Pong? That is where I launched my legendary career.

Building the most problematic NFL player 🤣

Is this like Mr Potato Head? He doesn’t look very shifty to me. -

There is a massive blunder amongst us, and it is upsetting. . -
RIP I had my phase, and still one band I never find myself turning the station on. I would be nice to leave beautiful things behind when you move on.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Augie replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve been to maybe a half dozen games in the old Nashville stadium, and I always had a great time. The stadium was nice without being too elaborate and it looked like a place where football was played. I’m sure the new stadium will be a great experience, but I find the exterior to be ugly as sin. It ain’t no Minneapolis! But to each their own. You are forgetting how those prices magically rise. We have some recent evidence of that. -

You know, a little whoopsie like that just might cost you your job. 🤷♂️ -
Sportico releases 2023 NFL franchise valuations (Bills at 29)
Augie replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Back in my banking days some people would ask “which set of books do you want to see?” That was never a good starting point. 😂 Nice investment for the Pegulas and I do not resent their profit for a single second. They kept the Bills in WNY, and they did not take anything from me that I wasn’t willing to part with. -
If Kincaid can fill the slot role of this team...

Does Vegas have an over/under on how many games the little fella plays? The under would be very tempting. -

The beginning of 2022? Or the end of 2022? The red zone is an issue for sure, but it’s not like we can ignore that it looked like we had a different offense at the end of the year after that amazing start. We can certainly be better than the way we finished last season. How much of that was the elbow injury and how much was other factors? We’ll probably never know. -

The BIGGEST question mark is still OLine, but we need legit options in the slot to have a well rounded offense. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a 7 yard completion that moves the chains.- 107 replies

Sounds like a recent DC in WNY. Not unlikeable, but with other dark questions. We never know what happens behind closed doors. I have to practice my trust.

Maid of the Mist is a MUST! It’s one thing to see it, another to be IN IT! Took the whole family a few years ago for the (disappointing) opener vs the Steelers. But the Saturday before we went on one of the windiest days in forever, which is saying something. It was HYSTERICAL just trying to keep our ponchos from blowing off! We were too wet to see the tears of laughter, but we have priceless video and pics. .

Growing up the fishing shows came right after curling. I don’t remember Bambi being in danger. I mean, other than when Godzilla was in the neighborhood.

I wish I didn’t laugh at that quite so hard. I really do.

Does “HELP ME UP!” count?

But at least they will be able to say he got a chance to do more and look how that turned out. And THEN clean up with a franchise QB. We will be solving multiple problems even if it wasn’t intended that way.

Oh, but he was so cryptic about it that only the conscious people knew what he meant. But I agree, that was a mini-Payton move, but talking about his own coach. Odd strategy there, indeed. .

Do you have some room for him in the van down by the river? How many times did he interview for HC and get passed over? That is not a matter of chance. I certainly don’t know the guy, but it all seems to paint a pretty obvious picture.

I’m not an art man myself. We’ve taken some big trips this year and I have a firm “No More Museums or Cathedrals” rule for at least another year. Buffalo is more of an eating and drinking town, but not necessarily in that order. Great foods (beef on weck, wings and pizza for starters) and bars can stay upon until 4:30am. Personally? I might get up to pee at that hour, but in my youth I learned that I would not be the only person out at that time. Our architect friend sent a picture of a beer, some wings and beef on weck his first night there. I responded about an hour later he had to try the pizza too. I instantly got a photo of him with beer and pizza. I don’t know how he is so thin! 😂 EDIT: My sister in law has been with a guy from Argentina for about 20 years. His name is Jorge, I’m sure you know him. 😋 .

@Gonzonzo I don’t know what kind of things interest you, but you might like to know that the Buffalo area has a very rich history in architecture. I have a neighbor who is a rather renowned architect and he recently went just to see the Frank Lloyd Wright stuff and a bunch of other architectural highlights. People hear “Buffalo” and they think of a snowy rust belt area, but there used to be a lot of wealth and a lot of great stuff is left behind as a result. .

Bringing beverages, especially something “special”, is always well received! Don’t be presumptuous, but people are incredibly generous at the tailgates. You will be well received for the effort it took to be there. I have often wondered how many people at a game traveled more than, say, 100 or 200 miles to be there. It’s a big percentage but you will almost certainly be the winner! Oh, and be careful! My wife’s uncle came from Lebanon to visit with bottles of Ouzo in his luggage. They broke, of course, and everything he had with him had that licorice smell to it! 😂

Thanks! This is the kind of thing I’ve always wanted! They probably don’t go as early as I’d like, but it sure would save a lot of hassle. I think the article said they had a whopping 44 passengers last year? I know, one game, but still. They will need to ramp that way, WAY up to take pressure off due to last parking areas.

I’ve got a partially torn rotator cuff that has caused me to take 12 months or more off from tennis 3 times in my adult life. It eventually would magically heal up and I could play again. I’m just a few years older than you, and I’ve always put off the surgery. This time it’s been well over 2 years, and it’s just not getting any closer to getting back on the courts. The only thing I can’t do is serve or hit overheads. I think it’s time to decide if I go under the knife, or just resign myself to giving up something I loved for decades that also helped to keep me fit. Getting old sucks. Injuries with feet or backs always scare me. I’m not worked up over every little setback with Brown, but there is a dark cloud always hanging over him until enough time passes that I consider it a thing of the past. Hopefully in that time we find out he can actually be a quality RT in the NFL.

Bills’ Von Miller has two word update on his return from ACL tear

If Groot has a healthy Floyd, Ed and later in the year Von, I like our ability to get in the Qb’s face. I am VERY excited by that idea. More than most, apparently.
