1), when he played under the Bills' current OL coach Johnson.
