By the time the playoffs roll around and Von is back to playing winning football, we should have the pleasure of seeing some QB pressure in crunch time when we need it. Throw Ed in there as well, and it will be a pleasant change seeing Mahomes, Burrows and the others scurrying for cover. We’ve been on the wrong end of that pressure FAR too often!

We bought Atlanta Braves tickets on-line when they moved to the new stadium near us. We got inside fine, but even the ushers had to say “I’m sorry, these seats just don’t exist.” They made up for it by taking us to the best available seats in the house! 😊

That’s a lot of dough! And it at least looks good. One of the better pizza places here opens at a certain time and “closes when they run out of dough.” I doubt that’s ever happened, but they like to describe it that way.

As I believe GunnerBill pointed out, they seemed to have been at least partially figured out already last year. I think they scored about 29 ppg early in the season with a healthy Tua, then closer to 20 ppg for the last 4 games. I think I got that right, but if my memory failed me……I’ll just blame him somehow. 😋

Give them a map, and see if they can figure out how to use it and then get a good laugh when they try to fold it back up! 😋

Payton did nothing but put pressure on himself. He was to a large degree trying to protect his QB, but it was certainly not well thought out. Plus, if it was REALLY THAT BAD, we must have a good enough roster to WIN WAY MORE GAMES! Go ahead, exceed expectations now. It felt a little like Rex trying to win the offseason, and I don’t find that to be a good feeling.

I think Hackett is what he is, and it’s nothing more than ordinary. The EXTRAORDINARY was the comments from Payton. What an idiotic thing to do! I thought Payton had some genius, but he’s made me question him more now.

Small correction, but he’s actually 71. Not TOO different, but just that much older. It’s like infants and the elderly, when every little bit counts and you include the 1/2’s. My granddaughter is 9 months and my mother is 95 and a half. In the middle we settle for ranges, like “he’s in his mid-thirties.” OK, good enough. Curious, maybe I missed it, but what do YOU WANT to happen?

Sorry, off topic, but I enjoy Dan Patrick and listen to the show often in the morning. I watched on Peacock for a while, but at some point the morning show on TV became the show from the day before. Anyone else run into that? What’s up? Is there a fix? I don’t see an explanation anywhere. Even updated the app, which may be part of the problem? 🤷‍♂️ I did hear the topic come up and I think Damar will be on the PS at worst. Getting picked up by another team is a real possibility. Somehow, somewhere he will be fine. He’s already The Big Winner!

PSA I’ve mentioned this before when Bills Bars come up, but don’t just trust the info you find on line. Call and verify that is current info or you are taking a risk on game day! More than once I’ve found that bar was closed or the people tell me (when I DO find the right place) “Oh, is that what it said? We moved a few years ago!”
