….and turned out to be good enough that he got a big offer and we couldn’t afford to keep him. . -

I agree with you, we aren’t drafting Ed’s backup. I didn’t even see who that is yet, but we will draft a guy who will be seeing more of the field. As for Jeremiah, I wouldn’t call him clueless. I think he’s one of the better ones out there, but has a financial obligation to crank some stuff out. -
Poyer was probably swayed by the idea of a few more paychecks……… closely followed by getting the shady sideline. 😋 I’d love to see him chasing futilely as our speedy new WR runs away from everybody on his way to the end zone! .

I don’t think bringing guys out of retirement is in the official handbook for how to get younger and cheaper as a team.

I have to wait ten years until I can have an opinion on this.

Hospice Nurse shares patients behavior before they pass.

It’s Okay, and he was there for her for 53 years. How we live those years matters far more than the last few moments. They will be together again, but only when it’s time. . -
Did you watch the MHJ segment in the Chris Simms clip above? That is sounding BEYOND rich for him. But what do I know? I watched some MHJ in college and saw a man among boys, but I’m not sure he’s wrong.

Bills sign Taron Johnson to 3-year $31 million extension

It seems we are slipping a bit. Or, maybe Beane isn’t the idiot some people like to think he is? Highly unusual. 🤷♂️ -

I don’t know what she knew at the time, but my mother-in-law had episodes like this when she was close. It wasn’t a month, or even weeks, but in the final few days she was talking to and about people from her past. In high school we read several books about Near Death Experiences, and I’ve read countless books on the topic since. I find it fascinating, and somewhat comforting. There are a LOT of things we cannot begin to understand. The people who work in the Hospice field are angels on earth. I don’t think I could do what they do, it takes something special. -
It is considered poor form to say it’s all about the money. 😋

I think he’ll save this one for a playoff game against thew Bengals. It’s GOLD!

Interesting that you chose those two players, as it says a little something about RB’s in today’s NFL. McCaffrey was the 8th pick in the draft so much was expected, while Pacheco was taken in the 7th round. You can get a really good RB in late rounds if you know what you are doing and get a little lucky. I’d have no problem with taking a RB (or even a QB) with one of those late round picks.

I think smaller conference tournaments had some surprises which got automatic bids stealing some spots. The Big East will probably be right back to 5-6 bids next season. It was just the way things fell this year. From my BE team (Xavier) college hoops board: I think we could see The 3 Big East teams do really well, even though I haven't looked at the matchups yet. I believe the national champion is almost always a top 25 offense and defense in the adjusted KenPom rankings. All 3 BE teams are top 25 in both. There are only 8 teams that are and the BE has 3 of them. EDIT: I was away at a wedding so I missed the hoopla when this came out. I heard today that of the four #1 seeds, three did NOT win their conference tournament. Only UConn won, so that alone is 3 extra teams getting an automatic bid. I think some tournaments out West went that way too. . .

You’d look better. You’re a Bills fan so it’s not even close. 😋

When I see the tread title I think you mean “again.” But it is again, AGAIN???

Our son had a dirt bike accident in elementary school. He ended up in a back brace for several months. By the time he got to high school we had noticed what appeared to be some occasional low back and hip stiffness as we’d watch him in sports and life in general. The Docs said everything was fine, but we were not so sure. One thing led to another and we wound up at Doctor Joe’s, the chiropractor. If he was particularly tight or had a big basketball game we’d get him to Doctor Joe between school and game time. There is ZERO doubt as to whether it helped him to some degree. In fact, after one of his first appointment he got a Technical in warmups for dunking. Here’s the thing, even HE seemed surprised! He had never done it before or even come particularly close. And that wasn’t just a one off, he clearly moved better after being adjusted. That dunk cost me $100 as I had the carrot out there. I didn’t see it coming from a 5’10” at the time sophomore. Unfortunately, the new coach had a rule, get a T and you sit the rest of the game, even if it hadn’t started yet. Now, this new HC was standing right there watching him do it, but he didn’t know the no dunking rule either! We got whooped, and the HC got an earful from the AD. -
But, have there been any cryptic Tweets? That’s what we all want to know about! I try to always be a wait and see guy, but we know we have a pattern, of something, here. Demons? Or process servers?

Are we discriminating against Zombie movies here? Because I don’t watch either. When did that become “a thing”? EDIT: Of course except for Young Frankenstein, which was hilarious. .

I have to disagree, to some extent. St Patricks Day is the only day of the year you get to listen to live bands along the River in Savannah while wading thru streets flowing with vomit and urine from the porta-potties that had been overflowing since noon. The sweet smell of celebration! You can’t get that every day! ….unless you live in New Orlean. 😂

We should give the guy a break. It’s not like he said he doesn’t BELIEVE in soup. THAT would be crazy. Still, I love soups, so I don’t think we will be able to be friends.

Bills Host DT Sebastian Joseph-Day on Visit

I’ll give you that one, but I need to be graded on a curve. The wife is away, and I have the son’s dog on top of my two. Our puppy loves having a fresh victim. I may have self-medicated a bit. 🤷♂️ In case this could in the future be held against me, I was kidding, of course. -

I have a buddy that size. He has back problems. 😋 But I’d never want to line up across from him. If he just fell on me once it would be a nightmare. . -
