Training Camp is to install systems, get better and improve timing and technical scheme issues. Preseason games are to get smiley face stickers for staying healthy. A bit of live speed is good, intentionally dangerous is silly.

I agree, and I wish people could have a few drinks in peace so we didn’t need them. Sadly, we are not that fortunate. Even worse, some of the people who get these jobs are just bullies who want some jollies. Not all, but a few.

We are not relying on getting lucky, we are evaluating for better options. Funny how that can sound so different if you twist it another way. We only have so many resources. ….and they all say it loudly at the same time. It’s like being wife my wife’s family. I learned early on that looking for a quiet space to read a book is considered rude. By them. I thought it was a brilliant solution. We do not see eye to eye there, but I never married into the ESPN family, so the remote has me just whiz right by unless there is a specific football or college basketball game I want to see.

Sometimes I wish they would stop. 😋 I had originally planned to be at that game with a college buddy who has season tix. I could hit a Xavier basketball game the same weekend. That and the home opener was a nice plan, but it’s been a big travel year for us already and I’m booked to go to the London game too. I did some rough math, and I’m firmly in the guilty feeling zone. As for doing something for Damar, we’ve done all that already. It’s time for football. That deep into he season it will be all but forgotten, I hope. And this is assuming he makes the team. .
