  1. I'm all for a trade back, but I think Greedy Williams is elite as well.
  2. This is why I think Murray will have some short-term success (if Kingsbury actually drafts him). Otherwise, he's not a leader. He doesn't have the same mentality that Baker has. From what I've seen, he's immature and has a weirdly controlling father. He's not gonna last.
  3. I think the new training facilities will do more towards preventing injuries than replacing the turf would.
  4. Pretty sure it's anybody. The Faceless men had a whole warehouse full of faces. Also, multiple persons wore the face of Jaqen Hghar, the first face that Arya met.
  5. I get what you're saying. I don't think this is a great example of that, though. This has no meaningful effect on our history or anybody's life (besides being subject to all the "outrage" on the internets.) Important people, good and bad, will remain in the history books. History has always been rewritten by powerful people. This is obviously a separate issue.
  6. "2019 Antonio Brown Sweepstakes Runners-Up"
  7. I'm not the person who cares enough to point it out and broadcast it. I'm open minded. Those were different times. My grandma was racist, too. It's all she ever knew. I still loved her. But if it's out there now, then yeah, ***** that B word. Her version of the song is meaningless. It's absence will have no effect. Bye. You know what I mean?
  8. Me too, I think. ? Need to still plan it. Gonna be a little road trip for me. It cannot get here soon enough. Sweet. A Thanksgiving invasion....
  9. Absolutely. Caught in the crossfire. The casualties of war. Kill a few to save many.
  10. Make sure you wake up on time, turn on the TV, grab a snack, and watch football. That's my motto...
  11. Nothing's ever certain and who knows how long you'll live in Westeros. By bending the knee, he just gave up the North. They didn't want to be ruled by a monarch in King's Landing or from across the sea. They wanted the North to be its own kingdom again. It's still a short-sighted complaint, considering that they're basically facing the apocalypse.
  12. This has been brought up a bunch of times. He's not that good. As a matter of fact, it's possible for Josh Allen to build a rapport with an even more talented WR.... ?
  13. As if everything hasn't been done already.... The space western genre could be something new for Hollywood to explore... I recently watched Prospect, which I thought was good. Stars Pedro Pascal of GoT, Narcos, and now Mandalorian fame. If you wanna watch the movie, don't watch that full trailer. It shows way too much.
  14. Kylo is kind of the same way. Both have been like a mirror image of each other, the Empire and the Sith. Young guns who are still kind of boyish and certainly wet behind the ears, trying to take control. Neither is the all-around leader that Palpatine or Snoke were. They're each just one half of that leading figure. Kylo has always been a fake, wearing a mask he doesn't even need. Just trying to be like his uncle. There's still good in him. I'm pretty sure he'll turn to the light side or whatever they're calling the light side now....
  15. Your argument is that the light-hearted moments were executed well. You're saying the tone was consistent with the rest of the series. That cracks me up. ? Honestly, I'm not hard to please and went into ep. VIII with no preconceived notions. That prank call scene made me cringe right away and the movie just got worse after that. It had it's moments, though. People like to get all high-and-mighty with their defence of ep. VIII, but just offer up weak straw man arguments. It ruins a good conversation.
  16. Yeah, it was cringe-worthy. They really went with that Marvel comedy trend and it stunk. Just like Ragnarok did, as others have pointed out, but at least that was Marvel.
  17. To the bolded, I see what you did there.... ? I agree with everything you're saying. Scenes like that kamikaze one were done simply for the sake of zigging instead of zagging. Johnson/the writers/Disney had the wrong motivations for that movie, so it sucked. However, I think if Abrams finishes the series well, it will make VIII look a little better by association.
  18. Yes... What are people questioning? All I've heard is positive anticipation for the service itself.
  19. I think that's a weapon she's planning to use on the Night King. Arya can still change faces, right? She'll try to appear as a wight walker and kill him. The Night King will see right through that, obviously....
  20. That's not the Rogue One spin-off. The Mandalorian is its own story set about 5-10 years after The Last Jedi. It'll be like a space western. The Rogue One spin-off is a spy series centered around Cassian and K2-SO. I'm much more interested in The Mandalorian, but I'll give the other a shot, of course. I read that Disney+ will offer a year subscription for $70. That's $5.83/month.
  21. ?... I'm Jeff Tough to do when GOD is playing CB....
  22. I totally agree with what you're saying. If you've done your homework, you know she's a scumbag. But for people just reading headlines and the basic story that's reported on so many sites (most people), this comes off as being super petty. I haven't read the New York times article, so I can't speak to it's content. Does it go in depth? Does it mention anything you just did? Or is it just a puff piece? This is the problem with the media and why so many people are turned off and not even seeking out the truth. Both sides just huffing and puffing. I mean, read this: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/new-york-post-ilhan-omar-911-attacks What conclusions would you make without having any prior knowledge about CAIR? From Fox News, who you'd think would have some incentive to add some background information to put this under the correct light. From my perspective, they're doing more good for the left. It's silly. They come off as just catering to readers who hate Muslims. The same way a CNN article may come off as just catering to readers who hate conservative Christians. This frivolous back-and-forth between news outlets is so off-putting and the dialogue it creates is so distracting.
  23. Her comment was basically: A group of radicals did something and the rest are paying a price for it. With that sentiment alone, I would have no issue. Hating all Muslims because of 9/11 is like hating all whites because of slavery is like hating all Germans because of Nazis is like hating all Canadians because they ruin bacon is like hating the Dutch because they're Dutch.... People are so basic.
