Naming my favorite place is super easy, but naming second place would be much harder. The best hands down was at InRome Cooking class on our last night in Rome. We made everything from scratch and it was the best pizza and gelato of my life. I have a pic of my wife with a whole pie in front of her, then another showing her taking the last bite. You can go all in and lose, too. Going “all in” guarantees nothing, other than issues down the road. You have to be in it to win it. I think of that as the more mature point of view, but you do you. If we had won a SB 5 or 10 years ago, it would give me absolutely no pleasure whatsoever next season.

I was hoping to see what a poll might look like. 😂 I don’t know enough about market value by position, but I trust them with all this. I’m glad we are drafting, developing and rewarding our own good players. I just hope it pans out and the deals look fair because this is a gamble like everything else. Fortunately, I don’t fear that we have any Dareus types getting new deals.

We keep saying we need more elite talent. Cook can jump off the screen at you and take over a game. I realize his limitations, but he’s someone people might ask “who is THAT guy?” I want more of that, then just use them right. See how easy this is?

I was at lunch a while ago and the bartender tells me the lady at a table nearby just got back from seeing her son, a long snapper, play a very cold game in KC. It was Reid’s mother, but her other son was the LS for the Dolphins. What are the odds of having TWO sons in the NFL as long snappers? They found a cool little niche.

I’m glad you have help on the way. I’ve been on the couch more than I would have liked. The sound is just like a white noise machine to me. That wasn’t a big deal, personally. I like white noise of some kind, it beats random noises.
