There is generally a fine line between game shape and…………broken. The human body was not meant….we’ve all heard it. The guys who amaze me the most in sports are not the flashy guys as much as the guy who plays NFL football for 10-15 years and only misses a few plays. You see that in some linemen, and those guys are just bad asses. That is superhuman to me. I think they need to do more to expand rosters and PS flexibility with these longer seasons. They will go to 18 games, and it would be criminal if teams don’t get two bye weeks.

It sure would be swell if we could take a ride down that rabbit hole again! Seriously, I’m begging you all. I don’t think I can take it! 😂

I hope the Pats* win enough early to get them out of the top 5 in the draft, beat the Jets and Dolphins at least once each…….then realize “we just aren’t that good” and tail off later in the season. Scrappy only goes so far.

Things like this always come down to what is in writing. Where in Tua’s contract or the CBA does the league have this power? They need to have the right to force him to retire, and I don’t think they do.

One of the things I liked about the Davis college highlights was it wasn’t just him running the ball and catching passes. There was a fairly long segment of plays where it showed him to be very willing and pretty capable in pass protection. That holds a lot of young RB’s back. That shouldn't hold him back so we can use him up for four years, then rinse and repeat.

I feel dirty cheering for the Cowboys, but such is life.

I’m not one to ever go to another team’s message board, but I can’t imagine that it’s pretty. Until they show us differently it’s reputation over results. Are their fans calling for heads? I’m serious, how is the attitude?

I think it matters very, very, very little, but I’d give the edge to the Bills despite the bad start against the Cards who now seem to be good. It’s all an illusion at this time of year. Get into the playoffs, be healthy and lucky and peak at the right time. Close, but he looks more like a homeless guy. .

When he is, you might want to look away. That is when he seems to be due for something gruesome.

The 49’ers are winning with Purdy. It doesn’t matter when you find them as much as that you find them. We have a bit of the same deal.

I was walking thru Costco with my wife on Father’s Day of this year. My phone rang and I looked at the caller ID. I froze and didn’t know what to do so I just held it out for my wife to see. She froze. It was from our son Michael. He passed away in 2018. Stunned, I eventually answered. It was some lady who has his old number looking for a guy named Leo. I like to think of it as a little hello. Michael is due to have a new little niece in about 3 weeks. Her name is Michaela. .

At SOME point, if the same guy keeps showing up in the highlights, somebody should take special notice. But I honestly don’t know how they can tell a player who is cleared he can’t play.

You’re part of this family. We can each pass it on in different ways. I’d see my dad every time I finished a Bills Digest. It helped build a bond.

It became a rite of passage type thing, and a special bond. Like with our dads, it’s something you pass on. It’s also something we have in common to stay in touch with each other. It’s easy to let every day life take over, but if there is any Bills news we will all make time. It’s a beautiful thing.

Remember a 12-14 game season? It’s getting like baseball, but baseball doesn’t have the same attrition rate. We have a LOOOOOOONG way to go in this season. Knock on wood!

How old is your son? We took our kids to NFL games in Florida when they were young, but I didn’t take them to Buffalo until they were 16. It wasn’t an age thing, it’s just when it worked into our lives. Those are very special memories. You should be excited! ENJOY!!!
