  1. Strenuously? OK, we will have to reconsider then. I remember what life was like when Taron was out for a while. No more of that, please.
  2. Really? This is what we are thinking this morning? He will have his moments.
  3. Where did you last see it, my mother asked.
  4. I think one half was enough. It’s cold outside. Everyone should just go home and call this a game.
  5. Really? I was almost positive I had spotted you. You were with people in blue and red, right? I was so sure….. 🤷‍♂️ …
  6. And we sincerely thank you for your sacrifice and consideration. You poor thing! 😊
  7. Take care of it??? That was US!
  8. My son was just here talking about watching a Bills game in Hawaii. They were at the bar about 6am, but they couldn’t serve alcohol until 7am. They took orders in advance so they could have them ready to pass out when the bell rang! I mean, if you can drink at 7am, you might as well pretend you’re at an airport and nobody blinks if your drinking at any time of the day or night (or morning).
  9. I just found a live webcam of Hammer’s Lot, so I’ll keep an eye out for you passing by at least.
  10. Hey! Watch out for frost bite! I’ll be in my recliner in ATL with nobody here but my wife and the dogs. My son and his family just left after lunch. He’s hard on the refs and it wears me out. I’m too old for the B wording. I’m anxious enough without other people making it worse. . .
  11. I’ve listed all the interesting and important parts below: You’re welcome.
  12. I pray for our Bills to play one of them soon.
  13. I don’t even remember seeing the looking glass, yet here I am on the other side. 🤷‍♂️ WTH kind of decision was that??? We have some fans for you, Texans!
  14. The USC Trojan football Cheerleading Team.
  15. One could ask, do you want David to win, or do you want to slay Goliath yourself? I personally don’t give a crap. I just want a SB. 😊
  16. I’ve been at this long enough to be allowed to dream a little. It would be such beautiful justice if we got to beat the Ravens and the Texans on our way to the Super Bowl. Two teams who beat us early, but we got our revenge. .
  17. I have never signed in here on my phone. I’m not sure if I could because I’m wondering what my password might be. 🤷‍♂️
  18. Credit to you, sir, for powering thru that. The ChatGPT stuff is incredible, though. Like, a bit freaky. . .
  19. Umm, thank you for editing it. 😊
  20. I know this is too soon, and I don’t want to sound insensitive, but I’m sure there are many similarities to recovery from a major hurricane strike. Clean up, then rebuild. After Hugo destroyed Charleston it was surreal, with yachts in the middle of the roads downtown and all kinds of other bizarre sights. All the crappy old properties and billboards were destroyed, and eventually replaced by something brand new. Insurance adjusters and construction workers rushed to the area and started to replace what was lost. As tragic as it was, it provided tremendous economic stimulation. We were busier than ever at the bank because everybody had needs. Charleston was a much nicer place a couple years following Hugo than it was before. I know that is no consolation to people who have lost everything, but I’m trying to find a silver lining. That’s about all I got….
  21. We have a plumber/gas guy who handles anything that could go BOOM!!! I’m not sure how many times he told me he was a safety/compliance guy in the military, but he was a safety/compliance guy in the military.
  22. I can’t say I’m crazy about having the government or anyone else telling me what I can or cannot do with my property.
  23. After Homestead, FL got decimated they changed all the building codes. Things became much more expensive to build. I’m familiar with what some of those code changes were, and I’m honestly curious about what might be implemented to mitigate this horror in the future. How can we do this better? EDIT: I’m not an insurance expert, but a friend had a house burn down and had to build new. Have replacement coverage! Material costs had spiked and it was a nightmare for him following lumber daily. Stuff you hope you never have to learn. .
  24. Congrats on being the first poster to nail it! That is exactly what would happen.
