The Cathy family is highly religious, and that is their prerogative. The MSL games are played there as well as a lot of other major events like the SEC Championship and other college games. MLS games are roughly 2-3 times a month at home from late February to October, and they are PACKED and rockin’! They do screen off the upper bowl, but I’d still say way more people attend MLS or “other” events than Falcons games over the course of the year. They have a half dozen days blocked for FIFA World Cup coming up as well. The Falcons are only good for 8-10 games a year, and not always on Sundays. Having the closed shops on Sundays still serves as a form of marketing, just like the many billboards they have around town. I don’t think the Cathy family or their franchisees are hurting in any way, and I respect someone who is willing to stand on their principles rather than try to take in every single dollar possible. .

….and forget about the cameras. I don’t want to have to act differently because cameras are on me. You get me, like it or not.

I would like D Henry to get another 20 carries this game. That helps us in multiple ways.

The ATL stadium has MLS and a ton of other events. Regardless, Chick fil a is an ATL based company with a prominent family and they would want to have a presence there.

New York City is truly special around the holidays. There is an energy that is hard to describe. We took the kids up before Christmas one year and we still talk about that trip years later. NYC also looks and smells best when covered in snow, sadly.

Seriously, what can you do that’s at least a bit unique and interesting, that will appeal to such a diverse group of people? Something between golf clubs and Gulfstreams. I was excited for my first game when the new Atlanta dome opened. I kept hearing about the great concession prices. I went in early and got a beer. I later tried at least 2-3 times to get some more of this affordable concession stuff, but there was no way I was going to miss that much time to get to the front of the line. Apparently a lot of people were more interested in the food you could not get to than the football game. It’s not cheap if you can’t get to it.

What’s hard to realize is I have my Halloween costume on under that. Every damn year……

I think @Ice bowl 67 is still around from time to time. He could be for real and truly Wisconsin Nice. My sister lives in Appleton, and people are really like that. When I went to the Bills game there a few years back I walked all over town in my Bills gear and I kept hearing “Welcome to Wisconsin!” It was a thing, like “Go Bills” apparently, because it happened multiple times. I think old Ice is either too nice or too smart to get eviscerated here.

When I met my wife I had 2 Golden Retrievers who had been with me since college. She was recently talking about how when we first got together they would lay in the bed and keep us separated. They took their duty very seriously, and we were newlyweds. Damn dogs had to learn!
